Lan with Magnet Shoes?

Ok...Before I start I'm terribly sorry for not using the japanese names because some people don't like the english names....well im sorry...because after my military school thing i almost forgot all about Megaman...Ahem i mean Rockman...
ok so here I go

I found out that lan's shoes had magnets for his roller skates....

Well if hes around electronics.......(his pet.....computer.....stuff like that) wouldnt the magnets interfere with it? That's really weird :S

Regardless of whether they're magnetized or not, unless Netto decided to kick his electronics, they'd be fine... They'd have to be pretty damn powerful to effect electronics eitherwise.
It also has a lot to do with the technology itself. It's mainly only hardware that rely on magnets that are effected by other magnets (hard drives, magnetic tape and film like in floppy disks).
With the level of techology used in the EXE series, it's possible that the PET is either shielded (and that's likely, considering that they're used by kids. In real life, such a device would be built kid-proof) or aren't effected by magnets.

Does anyone know if flash memory (and thusly thumbdrives) is/are effected by magnets?

All I know is that magnets mess up your bank card and floppy disks. I'm not verry all knowing on computers and stuff.

The PETs are pretty kid-proof, yes. They're getting dropped all over the place, and Netto has even operated it underwater on one or two occasions. (I guess Nintendo helped make these things.)

On another note, just degauss the PET screen. I do wonder, though... if that would sting for the navi any. (Fry them puppies. =P)

Considering that Netto took his PET into that magnetic field VideoMan created, I'd assume the system's pretty hardy.

Well, Netto was in Cross Fusion and had the protective aid of a Salamander chip, which apparently granted him the ability to dive into magma after Burnerman... he didn't exactly rip his clothes off and jump in naked.

eh, kinda funny, in the games you dont notice them until you start "running". It's like they magically appear...unless Netto/Lan can walk really good with Inliners on.

Actually, if you look closely at Netto's feet as he's walking, you see that he indeed walks with his skates on. I guess he's had a lot of practice Razz
