like dark sword make your opponenet have a 50% chance of a miss fire, does that still work with the choas soul union?

First, I didn't know that Dark Sword made your opponent miss 50% of the time. Second, there really shouldn't be this much confusion. When you use Chaos Unison, you just have the chance to keep using the dark chip over and over again without having consequences.

Well being dark was a whole shitload better in bn4 because you had no limit on dark chips. And there were better ones in my opinion.
The only reason I became dark in my ToC is because teh Action Replay screwed it up.
If you are dark though, make sure you get bug charge.
That is the single best chip EVER...Except its accuracy is a little low.
Being dark is fun..So nyah!

I use only 1 Dark Chip and for 1 purpose only. To use Numberball. Since the now Mega Chip in EXE 5's attack value depends on the last 2 digits of your current health, and getting its ATK to its highest value seem difficult to obtain, Dark Chips are the answer for this. I like this chip when powered up by Gyro Soul or Chaos Gyro Soul.

I use 1 Dark Chip on EXE 4 Red Sun just for Numberball, since it gets extra power with Guts Soul. 1 in EXE 5 Team of Blues for Numberball and Gyro Soul.

Sadly I miss using Muramasa Blade, Poison Anubis and Black Wing before EXE 4, but those are the breaks. Besides, since you can't use Dark Chips VS final bosses, I will not risk any of my health drained down by a number of these "powerful chips". Chaos Soul Unison is fine, though.

In 4, I used them all the time.. I never got to use any light chip, the first go round. In BN5, I found Duo very, very hard to beat because my HP is so low, so, I use a DarkChip, then a lightChip in 5, to keep me neutral. But, I use Chaos Unisons quite a bit, thouugh, ad I am quite good at timing the charged attacks. XD

Indeed.

SearchChaos is every fast buster's dream. Especialy when it is fairly easy to correctly time the charged shot for the first two attempts. The third and further...well...it gets rather erratic and is more up to chance. The same applies to BluesChaos, arguably the best two ChaosUnisons in the game. VERY useful for busting viruses or putting a LARGE dent in opposing navis.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DARK SOUL SUCKS!!!!! In order to get in DS you need to smoke the dark chips which as everyone here(I should hope) know what ****ing side-effects they have. If you want to unleash the darkness WITHOUT getting hurt I strongly suggest the Chaos Souls. A little tricky at first but a hell weapon if mastered.

I've only used Dark Chips for the Chaos Unions in Team Colonel. The only CU's I liked were NumberSoul (I don't use the normal version), ShadowSoul, and ToadSoul. Didn't like the other ones...

As for dark PA's, I was able to use [spoil:1eaafdcf96]Big Noise with a ShadeMan DS[/spoil:1eaafdcf96] as regular MegaMan.

im dark in battle network 4. i just use darkchips in free tournament because i get no hp loss! it was easier for me to beat duo dark in super hard mode that it was being light. static can stun duo! who knew?!

in battle net 5 im light only for chaos unison. isint it funny, i can unison with DARKchips, but i cant if im TOO DARK to do so. -_-;

look into the battlenetwork 6 stratigy guide, youll in the dark chips there is an added effect besides the 1 HP loss and the glitch you get in battle.

If your enemy survives they also get a glitch, if you dont beleave me then check you local game store!

my question is do the second effects of the dark chips still happen with the choas soul unions?

youll see what I mean if you temporary go dark and use it on an enemy who lives.

Well I'm no Dark user myself, so I haven't experienced such effects like Exion described.

For the Chaos Blues Soul using his Dark Sword compared to
Dark Rockman using his Dark Sword, I don't see any sort of glitch to the enemy who survived the strike. I used Chaos Blues Soul against Forte and Searchman, and they don't seem to be glitched at all.

ok..for those who are trying to see what Im talking about you have to be dark soul, not any choas unions.
dark sword may not show anything but check the dark chip anywhere, they should have an effect on the surviving opponenets
