Spamming

The user "mega" sent me a PM telling me to join his forum because it's better then this one, I believe that is spam.

It's a PM. It's not public. Just discard the message and be done with it. Besides, it's not like a staff person can do something about it, since it wasn't posted publicly.

That's OK.

There is one thing though. If said user is MASS SPAMMING you with PM's of advertisements, then that is a serious problem that should be taken to the admins of the forum.

Actually, PMing someone with a link to join their forum or anything is considered spam, it has happened before.

I believe other users were being affected by 'mega' before on the old forums as well. Me, personally, I've had someone repetitively AIMing me about some forum or other they wanted me to join.

Can I ask if any of you have a link of this forum?

I'd just like to point out that ANYTIME you receive a PM like this, to please notify a mod or admin immediatly. We LIKE to receive reports like this, it's the only way we can stop them.
