Saber is a navi of mine, that has undergone quite a few changes.
I did take the hair style from Sting, but he's my character so it doesn't really matter. >: )
He looked like Zero.exe at first so I changed him up...a LOT....

Aaaannnd this is a pic I did for someones birthday.
Oh, and that is a picture of me...without my glasses.. Laughing

Wow you guys make me feel so good inside, what with all the gracious comments... :grr:
Seriously though, I worked on those pictures for quiet a while, and I want some feedback.
Anyhoo, this is just a sketch of Saber with battle wounds....and insanity... Laughing

To Sonic: Your pic is started on! HURRAH! only nitpick I jhave about it so far is that the helmet is way to bland.
To Balmung: I'm going to sprite Protoman Colonel Soul.

You know you posted it on the same day so it may take awhile for you to get comments. Anyway, nice navi. The sword is pretty cool. Kind of like cloud's from FF7 and he does still look like zero a little. Nice job on everything else too.

First of all, I rather like your art style. Very realistic, but still reminiscent of anime.

Anyway, commenting on Saber: I can definitely see why that's his name, what with the huge sword. XD His hair is very nicely done, and I like the armor a lot. My only question, though, is does he have eyes? It just looks like he has two stripes down his face.

Thats his helmet covering his face...If you look at the battle scarred pic he actually does have eyes.

Saber's armor is teh shiz, but I noticed one or two parts actully looks like MC's. : P

Saber's pretty good! Just a couple crits, though:

a) His head looks somewhat detached. Moving his head a bit to the left would fix it--his chin should just be a little bit to the right side of his neck to match up with the shadow.

b) His thighs are kind of thin--with a sword like that, he's got to have some strong legs, eh? (Well, him being data aside...)

On the battle-scarred drawing, even better. However, his shoulder needs to be bigger and his back needs to connect with the shoulder. Also, the line that leads the outline of his chest shouldn't curve so suddenly--in fact, it shouldn't really curve that much until you draw a side view of the thighs.

EDIT: Oh crud, didn't see the comment on the Buster Sword beforehand. -_-;

Hm, well the sword isn't made out of heavy material. Its just energy...something along the lines of plasma, which is super heated air.
I see what you mean about the battle scarred one.

Haha! The self-portrait is good, especially the eyes. Rock on, yo. I'm gonna call you Spikehead from now on. XD

I was going to say Saber's sword looked like Cloud's, but someone already did. I like his helmet style, but I think the hair style looked better with Sting. Sting is of teh awesomeness.

I don't see anything wrong with the battle-scarred pic. Insanity is good.

YES BOOBS! TEH HAWT CHICK IS BIZZACK!

Okay, all horomones aside, it's another good drawing. The only thing I can really complain about is the shading and the visor. The visor starts to curve up too soon and too sharply, and the shading doesn't have too much depth to it. But who am I to complain about shading?

And yes, I did want her to look older in this picture, simply because the picture I showed Jenova as a reference had her looking younger. So I just said "Make her look older" and left it at that. XD

Jenova.exe is probably going to be one of my best works, because it's already starting to look good, and I'm not even finished with the lineart yet. I did have to completely restart the picture, so it'll take another 3 days to finish. It's good that Kobito got such appreciative feedback. I'm looking at you Sonic....
Until my next pixture is done, does anyone have any suggestions for me to draw? I need to practice. Don't worry Sonic, I'll still finish Discman. But don't you have some requests to finish as well? Confused

Tentacle arm! ^__^
I love her armour design, including the two jewels on the kneecaps. Even though she's a mutant, you managed to make her cyber form look really nice.
The navi icon has a creative design. Quee, I love the plaque on her arm. I want a plaque on my arm... it might hurt though. o_O
