I think Slur has already made enough of an impression not to come off as a spoiler. XD Cool inks; the cast seems a lot older and for your first inking job this is great; although for some reason Slur looks a little odd. Aren Stover's and Jetman's designs are pretty interesting too. _________________ Better to keep your mouth shut and make people wonder if you are stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. |

The jet mode's part of the request, so it'll be up sooner or later.
Thank you for the comments. ^_^ The only two problems I can spot for Slur is her back and her arm, the one she's lifting up. Her back doesn't connect with her shoulder proportionally and her arm's too short.
....Huh. Yay for me nitpicking my art! I guess it really is true that you're your worst critic.
Whoo, more OT:

Look, and read the commentary to be enlightened on the character.
EDIT: If you're curious as to what a maser cannon is... they're on the tanks used to fight Godzilla.
Incidentally, if anyone wants to see Kouryu and Anryu, I'll draw them. _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |

This is pretty unique Tenryujin. An ink style done in the "old school" technique is pretty rare nowadays. Laika's elongated physique and R-Knightman's expression give this pic quite a different look. I have to say I've hardly ever seen anything like this before, and I like it. Keep it up, and looking forward to more. |

Thank you! Actually, Laika's physique is the way I naturally draw adults--I tend to follow the rules of figure drawing (adult men are 8 heads tall, adult women 7-7 1/2 heads tall, teenagers 5-7 heads tall, etc.), which gives them a slightly realistic appearance (it's been noted on a few past pieces). It's something I've practiced over the past two years. _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |

In the Michael's here, you can find Staedler Pigment pens and individual Micron pens in the pen section, next to the calligraphy pens, yet the brush pens and the Micron pen sets are in the scrapbooking section. Kind of odd...
By the way--are the Micron sets supposed to go for $16? Must be inflation. _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |

I aaplaud you for crosshatching, because thats particularly hard to do..At least for me it is.
You did a nice job, and the inking is fantastic. It looks like a comic book. _________________

Thank you! :V The comic book effect is exactly what I intended for--I've found that inking in the style is rather suiting for my art. Hm, maybe when I get better I could try my hand at sequentials... But where I'm currently at, it's still a long way off.
A little bit of off-beatness from me, but this thread has been around for nearly three months but hasn't gotten that many comments. Feedback is appreciated, critiques even moreso. Surely my art isn't that terrible, is it? Or is it simply a case of 'different strokes for different folks'? _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |

Why are the Cross Fusion people so fun to draw? This one was Soul Calibur-inspired...you can never go wrong with ninjas.
Hm...there's a possibility of an R-Gyroman and/or R-Magnetman next week...maybe. _________________ Hmm... Defenestration is such a fun word. |
