They basically halve all damage dealt to you, and add an element to MegaMan's attributes. Like in the rest of the games, if you are hit with the element that your armor is weak to, then you take double damage.
Each armor, I believe, is worth +6 to your level too. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! From Television City in Hollywood! It's time to 'Press Your Luck!'--Rod Roddy

Ahhh. I didnt really notice the half damage thing. BN1 is possibly the hardest and most aggravating Battle Network. I'm stuck on Elecman's scenario :puku: I hate it. Thanks for the info Midnight. _________________

Elecman's stage is indeed hard, but you can save battery power by saving before trying each battery set-up. That way you don't have to waste power by running around.
Also, stock your folder with plenty of recovery/healing chips. When you're low on HP, get into a battle and kill all but one virus, preferably one that's easy to dodge. Spend time dodging the virus while using as many healing chips as you need.
Hope that helps. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

True..but I like failing at the puzzles. ^_^
As your battery power runs down, you'll notice that you DO heal after battle, just not completely. Just be on your toes, and DON'T get hit by an electric attack, as the residual charges are annoying.
And this is 1500. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! From Television City in Hollywood! It's time to 'Press Your Luck!'--Rod Roddy
