Oh and also did anyone notice [spoil:1b5495b827]DS rock's[/spoil:1b5495b827] buster was blue? Is that a default color or is it a mistake? |

Well, in EXE5 his buster was the same blue as Rockman's buster. So I guess they are trying to make it more like the game or something.

I think he 'loses' the scar to have it 'replaced' on the marks in the mask. I guess it does give it more of a 'you're halfway a digitalized being' feeling to Miyabi. We wouldn't even be able to see it right with the Shadowman mask anyways.

Hmm... I'm not quite sure I agree. Watch Miyabi's henshin. The scar is there, and the mask appears... the scar should still be quite visible, even with the mask, but the scar instantly vanishes. The scar would actually look just fine with the mask. (You can just compare the two screenshots on XHunter17's page that he just linked to... the one of the helmet about the materialize, and the one of it after it did.)

I am not stupid, Crimson Seiko, I did see it vanishing. I just said they probably 'healed' the scar to replace it with the marks on his mask. And unless you're on a close up, you really wouldn't notice the scar on his face. Even if it is Miyabi the 'hosting' body, it still has Shadowman's data overtaking the 'digitalization' of Miyabi -remember how Jasmine's and Pride's hair becomes 'blocky and digital'. And Shadowman has no scars, which is why I think they 'healed' his scar and replaced it with the mask markings, that's all. XP

I was never insulting your intelligence, Plantman... don't get defensive. I'm just saying it doesn't make much sense for a scar to just up and "vanish" like that. The hair thing doesn't seem like much of a concern considering the hair has been getting navi-esque blocky since Netto CrossFused... but hair is quite different matter when compared to a permanent flesh mark.
You're implying that a navi's "skin data" is overlapping that of the human. If that were the case, Dingo's skin tone would change to Tomahawkman's (though arguably the same, Tomahawkman's is lighter) when he fuses... I mean, if a human's physique can be altered because of the navi's data, then why is Nenji still fat when he fuses? Why don't Yuriko or Tesla turn into guys?
I know that the obvious answer to all of this is simply that "they didn't feel like giving him a scar." It's not that big a deal since, you're right, I probably would have never noticed without seeing the henshin. But the fact that the henshin does show it, clear-as-day just... be there one frame and then, *POP*, gone the next... it just makes it really shoddy looking.
And thus hence my original sentiments... "Lame."

I'm wasn't getting defensive, I just did see the sequence already so I didn't need to watch the snapshots as you suggested me as if I had never seen them. That's what I meant, I got the HQ before XHunter did so I had seen the 'scar go poof' already. In that same sense, however, you'll notice that Dingo's ritual marks also disappear when he cross fuses.
It seems whatever markings they have on their face -save for Tesla's moles- they are transferred to the masks of their cross fusion 'data'. I just found it odd you'd complain about Miyabi's but not about Dingo's. As for the scar just vanishing not making sense, How many scarred navis we've actually seen? How did Meiru grow a mile of hair? And so on. Cross fusion does the weirdest things to the people that cross fuse on their bodies. Where did all of Tesla's hair went to and so on.

It was shown in Stream 28 that the helmet can be taken off. So, that "hair" from the helmet is just something transferred from Roll that acts an accesory. :O
I'd like to know what happned to Tesla's hair too. <<;

I just watched the episode, and the highlight of it all in my opinion? Tomahawkman slotting in White Web for Dingo while he was in a panic amidst his fall. LOL factor.
That episode made me like Tesla x Charlie. o___O
The preview looks awesome. Looks like we'll see more of Mariko around, and something bad will happen to Yuriko that caused... er, her teacup to crack.

Sorry. I was insinuating that if you didn't want to open up your episode to check yourself, the screens were right there. As for Dingo's ritual marks, they don't disappear at all. The mask covers them. Miyabi's scar is only very partially covered by the mask... the rest literally vanishes, as we've established.

The hair is part of the helmet, as previously mentioned by someone else. And I'm sure Tesla's hair is just stuffed under the helmet, just like Miyabi's hair. I mean, yes, I agree that there's no rhyme or reason to what Cross Fusion can and can't do to the human, and that when you get down to it, it's just whatever the animators feel like doing... but it doesn't change the fact, though, that the way they decided to get rid of Miyabi's scar just looks really dumb. (And, personally, I think he'd look fine with the scar still in-tact. He looks too much like Shadowman as is... nothing is really indicating he's still Miyabi.)
