I have always been wondering the meanings behind those symbols. I know it's something like their family crest but I also wonder if those designs resembles anything. All i can think off at the moment is Blue's crest = Enzans hair ) |

Maybe for more of an ID purpose,every Navi needs some sort of ID to travel the web justlike people need an ID for real life.I think They symbols are Navi Id's to tell them who they are and what op they have _________________ Xbox Live Gamertag username:

That is a good Idea but only Custom Navi's have symbols, generic navi's do not. I think the sybol has several purposes. ID of course but it also can represent their abilities, for example the pink part of Rolls is a heart. Videoman's is a Play button. But I think they are just there to make the navi's stand out compared to their Classic counter parts evenmore. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

i think the symboles are there to relate them to their operator. Like fireman, heatman and flamman all have the same symbole because that symbole belongs to Match. If lets say Maddy gets a new navi the symbole would be the same. |

But then there's Meijin/Mr.Famous.
Pretty sure his navi's didn't all have the same symbol. |

There is some significance to most Navis' icons.
Roll = My guess is it's supposed to be part of a heart
Fireman, Heatman, Flameman = Already explained
Elecman = I think it's supposed to be some kind of electrode
Iceman = My guess is it's a snowflake
Sharkman = It looks like the underside of a shark
Skullman = It looks like a skull
Woodman = I'm guessing it's the cross section of a tree trunk
Numberman = It's a right-angle triangle. Those of you who've studied trigonometry can understand this.
Brightman = It's a shining light.
Needleman = It's a needle point.
Swordman = It's the tip of a sword.
Gravityman = I think it's some kind of gravity field or something.
Starman = A star.
Airman = It's a tornado. 'nuff said.
Quickman = It's a boomerang and Quickman's weapons are boomerangs
Cutman = It's a C. Cutman's name begins with C.
Shadowman = His icon is a shuriken.
Magnetman = Red & blue stripes. Classic bar magnets are red & blue representing each pole
Freezeman = I believe it's an ice crystal
Thunderman = His icon is a bolt of lightning
Gateman = It looks like the gate on his chest.
Toadman = It's a frog's head.
Pharaohman = The eye was one of the Ancient Egyptan hiereoglyphs.
Planetman = It looks like two moons orbiting a planet.
Kingman = His icon is a crown.
Bowlman = His icon is a bowling ball (complete with three holes)
Metalman = His icon is a metal gear.
Flashman = I believe it's a flash of light
Beastman = His icon is three claw marks.
Bubbleman = His icon is three bubbles.
Desertman = It's sand.
Plantman = I think it's some kind of blossom
Drillman = It's a close-up of the side of a drill
Turboman = It's a wheel.
Ring = It's a ring.
Shademan = His icon is a pair of fangs.
Laserman = His icon is the visible light spectrum. When light hits a prism, it splits into seven different colors.
Kendoman = His icon is the mask he wears
Videoman = It's the symbol found on the PLAY button of any TV remote, VCR, DVD player, stereo, etc.
Sparkman = Two crossed electrodes, which ressemble his arms.
Aquaman = I believe it's a wave.
Windman = It's a gust of wind.
Burnerman = It's a flame very similar to the ones coming out of his jets.
Searchman = His icon is a set of crosshairs.
Coldman = Like Cutman, his icon is also a C; the first letter in his name.
Gyroman = A set of helicopter blades
Tomahawkman = His icon is an eagle. If you look at Native American totem poles, carvings, etc., you'll notice the eagle comes up quite a lot.
Medi = Her icon is two capsules crossed to look like an angled Red Cross.
Blizzardman = A snowman
Cloudman = A cloud
Swallowman = A bird
Footman = A football
Forte = (see Forte's backstory)
Prisman = Recall my Laserman explanation. His icon is the mentioned prism.
Sanukiman = His icon is a bowl of noodles.
If there are any that I didn't list, it's most likely because I didn't know their significance. _________________

From what my friend and I have thought, the navi Symbol is where all the vital information is kept inside the Navi. Example 1: In EXE Rock's frame was incomplete without the Symbol, and Yuuichirou said it was just his frame there. Example 2: In Axess, when Netto's/Rock's symbol is shattered it breaks the PET (and Rock). Example 3: In Stream, [spoil:1f083e5621]after Netto/Rock is hit in the Navi symbol by Cosmoman, it breaks his syncro chip o-o;;[/spoil:1f083e5621]. _________________

I believe that the two parts in RockMan's Navi symbol represents that he and Netto are twins. What do you think? _________________

That may be, but then again ANY bilaterally symmetrical icon would have sufficed if that is all the icon implied. There must be something deeper about it...but as of now, no information really presents itself to draw any further conclusions. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! JunkmanSP, I think you have a good idea there. His symbol is an inlarged section of a red and black soccerball. |

In the manga sidestory, Forte's icon was the musical symbol for forte. Fufufu.
Now that I think about it, Netto's homepage warp was a soccerball in EXE 4, I think. He's had a couple of soccerballs before too. Along with some Heatguts toys XD _________________

why would it look like an soccer symbol when its use by scilab, the symbol isnt made only for rockman and netto. (spoiler)Somewhere in Rockman EXE you can see an battle chip charger in the bottom left you can see rockman's symbol, so my thought over the symbol is still that the symbol stands for the labs... :V _________________ Time to take over the net---*MwhahahahA |

My guess is that it's the Hikari family symbol or something. _________________

The soccerball is really good idea through.
Both Rockman and Netto like soccer.
For example, in EXE 4/5, Netto's HP's background is soccer.
And so the banners when we link the pages.
The symbol isn't related to the lab.
It does relate to Yuuchirou, which wear it to show a connection to Rockman.
anyway, he did it for Netto himself, not for a lab project. So Rockman doesn't related to the labs at all.
Maybe he just choose it because he put something that will show something that both of them like.
As Meiru and Roll both love 'someone' (=P) the heart is connected.
Now, for my own question.
Why does Roll has a play button like Videoman's on her antenna? _________________

Those who've studied trigonometry? I've known what a right-angle triangle was since grade school...
Netto has been all about soccer since the very first EXE game, though he never talks about it or anything. In the anime, it wasn't until Stream 43 that he ever played it (though Rockman played net-soccer in Stream 1).
It's very possible that the idea could have originally sparked from a soccer ball. Remember that Capcom pretty much writes this stuff as they go. When designing Netto and Rockman, they could have come up with the soccer ball idea, modified it like so, decided it looked good, and made it the Hikari family symbol. It doesn't need to have any meaning anymore... the soccer ball origin is just simply the source of their idea. _________________
