I Agree! Stream went overboard with Crossfusion! I Hate Crossfusion, it makes Navis look like Nobodies! Like tools.

...are you done bashing Stream then?

Stream may have had some lame fillers, but I'm enjoying the most serious ones of the entire series. Cross Fusion may be overused (the last few CF Rangers, to be exact), but I'm enjoying the main ones.

There's always hope in the possible new Rockman.exe anime series.

Rockman.exe: Woah boy, calm down. You do realize is the fault of fans, right? I mean people were complaining that Netto just sits there drinking soda and sending chips. Now that he's actually doing something useful, you all are complaining about it. I'm sure many thought about the fact that Netto barely does anything during EXE. In other words, you reap what you sow.

Hobbit_Hunter: the movie already happened in the Stream storyline.

Having not seen much of Stream in a form I can understand, I can't really give an accurate and educated opinion of it. But what I do know of it. . . doesn't really leave me with a good impression of it. In fact I'd say it's kind of weak as a series goes. A lot of people I've noticed have been trying to think up reasons why Stream isn't as good as it could have (and SHOULD have) been, such as the movie cutting into the series' production values. The problem with this is other series have had movies done during their production runs. Some series even have one movie released every year, but the quality of the animation, writing, or what have you doesn't drop NEARLY as much as it has at times in Stream.

And as for cramming in so many human characters from the games that hadn't appeared before. . . if that was true then how come we got like, almost ten generic, one shot, anime only characters in Stream and have yet to see Atsuki or Terry make an appearance?

I think Stream pretty much compounds all the faults of Axess and the original EXE series into a bit of a mess. We have the original EXE's penchant for ignoring the game's arguably more interesting plot developments (RockMan actually being the reincarnation of Saito, the origin of Forte, and of course, the Life Virus) for its own silly, and rather generic storylines (N1 Grand Prix, the "world tour" episodes) and lack of competant, dangerous enemies for a great majority of the series. (WWW and Gospel were seriously watered down from their game counterparts). And from Axess, we have an overabundance of Cross Fusion, ignoring too many established characters in favor of new ones (needs more Tamako, Miyu, and Commander Beef) and taking a little too long to get on with its story developments.

I think what I'm most disappointed in with Stream is how often the more interesting plot developments they could have used are avoided and instead replaced with something. . . dumb. The introduction of the "Asteroid Navis" was a perfect opportunity to reuinite Navis with their respective operators who had been made Darkloids or solo Navis in the past. In particular I thought this would mean Asteroid PlantMan being given to Anetta which could lead to all sorts of trouble, maybe even to Anetta temporarily joining Neo WWW after A. PlantMan got her into a bit of trouble. Instead we got A. PlantMan teamed up with some stupid little kid who doesn't like vegetables, and we'll never see the brat again anyway, so what was the point?

Actually, I think the biggest problem with Stream is that it keeps throwing the anime staff's original stuff that IMO doesn't quite compare with the stuff that comes from the games. When it came to Misaki and PrismMan, Kifune, and Manabe, Axess did a pretty good job of creating original characters, but how many of the original operators paired up with random Asteroid Navis does anyone really give a damn about? Does Neo WWW even compare with Nebula, or even New WWW? And was it really necessary to force Barrel to take a back seat by sticking him in the past, just so we could see more Cross Fusion?

Who says Meiru doesn't have a crest? Even though we've never flat-out seen it, it's pretty clear that she is a "chosen one" like the rest. And there's a lot of people who could Cross Fuse BEFORE they received a crest... Netto, Enzan, Laika, Yuriko, and perhaps Tesla too (though that one's still up in the air... she saw the meteor long before she got her crest, but she fused after seeing the meteor)...

Thank you hobbit hunter for clearing up some of my guff on Stream.
I still think this one has more problems than it did with Axess. The plot forwarding eps aren't so bad though.

I'm still watching it, right?

My biggest problem with Stream is that it's just not on par with Axess. I can go in to my living room, watch the dubbed Axess, come in to my laptop, watch #44, and cry over it's pointlessness.

I don't really care for the massive amount of fillers; however, at least they've tied some of what-appeared-to-be-fillers-at-first-glance together so that it had a purpose (The Jackass system, Auto). But there's so little plot development in each individual episode that it's almost not worth the download.

Just considering the potential that Stream could have had, and what it came out to be, it is kind of dissappointing.

But, we shall keep watching.

Well, there is a fair share of Cyber-Worldage in each episode too. The Navis usually fight in Cyber World first, and if the enemy manages to get into the Human World.... then, we'd have CFing!

Ahh they should skip the .exe series and start to produce a hardcore X series rated M for mature lol, but I honestly dont mind the cross fusion I just watch the series, I always keep in the back of my head that rockman was originally a robot in the real world that helps me to justify all the CF's otherwise I would be pulling my hair out. what i am upset about though is the lack of Forte where the heck is he?

You just might have something there, R_Forte. I mean, for all we know, the whole concept of CF could be one big allusion to the Classic series.

I won't believe she has the Crest until I actually see it. I agree with what Ryouko said a while back during the discussion about episode 38. Meiru can see the meteor because of trying hard...until I see Netto give her the Crest, or someone else, or her hand glow, aint buying it. Laughing

Stream is a completly different story, I don't see how you can compare them, though admittly Axess has a deeper more heart wrenching story towards the end.

That was my point, Axess had a plot that actually went somewhere and had depth to it. In Stream you have a plot that's just barely there. I tend to favor real plot over random filler. I was expecting Stream to follow in Axess' footsteps in regard to plot development and execution, not this one-episode-corny-plot deal.

I don't think I'm making any sense...

The next episode's preview: [spoil:033948d000]Meiru gets a trip to Duo HQ.[/spoil:033948d000]

So, since [spoil:033948d000]Regal[/spoil:033948d000] (and Yuriko) [spoil:033948d000]met Duo before[/spoil:033948d000], would he be Crest'd too?
