This is a one shot about my idea on Mr.Match and Maddy's family origins. Don't complain if the story is boring, because that's the way it's suppose to be!

Family Tales

And unlike my last Fan Fic, this story will be in normal format instead of script format. Plus, this will be a one shot, meaning it will have only one chapter. Now, on with the story!

“This is so boring!” said Maddy as she gazed out her window at the rain.

It was raining quite hard that day in DenTech City. Mr.Match had come by Maddy’s house to take her out, but unfortunately it had started raining, so the date was cancelled and Match stayed at Maddy’s house to wait for the storm to stop. They were both in Maddy’s room, watching WackoMan and TorchMan play on her computer.

WackoMan whined, “Geez, who knew chess was so hard?!”

TorchMan rolled his eyes and said, “Stop complaining and make your move!”

Mr.Match looked over at Maddy who was on her bed and still staring out the window. “ Hey Maddy,” he said, “are you alright?”

Maddy turned around and glared at him. “ No!” she said, obviously annoyed, “Today was suppose to be our first date EVER! We’re not officially boyfriend and girlfriend until we go out on our first date!!”

Match smirked and said, “Who says you’re suppose to go out on a date to ‘officially’ be boyfriend and girlfriend?”

“My sister use to say that,” Maddy replied, “First the Star Pendant incident, and now this…”

Match asked, “You have a sister?”

“Yeah, a twin sister to be exact, but since she’s like a minute older than me, she always bugs me about her being ‘the older sister’.”

“Heh, you’re lucky. I wish I had a brother or sister…”

Maddy stared at him. “You’re an only child?”

Match looked away. “Well… yeah.”

“ Mind telling me some of your family history?”

Match stared at her. “Why you ask?”

Maddy shrugged and said, “Just curious.”

“Then you go first.”

Maddy then complained, “ Huh?! Why ME first?!”

Match smirked again and said, “Because it’s always ladies first!”

Maddy sighed. “Alright.” she said, and began her story.

“ Ok, I was born on Kattlelox Island, which is an island a little bit south of DenTech…”

“Kattlelox? Isn’t that the island with all of those ruins?” Match asked.

“Well yeah,” Maddy said, “Anyways, I lived there until my family and I moved to DenTech, which was when I was about 13. I have an annoying twin sister and an older brother who’s exactly 5 years older than me and my sister.”

“Wait a minute,” Match interrupted, “What do you mean by ‘exactly’?”

Maddy smiled and said, “Me and my sister were born on my brother’s fifth birthday.”

“Weird…… So who’s your sister and brother?”

“My sister’s name is Rala, and she’s kinda like Count Zap.”

“How so?”

“Well, even though she’s my twin sister, she has blonde hair. Plus, she has a female Elec Navi, and an electric guitar and drum set. I really need to get around to introducing her to Zap.”

“Yeah. It sounds like they’d make the perfect couple!”

Maddy nodded, “Yup. Oh, and my brother is Famous.”

Match stared at her and asked, “He is?!”

“Yeah, though he wants me to act like I don’t even know him when we meet so people won’t know that he related to a formed WWW member.”

“Ok then. Go on.”

“Um, well my father is Nakomu Iroaya…”

“Nakomu Iroaya?! The famous fashion designer?!?”

“Yeah, he is. You didn’t know my last name before?”

Match sweat dropped and said, “Well, not really…”

“Uh, so anyways, my grandmother on my father’s side is from Creamland, my grandfather was Electopian, and you already know about my mother.”

Author’s Note: I think of Creamland as France, since France is famous for cheese. ( I think.) Cream, cheese, Cream Cheese! Get it?……… Ok, it wasn’t that funny. Sorry.

Match smiled, “ Yes. Your mother, Lephise, who was the Diva of the Star Pendant, came to the Human World from the Dream World to get away from the evil that was after the Star Pendant.”

Maddy nodded, “She also taught me some of the ancient stories of the Dream World. I still have the books she told the stories with. She went back to the Dream World when I was about 10...”

“NO!!” cried WackoMan,

TorchMan laughed and said, “You’re too easy to beat at chess!”

“Chess is too hard!!” WackoMan whined, “Let’s play Cyber Pinball or something!”

“Fine with me.” said TorchMan as he opened up the Cyber Pinball program on the computer.

“Ok Ken, it’s your turn now.” Maddy said.

Match started acting nervous, because he said, “Wh-what?! Now!? Y-you’re duh-done already?!”

Maddy tilted her head to one side and said, “What‘s the matter Kenichi? Do you have some kind of dark family secret?”

Match sighed and said, “No, let me begin then… Ok, so you already know that my mom was from here, and my dad was from Scotland, right?”

Maddy nodded, “Yes, the Scotland Territory of Kingland. Go on.”

Author’s Note: Another of my EXE geography theories! Now, since most people believe that Kingland is the EXE equivalent of the United Kingdom, ( MOST people, mind you.) I separated Kingland into four territories: England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. Yes, I know that only Northern Ireland is apart of the UK, but I just stuck in all of Ireland into Kingland. Why is only Northern Ireland apart of the UK anyways?

“Well, um… uh… gee, I don’t know how to say the rest…”

“ Oooo! Let me guess, you lived in a cozy cottage in a village there, right?”

Match smirked and said, “Not even close, since I lived in my family’s castle.”

Maddy’s eyes widened, “Really?!”

“Yeah, and it’s the oldest castle in Kingland to date.”

“Soooo, does that make your family the oldest one in Kingland to date, too?”

Match shrugged, “I guess. Anyways, my family also owns most of the local businesses in the towns near the castle, and there are a lot of gho- Er, I mean servants in the castle.”

“Was your family too lazy to do the house work or something? No offence.”

“None taken, and the servants doing the house work just meant that the family had more time to do other things like fishing, painting, stuff like that.”

“Oh, ok. Are there any servants that you remember?”

“Well, most of the servants in the castle were kinda the same, except for the few that I remember. There was Lorei the librarian, Renzo the castle prankster, Shadow the guard dog, Violet the gardener, Zula the caretaker, Naroe the musician, and my Aunt Lillian. There’s also a little fox named Wanu and a bat named Tanga who hung around the castle sometimes, a priest named Xa who lived in the church nearby, the head guard, and five other guards that patrol the halls at night.”

“Wow, so they were guards too?” Maddy asked.

“Yeah, and that’s pretty much everything.” Match said, leaning back in a chair.

Maddy warned him, “You shouldn’t lean the chair like that…”

“Why shouldn’t-” Match had then leaned to chair back so far he fell on the floor.

Maddy giggled and said, “ THAT’S why you shouldn’t lean it back like that!”

Match got up off the floor and smiled at her as he replied, “You knew that was gonna happen right?”

Maddy smiled back and said, “Yup!”

“No! This can’t be happening!!” cried TorchMan.

WackoMan laughed and said, “It IS happening! I beat your high score at Cyber Pinball! Wahoo!”

TorchMan glared at WackoMan as he threatened, “Why I outta-”

Match sat next to Maddy on her bed and said, “Hey Maddy, would you like to go on vacation sometime soon?”

Maddy looked at him and said, “Yeah, a vacation would be nice. To Kattlelox or Scotland?”

Match softly kissed Maddy on her cheek and said, “Maybe not now, since Yahoot’s probably not gonna give us a week off anytime soon.”

Maddy smiled again and said, “You’ve got a good point there.”

And so they both stared out the window, watching the rain fall drop by drop.

Yay. I loved it. Madoi and Hino being together and just having a cute little conversation. And the fact that Meijin is Madoi's brother was ingenius (msp). Meijin Iroaya... Wackoman pwns Firemans arse at pinball.
