Despite the fact that Netto will move away from ACDC in EXE 6, I'm curious to see how this will all turn out. I just hope they don't forget Forte.EXE in EXE 6. He's part of the reason why I enjoy playing Rockman EXE. Fighting Forte.EXE. The rest are storyline, music, characters, and the battle system.

I'm interested to see what navis Netto's new friends will have, who or what shall return from EXE 1 to EXE 5, including Transmission, and this new transformation Rockman.EXE acquired.

Too bad the official Japanese site of Rockman.EXE hasn't updated their site for EXE 6 news, but I do agree it is early to announce the main story, its twists, and any surprises they have in stores for all gamers.

For the anime version, I'm not sure how the EXE 6 plot can link with the anime. Will Netto move away like in the EXE 6 games? Only time will tell.

If it is the Climax of the series maybe in EXE 7 we'll see Rockman transform into Rockman X and have a whoel new series

I think a change is better, to be honest. I'd like to see more new Navis instead of the ones his old friends have. Sure, I don't want the characters to be gone forever, but I'm excited to see how this plays out.

I'l give this game time before I pass judgement. The gameplay might still be good, but the story is shaping up to be craptacular. I can only hope long-distance travel is as quick and frequent in the games as it is in the anime. If not, this might very well be the last of Meiru.

I'm placing my bets on the whole "OMG tis z t3h CliM4xx!!!!!" thing being nothing more than marketing hype. Failing that, I'm placing my second bet on RM.EXE steadily going the way of the classic series, eventually making way for a sequel-series that takes place well in the future (most likely when Netto is a teen).

As for the anime.. well, this is one fine and dandy mess. True, the anime doesn't follow the games that strongly, but the anime does loosely follow the general events of the game. Odds are, Netto's moving in the next series, and odds are, the Cross Fusion Rangers will quickly get phased out, getting stuck coming in on rare occasions, like Yaito.

I agree. I mean, this is Capcom we're talking about. Remember how X6 was supposed to be the last game in the X series? Personally, I'm looking forward to EXE 6, it looks interesting. And about the climax thing; if it takes 5 games to reach the climax, then how long is the falling action/conclusion going to be?

As for the anime, the only thing I'd really like to see is less crossfusing, and Serenade making an appearance.

I wouldn't mine if it's really end here. I just hope that the final storyline isn't screwed up. For the Anime, I doubt Netto would move from Akihara like in game....There's no reason for Anime to follow game especially as you saw lots of different.

Indeed ,Capcom is used to announce false climax ( Biohazard/Resident Evil 4 was supposed to be the last episode of the series too )
And Rockman.EXE has a great success in Japan and USA so there is no reasons to Capcom to stop the series.

As Planty said a page or two ago...

Quote:
cli·max n.
1. The point of greatest intensity or force in an ascending series or progression; a culmination.
2.
a). A series of statements or ideas in an ascending order of rhetorical force or intensity.
b). The final statement in such a series.
3.
a). A moment of great or culminating intensity in a narrative or drama, especially the conclusion of a crisis.
b). The turning point in a plot or dramatic action.

It *could* be the end of EXE GBA, but it also could be its highest point, and not its ending. So, when CAPCOM announced RE4 as the climax of the series, they probably didn't mean the ending of the series. Nobody but them know. It's merely a speculation.

I think Netto moving to a new city is so they don't have to use old navis over and over again.

Plot Device = very yes.

Moving to a new town could, indeed make room for new navis as support cast. However it doesn't necesarily mean the old cast is gonna disappear forever and ever, EXE3 and Dekao come to mind, for example.

Well the anime will probably see this as a chance to make Netto the sole crossfuser again, at the beginning of the series. The others will probably have an ep or two like Enzan and Laika did of coming to help him out.

the kanji for netto translates to "boiling water". However we all know what Capcom was going for Laughing. Saito has no kanji, it is all in katakana. Also, I would say that Saiba is in Katakana, could be mistaken though.

"Boiling Water"? <_<;; Though, apparently it can also be interpreted as "Hot Fighting". Which might suit Netto more. And Saito also has a Kanji spelling - "Icy Fighting". >>

netto's kanji made me laugh at it and everyone laugh at me when i first brought it up else where. but that's not the point.

alot of game companies have very poor sense of humour. yes. and i heard somewhere ( i don't remember if it was here or in one of those gaming magazines or on TV or w/e) where they said the X series was finished at 5 but the team shocked the original designer and continued it. so that's why X's body was destroyed in Zero 3 (it was Zero 3 right? *brain fizzles*)

for all we know, they COULD be ending the series here. allegedly. but the team could just continue it anyway. supposedly.

if they take away enzan and laika my friend and i will be out for their heads....[size=2]nobody messes with our OTPs.... grr....

and you know, they might introduce Slur! :D *is shot repeatedly* i'm j/k...

Enzan was also written out after 8 eps and has barely shown up since.
