I don't think it'll get cut...
Some stuff, like Eneru calling himself a god and stuff will definately be edited, but going as far as cutting an entire 50 something episode arc just because of that seems unlikely to me.

Well I DO have some slightly good news. As most of you probably know, One Piece: Grand Battle is coming out early September for GCN and PS2. the game has 16 playable characters, and 4 unlockable characters. The game is also surprisingly going to be using ENGLISH voices, so this means we'll get to see a lot of characters that have yet to appear in the dub, and even get to hear their voices! Plus, Smoker's multiple cigars, and I think Sanji's cigarette, are both still there, and I think they might even be keeping the original attack names, which will be interesting to hear the english voice actors say. I'm looking forward to this game more and more :D

Mostly because it's the closest thing we'll ever get to an uncut english version. Oh and regarding Eneru, "god" will probably just be changed to something else, but I doubt Skypia will be taken out alltogether. They're probably just skipping Little Gardern because they want to get to Drum Island more quickly. Too bad too, I wanted to hear Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek in english :<

It just seems funny to me that all of Usopp's best moments seem to be getting screwed over. they chopped up his fight with Chu and threw the pieces all over the place, and now they're cutting out Little Garden so we don't get to see Usopp save the day or beat Mr. 5. I don't forsee Usopp and Chopper's fight with Mr. 4 and Miss Merrychristmas going unscathed either, or any of the Alabasta fights, since those are the most brutal and violent battles in the series up to that point.

I'm rather curious about Grand Battle's localization myself. With the exception of Sanji, most of the character voices are at least tolerable in the dub, but it seems that usually the best voices go to the minor characters, like Igaram, so I'm wondering what the new characters like Ener will sound like. Will their voices from the game even carry over to the dub?

Come to think of it, has it been confirmed that the game will be using all the same voices from the dub?

You know I heard the joke about usopp before but like someone said it could be just to get to drum island and chopper quicker. Although how would nami get sick if they cut out that out?

And people say Shopro has no logic. I really, really wish 4Kids would stop making it look like Usopp is just comic relief. It's true he's funny and he's got some questionable choices for weapons. And 4Kids robbing him of that in his fights just further proves that they think we're stupid.

Well let's be honest, did they keep "Live & Learn" during the final battle with Finalhazard in Sonic X? No. The only property that 4Kids ever kept the original soundtrack for was with Pokemon.

As for Ussop, I don't think they're taking away his character develoupment scenes because they wanna make him JUST the comedy relief, otherwise they'd just take out the Captain Kuro arc. I think it's really because most of the times, those scenes end up having a lot of stuff that 4Kids would shy away from alltogether. The battle with Chu in Arlong Park was shortened because of him using the "ketchup star" to make him think he was bleeding, and the episode with Daddy the Father was taken out alltogether because of the use of guns.

As for Little Garden, I think it's because of the same reason they skipped that filler saga with Apiz and the Millenium Dragon, because it wouldn't help them sell stuff. Just recently they started selling the One Piece action figures, trading cards, and soon the video games. They're not gonna sell any Apis action figures, and Mr. 3 isn't in the video games. So they'd rather skip to an arc with Chopper, who will make great merchandising material for the kids, AND will be in the video game if I'm not mistaken.

i like the 5th opening. and we are(all cast version)--where the straw hats sing the song

i like most of the endings. especially fish :D and the latest one.

I like the first 3 opening songs, those are the ones I've heard so far. My favorite ending songs were Before Dawn and Shining Ray.

you should go to arlong park they have most of it. just waiting for the 15th song. the one playing the anime now.

oh totally forgot i also like Tsuki no Taiyou, Freewill ending songs.

I do, that's where I got the MP3s >> I just listen to the opening and ending themes as I watch them in the show, rather than before.

I read the Manga and watch the show. It's not the most inaccurate TV show I've seen.

My favorite character's gotta be Sanji. He's a chef (I want to be achef)... And he's just... cool.
