BN3, blue version, I let my friend play my file(had the first 5 stars), she didn't save then when i went to play it again well it was down to 1 star some how then odley enough several months later becuase I had refused to work my way back to where I was when I finally decided to work on the game(mainly becuase I had nothing else to do and was home sick.) I noticed that the game had the 5 stars again. It really shocked me when I saw this.

Then a few weeks ago I planned on trading over a bunch of chips from TC to TP and my TC erased itself once I got the chips on it that I wanted from TP. I had already restarted TP and didn't realize this till I went to trade the chips over to have a good folder early on. But to top that of a week later my cousin(well actually just a friend of the family, he grew up calling my mom aunt though we aren't related) Not only stole my Team Protoman but my GBA SP and sold them to someone for $40 cash and $20 worth in weed. He claimed he hadn't seen it since the night before but when we called the cops he told the cop that he stole it and sold it. We kicked him out the next morning. He stole from us when we are poor, we get approximately $1100 a month and only $10 in food stamps and he stole from us when we were letting him stay for free because he WAS LIKE FAMILY!

I'm not sure how it happened, but a few weeks ago, I turned on my copy of Battle Network 2, and all of the data was gone. I had almost completed the library and the data went kaput. I had worked so hard to get all those chips and it just all disappeared! Also, I accidentaly erased a friend's save file on Pokemon Red. She had a lv. 75 Mewtwo in her party before I erased it.

Dunno how it occurred, but one day when I went to play Chrono Cross, the game kept saying there was no CC data even though it was the only memory card I used. I checked to see if there were still files on it and lo and behold there were none - and I couldn't save anything on it. And I had quite a few games on there, including all 5 endings for Vanguard Bandits, completed FF7, FFT, Deception 3, and SO2 [Rena]. ;_;
Well, I enjoyed those games anyway, so I suppose I'll go back to some of them someday, after getting a non 3rd party card [though the one I had actually worked well for a long time. And it's just a regular 15 block card, not one of those funky 110 blocks or whatever ones] >Sad

I have a Chrono Cross related game corruption. I was at Gaea's Naval, and I had no idea what to do, so I brought it over to my cousin's house. He didn't know either, so I brought it home and checked Gamefaqs when I got home. When I went to play the game, I tried to load it and it said "Load Failed." I don't know what happened, but 2 days later the same thing happened with my Final Fantasy IV. Luckily, my files are recovered.

Oh, and on a side note: NEVER SAVE IMPORTANT DATA ON A 3RD PARTY MEMORY CARD. That is really important right there. I had a 3rd Party Memory Card for GameCube, and it deleted everything on itself. Mario Party 5, Sonic Heroes, PSO, Network Transmission...I could go on for hours here. Now I just use 3rd Party Memory Cards to test Action Replay codes.

I had a friend on his Gamecube, it crashed and killed his memory card while he was playing SA2B, he lost all 180 emblems and the ultimate chao he had raised on sonic advanced 2.

Another friend had Phantasy Star online had had been playing it for a grand total of 172 hours and his character was like level 100 something, totall shutdown all items, unlockables and charcters. These aren't friend of a friend things they actually happened to people I know.

I actually had a really awsome first person shooter for N64 called Perfact Dark, I lost all game data for no apparent reason, I did have the guns though because I saved them into my memory card.

Yet another corruption in my family. My other sister who's not ChibiForte was just playing Legend of Zelda Wind Waker in one of her spare files. She came up to me and said "Johnny, I'm at the part of Dragon Roost Island where you have to go see somebody, and when I go there the game gets messed up, I think the door to his room is cursed." Naturally, I was confused, so I followed her to my room. Right on the screen, it said "An error has occured, Please turn off Gmaecube and refer to instruction boklet for details." I figured Okay, no biggie. I turned on the Gamecube again, and we found out all of her Wind Waker files were erased. Luckily, the farthest she was was at the second dungeon, but for her that's the worst corruption she's ever had.

Unirally. Super Nes. One day, when I put the console on, my friend said he saw a flash on TV...
All data had disappeared ! Hundreds of hours erased, many records forgotten, dozens of thumb-aches for nothing... God, I will have nightmares tonight with this

I accidentally erased my Final Fantasy VIII save file when I was deleting files to create more space on the memory card. Just like that, 50 hours worth of playing time was gone in just a few seconds.

Heh.. if my Network Transmission file got erased, I'd laugh!

I have 4 memory cards with 100% files on them. So if one got erased, I wouldn't care. I'd just start a new file and do it again. OR I'd just copy one of the others to the mem card without a file. It's as easy as losing my left toenail.

But, today I got a new corruption. Game? Def Jam Fight for NY.

Me and my friends were getting ready to kick each other asses with our beefed up characters when BAM! My PS2 memory card said it had a Load Failure. I check up what happened and it shows my profile's name and a BIG word saying, "CORRUPTED DATA!!!!!!!" with a redish black shadowing. I got ultra pissed and threw my Memory Card across the room. Luckily, nothing else got deleted.....

It took TOO long to beat Crow/Snoop Dogg!! TOO LONG TO LEVEL UP!!

When we first got SSBM we were playing it alot and at the time had gotten about 3/4ths of the characters and a good deal of trophies. One morning we started the game without the memory card, my brother puts the card in and the game asks if we wanted to create a new file, for some reason I'll never understand he pushed yes and it was all reset, I really chewed him out about it afterwards.

when I was 9 or 10, something like that, my PS memory card would get corrupted and erase my Final Fantasy 8 Files....

The whole summer, I bought MMBN5 ToP and I beat it, got Standard complete, beat the whole game made it to the 2nd to last liberation mission, then while I was sleeping my brother starts a new game and saves over it.... THEN a few weeks later he does it again. A week ago I was trying to S-Rank Napalmman, so I can open the gate in the last Nebula Area. Since I got every S-ranked but Napalmman. So I get up from my bed, then my game makes some wierd noises, and nothing works, so I turn it off and on. Then it says "Press Start" I press it.... then boom, all there is, is New Game.

Just today, I was playing Wind Waker, and I went into Ganon's Tower. Right before I fought Puppet Gannon, when you see the scene of Ganon transforming into him, the game froze. Now, whenever I try to enter Ganon's Tower, I get a disk read error.

Oh yeah, ChibiForte had a glitch on her Pokemon Red that did the same thing. Luckily it's stopped, and now she's only three pokemon away from 150.

My game deletions........ I have many, but i'm going to say a few

1) SMAS+SMW: I beat SMB2 (SMB the lost levels) and a few days later of not using it it gets deleted, it has happened MANY times to me (applies to the other games in that cartdrige as well)

2) PKMN Silver: I bought a GS to get Mew, I acciddentially hit my GS with my bed and the game reset with weird colors, played for a while, reset to return the colors to normal and the save file was corrupted, and my feraligatr was close to LV 100 (Silver was deleted again (completely due to unknown reasons).

3) PKMN Blue: Somehow this game deleted itself twice, atleast I didn't had anything important.

4) PKMN Yellow: ARG! my best stated game I had, my cousin went to play it and she played a new game and saved it, now I use it or glitches.

5) SMRPG: THIS GAME GETS DELETED EVERYTIME I LEAVE IT UNTOUCHED OUTSIDE OF THE SNES FOR A FEW DAYS, I can't tell the exact times it has been deleted because it has been so many times it happened to me.

6) GBA: This wednesday I accidentally hit my GBA and the screen went kapowie, and in the SAME DAY that I finished collecting the 7 stars in EXE 3 >_< to see the GBA click here
