Well, i was kinda hoping Brightman would have the same voice as he did in Megaman Network Transmission. I guess his voice is ok. Check it out! We need a Brightman smiley snapping his fingers.
Fridgeman? Er... Coldman sounds better but Fridgeman is alright. I thought that they were not changing their voices...
So, this episode was fine. Lan looks like he is 15 without that bandana on, doesn't he?
EDIT: And i laughed at Raika's line about his hat being dirty. _________________ *Join RMNSB!*

Woo-hoo, I'm not the only one who laughed at the "dirty hat" line xD
I'm not exactly sure if Lan looks younger persay without the bandanna, but I do like him without it (that's not to say that I don't like him with it, because I do). I love how he's got nearly the same haircut as Classic Megaman sans helmet xD (And I realize that that is, more than likely ;P, fully intentional)
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention something in my original post. After actually getting to see him somewhere besides the manga, I have to say I like Raoul. And I'll admit a big part of that is because of what he was saying to Laika about duty and such, because I agree with him. Thunderman, on the other hand, scares the living daylights outta me... _________________

Would anybody have a clue on who voiced NovaMan, FridgeMan, and BrightMan? _________________

Well, this doesn't pertain to this morning's episode... since I don't feel like adding just another post that complains about the name changes...
Anyway, if you go to Kids WB's website and go to any of the shows' pages, you'll see that the mugshot line-up along the top has now been changed... and, no, it no longer includes MegaMan. This is most likely going along with the fall line-up where MegaMan is being dropped, as usual.
Interestingly enough, though, even after MegaMan was dropped off the schedule innumerable times in the past, his mugshot remained in the line-up since the show originally debut. Now that it's gone, it makes you wonder when, exactly, MegaMan WILL be back.
The new line-up shows...
Loonatics Unleashed, Coconut Fred, Johnny Test, Xialoin Showdown, The Batman, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and interestingly Viewtiful Joe (which wasn't included in the fall line-up press release). _________________

Viewtiful Joe...? Isn't that a video game? I didn't know there was a show of it...
Will they still be showing The New PET next saturday? Cause if Mega's mug isn't there anymore, then.... _________________ *Join RMNSB!*

Damn, Shopro had a such a good start but they crashed and burned BIG TIME when we got to the battle scene.
Brightman: Love his new voice. Doesn't hold a candle to his original seiyuu. AND THEY KEPT HIS PERSONALITY INTACT! :V I LOVE SHOPRO!
And now I don't.
Coldman: I don't mind the whole Fridgeman thing. It was coming whether we denied it or not. (In fact, Fridgeman is an often used nickname I give him anyways.) His voice is....bearable but c'mon. He's a russian fridge. Where's my Russian Mandril voice?!
Swordman: Well, his default voice kinda works. Sounds a bit too much like Laserman if you ask me.
Starman: Novaman. WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?! His voice is terrible. The worst sounding in the whole damn bunch. This is also where this episode starts dropping the ball here.
The fight: God, it's cut and pasted to the point of most One Piece episodes. And this is just small 5 minute battle. And a battle I hold a lot of sentimental value in. Brightman's emotionless performance when he gets deleted didn't help things either. ShoPro RUINED IT! And I think Ryou would agree with me on that.
All in all: Good start, terrible finish. Love how they handled Brightman, loathe what happened to Starman. Or should I say Novaman? ::bum bum buuuuuum::

Brightman's VA has been listed as Mike Coleman since most of the beginning of the dub. Whether you believe that or not is your decision. But I commend the man who did my beloved crazed spark plug. He did him well. CHECK IT OUT! |

Eh. Yeah. On second thought I guess after have to agree with Bright-Fan's assessment on Star Man's voice. It should have been unique but it was fairly generic.
But..I can deal with it. At least I get to see Star Man's two episodes before the show get's yanked from the line up. Better than nothin. |

...why Novaman? Is there another character named Starman? And they finaly left in a speach thingy! Brightman says "Check it out!" yeah! I didn't know Coldman's name was Fridgeman...I guess I missed that part when I walked out the room. eh, oh well. I liked the episode, I never saw the original. Not bad IMO. _________________ Tsk tsk tsk

Star Man- Super Mario Bros.
Star Man- Earthbound
Star Man- a crappy outdated super hero
Star Man- a movie from the 80s
Nova Man isn't so bad, but I'll laugh if Capcom makes an official Nova Man.
Bright Man kept his check it out line, I am happy. |

I didn't see today's episode but I recorded it.
From the looks of it, thank god Brightman keeps his "Check it out!" line. ^__^

I'm glad they kept Brightman's "check it out" and his quirkiness; too many name changes for my liking though. Also, for some reason, I like Raul better in the dub than I do in the original, heh. =3
Oh well, todays episode was entertaining. It's just too bad WB is cutting the season short. I was hoping they would keep the episode block just to at least finish Axess. _________________ .+.~illusion~.+. |

They cut out Thunderman getting strangled by Brightman's cords. Otherwise, not really anything WB's never done before. >>

They cut out that, but not Lan getting strangled by Videoman? Another lack of logic by ShoPro. |

Yeah but if I remember correctly, they did cut that scene short. So it's not too much of a difference in treatment between the Videoman scene and the Brightman one.... _________________

I don't mind that they cut the Videoman one short, but under that logic, they should have just done the same thing for Brightman. |

My take on "Nebula's Great Invasion"
Brightman: I love how they kept his "check it out" line. His voice suited him perfectly, and they captured his personality very well.
Coldman: Fridgeman...just...wow. And to think, that's what I was thinking they'd name him... His voice isn't as cute as I would have hoped, but it's a tradition for Shopro to screw with the cute navis voices, isn't it? His voice is okay, and the name does suit him.
Starman: Novaman...not really all THAT bad. But the VOICE! It's definately not what I expected. Does sorta suit him though.
Swordman: the voice suited him well. I was somewhat expecting it to sound like that.
Overall: pretty good episode. The name changes and voices were a bit of a shocker, but so are most dub episodes.
Edit: nevermind. I heard Starman talk for more than one line, and it's not as bad as I thought. =_=

Finally we got to see Swordman in action which was nice though he only did about two moves. And I thought Brightman would have at least shown up for a few more eppys but he got deleted pretty quick. _________________
