I'd actually say Naruto's voice sounds pretty good, but then again we only get to hear him say three words in the preview, and from the sound of it he was cut off.

Now that I think about it, Dave Wittenburg is a perfect choice for Kakashi.

Naruto's voice sounds really, really good. I can't think of a better choice from what I've heard. Iruka is good as well. The voice direction is great thus far.

Naruto sounds childish in the original so...it doesn't really matter now, does it? If you haven't, atleast DL the first sub to get an idea of what you might see unless you'd like to wait instead...which is okay. I think she makes a perfectly good Naruto...even though it was just 3 words...

So far Naruto sounds just like the Japanese counterpart speaking English! Wow! And Iruka don't sound bad either!

everyone always does this. once you seen the original you will hate the dub.

but the preview suits me fine

at least they did not change the bgm for some reason
and they didn't change the names. that is a good start for me

Iruka and Mizuki got some good picks (Even Naruto didn't sound too bad with that one line), and...kunai tabbing into legs...with blood...on the Toonami version ._. WOW. Plus I noticed that Iruka seemed to be pronouncing the names of the characters a bit more like they sound in the Japanese version, like "NAruto" instead of the usual "NaRUto". It would seem that Shopro is REALLY trying to keep it as true to the japanese spirit as possible, which is good. So, despite having to wait longer for the uncut release, the edited version looks like it might not be that bad at all O,O

I know I should ignore them since they're idiots, but when they do it EVERY SINGLE day, you should expect me to snap.

Man.... this is why I wished anime never came here.... or at least they didn't have such a record of bad english dubs.... (Yugioh, BeyBlade, Megaman NT, Dragon Ball Z and GT, Shaman King, One Piece, etc. All in which are really good in their Japan versions, but got utterly KILLED from english controversy)

I honestly hate at how people are trying their very hardest to hate the dub. They complain about Naruto's voice, and how they pronnounced it in the tv show.

Actually... the prounciation of his name does annoy me, but that's because I've been hearing it one way for over three years. That's kinda hard to block out of your mind. It's as if... someone pronouced you name wrong or a friends name wrong the first thing you'd do is jump to correct it.

The voices however... I'm in *love* with. Naruto's voice is right on in my opinion, so is Iruka's. Yay for that \o/

However, I will keep my opinion on the dub neutral till I see *all* of it, including liplines, names for other things, what they may or may not have edited, BGM, what the opening theme is, what the closing theme is (if any) and in all the amount of effort that you can tell was put into the dub. I'm pretty good with dubs, I don't mind the NT Warrior dub and I'll watch the I My Me, Strawberry Eggs dub over the sub.

So, let's hope it's a good screening.

Personally I think that the dub is already being put in a slightly unfair position, considering the uncut version won't be out for a while. Considering what's been left in so far, I can expect the kiss to remain there XD Glad SOME people are being optimisic even about the edited version.
