Would You Use Darkchips?

I don't think they'd make a difference. If my navi could fight the pull of darkchips like you said, I'd treat them just like powerful normal chips.

Darkchips are like the Dark side of the Force. A quick way to power at the cost of your navi's soul.

I will not touch a Darkchip just for the sake of winning a fight, but if lives were at stake, that may change.

Dark chips? -_-; I never used them in the first place in EXE 4 & 5! ...unless you count Chaos Unions. :/ But, Chaos Unions themselves are dangerous when you don't time it right. So, why use them if its going to ruin my navi's (if I had one, it'll be X.EXE, Kaiser.EXE or Kenshin.EXE) data. Especially, if my navi is powerful. :/ We won't want an uber powerful navi recking the place, now don't we?

I'd rather use my trusty Holy Dream/Pile Driver chips. ^^ That way, I get bragging rights! XD

Never, I'll never use a Dark Chip, it ain't worth losing Hit Points over, it would just make my Navi weaker and weaker and easier to delete, sure if i use the chips he would be strong in attacks....but heh, after while, heh, you could probally delete me easy if you hit me with just 1 Cannon Battle Chip and im dead, cuz my HP is like nothing, LOL

I rather have my navi balanced out in Strength and Health, rather then one over lapping the other

Well when i got BN4....i skipped the part that told me bout them so i used 1.....and i definetly learned my lesson!.....so no i dont but i sometimes(rarely)...use chaos unions.....i keep pausing and unpausing so dark mega doesnt slaughter me! Laughing

Good question...hm....only as a LAST resort. I only used a darkchip once in BN 4/5 and that was against two or three of the final bosses.

But if i had to, i might but then I'd have to go through the whole purifying thing with the vaccine chip. Even that might not work so I probably wouldn't use a darkchip unless i had to.

If I had a Navi who was specially designed to handle the Darkchips, then yes, I would. Otherwise, not on your life. Too risky.

Hmm, interesting. Dark chips would give my navi (I wish they were real, the idea of having a friend who will always be there for you sounds very nice. *sigh*) more powers. But I don't want to use it. I value my friendship with my navi above that. I don't mind if my navi remained weaker without the dark chip. It would not be the most important thing. No, I would never use it.

However, if I came in a situation similar to that of Enzan in Axess (I am not entirely sure what happened, I have to look it up) then the decision would be very difficult.

Well... in the games, EXE 4 and 5, I use 1 Dark Chip only for the sake of Numberball, plus Chaos Unison. If it's real life, I would not use it unless my navi can perform Chaos Unison. Otherwise, I'll stick with Guardians, Meteors, and Big Bombs for mass deleting. The "Dark Chips" in EXE 6 were pretty pointless though, but I'll go off-topic if I discuss that.

heck no! even in the games, i wouldn't even think about using dark chips. my friend did so all the time but i think that would be exteremly dangerous. having GuincoolMind (my fan NetNavi) go crazy and start killing random navis sounds scary...nope, just too dangerous.

I agree. I think that in general, most people wouldn't use Dark Chips unless their Navis could handle it (i.e. Chaos Unison).

If there were DarkChips like in EXE5, i'd have them just to complete a library, but i'd probably never ever use them though.
