The way you've designed her, she looks like a mix of Manabe and Anetta. She's even got a little bit of Masa thrown in (the fish in her mouth), which of course you did on a whim. (Must have been a pretty boring movie.)

If this is a potential new character, do you have any specific name in mind for her?

Actually I drew it during a long lecture. I can barely see the Manabe and Anetta resemblance. Her name would be umm Melissa?

But first I need to work on character designs and stuff. This is the main character based off of my MSP alias, who I will have to rename to Jiro because I obviously can't keep the other name.

An idea, have you? It definitely looks like a good one.

I love her design and her poses here. She reminds me a lot of a cross between Winry Rockbell and Classic Rockman's Roll. What kind of comic are you thinking about drawing up?

I might start it as a webcomic, but my goal is to pitch to a big company.

Resemblance to Roll? I guess the ribbon is what causes the vague resemblance to her.

Basic Story: An evil organization (leader unknown) uses robots and various henchmen to do their bidding from sleazy business practices to just reckless crimes. They get a bunch of scientists to build a new type of robot under the title Superior Highly Armed Robotic Killer, acroynmed as "S.H.A.R.K.", the first proto-type was quite powerful, but was far too reckless and exploded. A second one was made, but the newer one had gained some sort of conciousness and emotions. So the second one ended up teaming with a woman rogue scientist and they try to escape. In order to do so the SHARK MKII (I'll probably come up with a cooler robot name later) had to get a humanoid body, sadly the scientist had no clue what male anatomy looked like so SHARK MKII was rebuilt as a busty blue haired woman with ruby eyes. So using the alias "Jiro Watanabe" (Watanabe being a very generic last name) they move to a different city and the scientist becomes a college professor and Jiro is one of her students. Unknown to them is the organization is secretly expanding.

Random plots:
Mitsuo (the professor) gets addicted to baked goods made by the evil organization (who used a different company name) and has to find Jiro who is kidnapped. When she arrives on the scene she has to choose whether she wants the cupcake or Jiro's life. If she chooses the cupcake Jiro will die! If she chooses Jiro, no cupcake! The hard thing is the addictants that were in the cupcake so she has more fogged judgement.

Mitsuo is sick and tired of driving Jiro around, and makes her learn how to drive. Included is a parody of Night in the Roxbury for one scene

The school finds out Jiro never took the entrance exam and makes Jiro do it. Meanwhile the evil organzation is planning something.

So that's the basic premise, I had it more extensive at BnG, but you have to register to read it...

Mitsuo is the scientist who help create Jiro a humanoid form and also looks after her like an older sister or something. She's also one of her class professors...

I also included a size comparison chart to show how big certain characters are. And I randomly drew Guts Man while I was making Thunder Head concept art.

Well... seeing how I generally am never able to stick to one series of comic to work on, and I am full of crazy random ideas, along with the occasional commentary, that would be awesome. However, I don't think my drawing style would appeal to the staff seeing how it looks obviously influenced on anime...

Damn I wish Nintendo Power still had artists, then I'd draw junk for their Mega Man pages....
