|
|
Hello. I was wondering... a friend of mine told me that all three seasons of Rockman.EXE will be coming out on DVD September 14th. Is this a rumor or not? I need to know because I want to get it. It costs $90 dollars and it comes with 15 DVDs spanning all three Rockman.EXE seasons. Can anyone help me prove this? |

Rumor. Sounds like a HK bootleg, actually. _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

Read Izumi's post, it's most likely a Hong Kong Bootleg. They rip you off for your money by selling you HK fansubs, which are usually subtitled by people who don't know english very well (I have Naruto ones given to me by a friend, and they're painful to watch).
The only official DVDs are ones sold either in raw Japanese, or by the english dub Megaman NT Warrior. So far no boxset has been announced for those, the Stream DVDs are not even finished being released yet in Japan. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. OUCH, i feel bad then cuz I got the Naruto Hong Kong ones as well, and I been buying them for like $11 a DVD, got Episode 1-140 and the Movie, but well I could download them online, but that would be a lot of downloading, plus buying DVD's to put them on....but it don't matter, once Viz pumps out the Naruto DVD's, i'll buy them....hopefully if they are kept uncut or have the japanese version on them _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

Hecxz- Yes, the Naruto DVDs that Viz is releasing in December will be bilingual, with an uncut english version, as opposed to the edited vesion that will be on Toonami in September.
Lgacy- They're out. In Japan. I think they made DVDs for all of EXE and AXESS, but if you're talking about the english version, they only made DVDs of the english, edited version.
As for boxsets, Dragonball Z recently did something called "The Dragon Box" which were a sereis of Boxsets that spanned through the entire series, from the beginning of Dragonball to the end of DBZ. If Rockman would do this, is possible, but not known. |

They've been out in Japan for years (well, Stream is current). If you are looking for subbed DVDs, then never because Viz simply does not give two ****s about MM fans. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

Yes, both the original EXE series and Axess were already released in Japan, and Stream is being released as we speak. Each DVD contains 3 episodes... except for the first volumes of EXE, Axess, and Stream (which only contain 2 episodes)... and the final volume of Axess (which contains 4 episodes).
There's 9 volumes for EXE area one (season one), 10 for EXE area two, and 17 for Axess. If Stream ends at 51 episodes, as popularly predicted, then it will also contain 17 volumes, just like Axess did.
As for the English version, MegaMan NT Warrior... they're being released as we speak as well. 6 volumes are currently available with 4 episodes on each volume. You can also buy them in VHS format, but they only contain 3 episodes... and they skip the odd "4th" episode, so you can't acquire the complete dub collection on VHS.
Furthermore, the DVDs for MMNTW only contain English and Spanish language tracks; no original, uncut Japanese version is available. It should also go without saying that the Japanese DVDs are only in Japanese without subtitles. If you find subtitled releases of Rockman EXE, they're unofficial and pretty much illegal, since most of the time, they're fansubs without the original fansubbers' consent.
On another note, which I stress quite often (but doesn't seem to be absorbed as often)... the MMNTW DVDs do contain the Canadian-only episodes that never aired on Kids' WB (or never aired in their entirety, i.e. the episodes that were spliced together specifically for the US version). This means there should be a total of 13 volumes of MMNTW (52 episodes). _________________

Wow. Thanks for the information. How do I get it. I'm only interested in the Japanese ones. It doesn't matter if they have subtitles or not. |

It's fairly unneccessary to quote my entire post, especially when it's the one directly above where you're posting... and even moreso when you're not even saying anything pertaining to the post you quoted.
But, anyway, www.cdjapan.co.jp is a good place to find the DVDs. The site operates in yen, but your bank will automatically convert your USD to yen when you order. _________________

Arigatou.
You just made things so much easier.
EDIT: I checked it out. They have sets of Stream, Axess and the original in sets of 2 episodes. Unbelievable and it costs 40 dollars a DVD. Dang! |

Actually, The NT Warrior DVDs are missing some of the series still, such as episodes 6, 7 and 8. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

The Hong Kong bootleg subs are nowhere nearly as bad as the Hong Kong bootleg DUBS. In those you actually hear two sets of voices: the originals and the dubbed. _________________

All at the same exact time or can you switch between them? Cause if you can toggle them, it's not that bad. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

Wow, it must be really hard to comprehend what they're saying. I can just imagine hearing the plug-in sequences in both languages right now, and it's hurting my brain. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.
