I wanted to know which version you prefer : manga or anime?
For me, manga is much more : more fun, more action, Clamp drawings, and the relation between Shaolan and Sakura is so much deeper...

I prefer the manga more. The manga has a longer story line when the anime is only 26 episodes. And the manga has cute drawings of the characters. Like you said, it has more about Syaoron and Sakura's realtionship than the anime.

But then anime is also good in a different way. The theme songs are really nice. My most favorite is BLAZE. ^^

Well, it seems that the anime will be longer than 26 eps. According to some sources, there will be 3 seasons, each with 26 eps. Nevertheless, season 2 would only arrive by April 2006

If you like Blaze, then listen to Aerial, the opening of the movie of Tsubasa Chronicles. It's cool too, even more.

I've read the manga and seen only one episode, but I tend to cling to the manga version more than the anime version of anime.. Except for CCS, since the anime explained more about how she became the CardCaptor.

But then again, both have beautiful artwork. Manga still ranks higher in my book.

Really? I haven't checked some info about Tsubasa in a while, so I haven't heard that there will be more seasons or not.

I haven't seen any Tsubasa but I heard about the second season a month or so ago. They are reairing a season of CCS then going to show the second season. Or at least that is what I read on AnimeFringe.

So far the manga rules. I have all the ones that are out here in the states so far. My personal favorite part of reading the manga is reading all of the weird suffixes Fai comes up with for Kurogane.[spoil:69301c4682]Kuro woof woof[/spoil:69301c4682] is so far my favorite one.

Ugh, the anime is terrible. I gave up halfway through the first season. But I still really like the manga. The anime is much too slow and just isn't as funny.

I think the differences between manga and anime were made for the worst. The anime wants to make Sakura "cool", but she looks too powerful, not the cute girl we know. And yeah, it is too slow.
Moreover, I miss in the anime the SD scenes of the manga, and above all the jokes Mokona does in the background of every page.

Sorry if im acting like a newbie(I am one, trust me), but what is Tsubasa about? When I heard the names, I thought CCS. Are they related in any way?

There is a good reason the names make you think CCS. Tsubasa is a major Clamp cross over manga/anime. Seriously two of the main characters are from CCS, then there is Kurogane who I think is from Peacemaker Kurogane. Then Fai D flowrite who has some connection with an AU version of Chi, and some other Clamp character.

Tsubasa is just a weird concept, almost seems like something a fanfic writer would come up with. I mean Syaoran, Sakura, Mokona(little odd animal thing from xxxHolic) and Kurogane rolled into one story. It also has charaters from X and some other clamp series spread throughout the volumes.

It is just an AU were with tonnes of diferent realities. I don't want to spoil it for you so I won't mention any of the different worlds they've been to so far in the Manga except for the first one shown. CLow yes Clow is a desert kingdom in Tsubasa and Sakura is the princess. Syaoran is the son of an archiologist. But sadly enough No Keroberos, well none yet.

The Manga is really good and from the sounds of things better than the Anime. It has an enteresting plot, and some funny stuff happens between two of the main characters.

Actually I believe Mokona is from Magic Knight Rayearth. xxxHolic is also very similar to a Clamp crossover, since it does directly tie into Tsubasa.. ^^;

At least in the back of the mangas(well, the english ones, I don't know about the other versions) they tell you where things are from, like characters and locations, and little translation notes with explinations of why things are written the way they are.
