I was wondering about all of the rare but good games out there now adays. Please tell what games you think you are rare but you really love or want to play.

For me it's
Psychic Force (Playstation): I find this game to be pretty rare. It doesn't have that good graphics but it's a fun game none the less. Makes me wish psychic force 2 (playstation verson of psychic force 2021) came out to america

Vanguard Bandits (Playstation): Again not 100% sure if it's all that rare but I can't find it anywere else but ebay. It's a good game with good playstation graphics and a great polt

Suikoden (playstation): I do find this once in a while and I really should get it again. I rented it once from my libary and fell in love. Though the game was somewhat easy seeing as I beat it without changing my equipment at all. (I kept buying it but I didn't know how to equip it ^^;; )

Sukoden 2 (playstation): This is rare by any means. I've only seen it once IRL and it was like $200. I mean this game must be really frickin good for that insane prince. Plus i've heard a lot of good news about it ^^

Well, I can say for a fact that Suikoden II is a great game.

I bought it several years ago for like 150 SEK or something... that's like 10-12 Dollars I think. And it's a great game! The Strategy, the characters, and the runes! Oh dear god the runes! They are great.

If you get a chance to buy it... Don't hesitate for a second! Buy it!

I mainly play NES, so I have little knowledge on newer games such as X-Box games. Here are some good, rare NES games:

-Destiny of an Emperor
-Dick Tracy
-Dragon Warrior IV
-Final Fantasy III
-Galaxy 5000
-Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
-Joy Mech Fight
-Just Breed
-Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu
-Nightshade
-Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
-Thrilla's Surfari

I would recommend Final Fantasy II for the NES but I don't know if you'd love or hate the level up system. Basically, take Final Fantasy and give it a Saga Frontier type of level up system (you use physical attacks to build up strength, take damage to gain HP max, use magic to build up intelligence, etc.)

Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1...You can barely find it anywhere, and it's one of the best games out there. The GBA one can't even compare to the PS1's version.

To quote Elec-Hakushaku: EEEYYYYESS! That was one of the best early PS1 Fighting games I ever played. I recall being pretty proficient with Burn, Wendy and Wong.

But anyway, a rare game that should be checked out is Way of the Samurai for PS2. It's a choose your own adventure game where you play as a wandering ronin who comes into a conflict between a samurai family, a rogue clan, a group of downtrodden people and the Meiji Government. There are all kinds of different swords to equip yourself with, each having their own sets of moves. It's a pretty short game, but with multiple endings and sword styles, it's almost never exactly the same twice.

Is it me or does everyone here hate Xbox? I dunno about any rare games right now but "Rare" games:

Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie
The Donkey Kong Country series
and of course: Conker's Bad Fur Day or it's Xbox version: Live and Reloaded.

For a couple good rare puzzle games, try Super Puzzle Fighter II or the Puyo Puyo series. The first and latest Puyo Puyo games aren't as rare, but the rest are pretty hard to come by and they're all definitely worth playing. (I'm not quite sure WHY the Puyo Puyo sequels were never released stateside despite the success of the first, but either way, they're now pretty rare.)

What's the diffrance between the two games??? I'm horrable at trying to rember witch lunar games there are and what order they are in. (in terms of story)

As for the whole libary having games thing it was stoped years ago. So good luck finding one.

And dang it I have a friend who barrowed Suikoden from someone else. I really REALLY should have gotten it at this one game place when I saw it. It was pretty cheap too... I was brain dead or poor that day

Jazz Jackrabbit 1 and 2, a pair of incredible platformer/shooter PC games that seemingly no one has heard of. :puku:

Jazz Jackrabbit (1 & 2)
Rhapsody
Tales of Destiny
Thousand Arms
Legaia (Legends & 2)
Xenogears

mortal kombat got repetitive after 2 until deception

Final Fantasy 7 PS1 version
Contra
Powerstone 2 for the Dreamcast
Megaman III
Gundam Wing Endless Duel for the SNES(J)

There is an X collection coming out so X3 and X4 wont be rare though i have them for ps1 and they were good so was X5 and X6, i wont try to justify X7, but X8 was very good in my opinion.

Metal Slug and Metal Slug X for the Playstation.

It had extra features and mini-games. Too bad the Playstation's worst enemy is 3-D games (Plus, there were an OBSCENE amount of load times.)

Yoshi's Cookie for the Super Nintendo.

That was good puzzle gaming....
