Umm it is Laika in Japan, but in Japan there is no sound for L so it is said as R so Laika is just said as Raika

Unless an official source actually spelled it out with an L, there's no way to know that for sure. I haven't seen any proof of him being called Laika from any sources... |

In the US Dub Napalmman was named Moltanicman. It's a very discussed and very 'polemic' name change people have debated about for a while.

Napalm was used in the Vietnam War. It is a flammable substance that burns on contact, it cannot be washed off. Long story short, it was a tool of war and it was in bomb form.

His name was "Dr. L/Right" in both the English and Japanese originals.

I know what napalm is, I was just wondering why they would change it in the dub, It's probly because all the soccer moms would have a fit if kids starting saying stuff like "Im gonna get Napalm man after you" LOL. I mean they are going to eventually run out of similar names for navis if they change every single one if they fear a soccer mom rebellion. LOL. But some dub changes I guess are neccessary, I think the only changes that should be made are the ones that will violate copyright law like aquaman & god forbid they ever have a navi in the future of Rockman named Batman LOL but technically, thats shademan..... |

Meh... L's and R's are interchangable in the Japanese language. |
Yeah, I know that, but that was a correction for Hikari Angel, since she said Dr. Light's Japanese name in the Original series was Dr. Hikari. |
