Some random spritework...

Yeah, my friend and I run a comic (that we haven't uplaoded to either site yet) so we do a lot of spriting. Some are just recolors, some are minor edits, and some are complete customs/blends.

Cross Fusion, 1st draft
The boys with wings. And, er, scarves.
Every comic needs a random dude that serves no purpose.
One thing we do a lot of is switching operators around.
My author, a recolor of ProtoMan. He's not insomuch an author, actually, just a villian who pretends to be one.
My friend's avatar. He's not actually an author either, just my apparent rival and a good guy.

Meh. I could post some more work, but *shrug*. We do a lot of EXE sprites, with a fair balance for the others.
Most of the recolors are mine, but the custom work is pretty much all his.

Well they all look like recolors, but the Cross Fusion first draft one has nothing added to it...

Yeah, like I said, they're mostly recolors...
And I changed the hair color and skin tone and several other things, like visor color on CF ProtoMan.
The author avatar is a mix of a few sprites, including Bass and Harpuia, and that's a recolored ProtoMan sword.
I have better drafts of the angel ones where I used Swallowman's wings on the school network. Those wings are the Pegasi wings from Fire Emblem.

That's the thing, though. All you're doing are Frankensteins and Recolors, which I believe aren't allowed. I can't say I like any of them due to lack of effort.

Boy With Wing's- on set of wing's attached to Chaud and a re-colored Rockman
Eggplant- isn't that X?
Switching around- Sal doesn't have Blue hair

Besides for his hair being turned brown the cross fusion rockman looks exactly the same

I think the CF sprites can actually be blamed on how similar the Navis look to their operators...

What I actually did was cut out the faces from the Navis and place the rest of the armor around the operators faces...

I changed a few other things about Sal, actually...I changed the symbol on her headband and I can't remember what else...

The author one, mine, I can't even remember. Harpuia's...I'm just saying what I know of what he did...

The wings? My better drafts, are, like I said, on the school network...I did the wings themselves from scratch and used my Blues and Hub sprites, as well as a few other changes...

And yes, that's X with a scarf. I put scarves on a lot of sprites...I'm working on the Tory one now, actually, and I was going to put a scarf on him.

Even if they look like recolors, I rarely just do those, and those are usually because I want to change something about a character and have not all the people look the same. I don't post just plain recolors usually. The only one I did was my authory-type guy.
