Hey. I start school today *oh noes* and I won't be able to update till tonite...if even that. It'll be hard for me to find time to update what with school and marching band...I'm sorry and please be patient. I'm also putting this message on my other fic...once again I'm so very sorry and I'll update as soon as I am able.

Chapter Twenty One: [insert chapter here]

Fuyuki and Netto stayed after Katya's birthday party to help Katya clean up the mess in her backyard. Katya was working on fixing the paintball gun Enzan broke as Netto and Fuyuki goofed off and shot each other. "What the hell did Enzan do to this thing! It's totally screwed up!" Katya said loudly. Netto turned to answer and Fuyuki siezed the oppertunity to shoot him in the head.

"OW!" Netto complained, firing a few paintballs back at his brother. Katya ducked as a few rogue paintballs flew close.

"Hey give it a rest!" she said, annoyed. "I don't have my helmet on!" Fuyuki reluctantly flicked the safety switch on his gun and sat down on the ground next to Katya. She had begun to dissect the paintball gun that Enzan destroyed.

"How did he manage to shoot the gun...with the gun?" Fuyuki asked, sighing. Katya shrugged.

"No one will ever know..."

"What's that do?" Netto asked, leaning on Katya's shoulder and pointing to a green flashing light inside of the gun. Katya sighed and smiled.

"I don't know yet...hey!" Netto reached out and poked the light. The gun started to beep loudly, the high pitched noise echoing throughout the forest that they were in. "Good going Netto," Katya said, dropping the gun and covering her ears, annoyed.

"Whoops..." Netto said sheepishly. The gun flashed red for a split second.

"OHMYGOD these have SELF FREAKING DESTRUCTS?" Fuyuki stood up and backed away from the gun, staring at it in disbelief.

"I'm not gonna stick around to find out!" Netto said, grabbing Katya's hat off of her head, putting it on, and running away from the area. Katya and Fuyuki grabbed the remaining paintball guns and followed Netto out of the trees.

There was a huge bang and smoke rose from the middle of the forest.

"Good job Netto...you blew up a paintball gun!" Fuyuki said, staring back at the place where they were a few seconds ago with a grin on his face. Netto gave him an evil look but didn't say anything, as he was busy keeping Katya's hat from her. The paintball guns were scattered around where Katya and Fuyuki had just thrown them.

"Gimmie that!" Katya squealed, jumping for her hat. Netto was holding it over his head. He's really grown...I just realized that he's at least four inches taller then Katya. A few summers ago they were really close in height... Rockman sighed. I blinked. Woah...

"Um...hi?" When did Rockman drop in? He smiled at my confused expression and I sat down next to him on the floor of the PET. Eh...oh well.

"It's close to midnight..." Rockman stated, trying to make conversation. I sighed.

"Katya...you'd better head inside...Katya...Katya...Katya..." I kept repeating her name in a monotone voice until she yelled for me to shut up. Netto slapped the hat on her head and pulled it over her eyes and Fuyuki stole Rockman's PET. Rockman sighed, returned to his device, and I sat and watched Netto chase Fuyuki around Katya and my backyard. Katya pushed her hat up out of her eyes and let out a sigh as Netto tripped and fell flat on his face.

"I don't know if it's a good idea to have a camp out tonight...," she said to me.

"I told you they'd be insanely hyper," I said with an 'if you would have listened to me in the first place...' tone to my voice. Katya made a face at my comment and gathered her paintball guns. She started walking back inside and Fuyuki pretended to throw Rockman's PET at her. Netto grabbed the blue device from his brother and reached for Starman's PET, but Fuyuki bolted past him and ran after Katya, forcing Netto to follow.

"Muwahaha!" Katya said, holding up a flaming stick. She had started a fire in the middle of the yard and was preparing the sticks for roasting marshmallows

"Put it out you pyro," I said. I'm soo bored...

"Aww lighten up will ya?" Katya said, shaking the stick so the fire went out. I sighed, wishing something exciting would happen. A few minutes la\ter something did.

Netto and Fuyuki were inside of the house...Katya went in and was trying to make them come outside when it started pouring down rain. "You still wanna go outside?" Fuyuki asked Katya.

"Yup." The older boy gave Katya a look that said 'stay away from me you insane freak.' Katya stuck out her tongue at him and the power went out. "Well that's nice," Katya said sarcastically, pushing a button on my PET that activated a small flashlight she had programed into the device. The power flashed on and back off. "Cyclone, the rain couldn't have knocked out the power," Katya said to me. "There's no lightning or wind." I nodded.

"I'll check the security system and home computers," I replied. Meh. I think I know what the problem is...

End Chapter 21.

Damn...oh well, take your time. I have an idea, though! How about [spoil:8756e46e38]The power goes out due to a Storm navi named Blackout, and whatever he does in the cyberworld can affect the real world somehow. Like he creates a cyber-thunderstorm, and a real thunderstorm appears in the real world. either way, Cyclone, Starman, and Rockman have to fight him. He's insanely powerful, but either one of the navis discovers a new power, or a new ally shows up and helps delete him.[/spoil:8756e46e38] That's just an idea from me. Well, hope you do well with your schoolwork. Man, I hate that stuff.

Okay. Thanks for the suggestion CFS...I'll just write and see what happens. Um...this is gonna end in the chapter that I'm about to post, and it shall continue in a sequal...an awesome-o sequal that I will post as soon as I'm done with my Sonic/Rockman Crossova lol.

Chapter Twenty Three: Storm Surge

And so I Plugged Cyclone into practically all of the stuff we own. The stove...oven...tv...furnace...blah...blah...blah... Rockman and Netto checked the computer in my room and Fuyuki and Starman helped me check all of the appliances we randomly have in the house that have a Plug in port. Nothing. "Got anything else?" Fuyuki asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, once it was clear that there was absolutely nothing in the systems we had checked. Hey...it's not my fault all of the crap we have is computerised!

"As a matter of fact," I said, "we do have one more thing." Netto and Fuyuki exchanged glances that said 'will this neva end...' I decided to ignore that and proceeded to the living room where I opened up a small squareular (is that a word? eh...now it is) pannel on the cream colored wall. "Plug In Cyclone," I said, and she left her PET for the thousandth time.

"Looks pretty clear...," my navi said. She sounded as disappointed as I felt. Then...maybe it was the storm. Damn...

"OMFG!" Fuyuki said, throwing his arms up in the air. "We just checked every single flippin thing in this house...for nothing?!?" I didn't answer, as I was scanning the area Cyclone was in from the image shown on my PET. "Hello!"

"Shut up for a minute," I murmured. I could see Fuyuki shoot Netto a warning glance out of the corner of my eye and his brother's giggles subsided almost instantly, though the laughter didn't leave his brown eyes. "Cyclone, look closely at the pannels..."

"Eh?"

"The pannels, you know, at your feet."

"Oh...uh...?" Cyclone scanned the floor with suspicion. She flicked her goggles into infared. "I...I don't see...?!?" The expression on Cyclone's face changed almost instantly and she flicked her goggles back to normal setting. "That wasn't there before, was it?" I looked over toward Fuyuki and Netto and they sighed, pulling out their PETs reluctantly and plugging in their navis.

"So, what'd you find," Starman asked Cyclone, walking up behind her with Rockman close behind. Cyclone pointed at the pannels at their feet.

"The pattern's all screwy. See..it's supposed to be blue, red, black. But..."

"Oh, I see it now," Rockman murmured, leaning closer to the pannels. There were two black squares flashing next to each other.

"It could just be a glitch caused by the power surge," Starman said. Cyclone shook her head.

"Nope. I'm sure it's not." Starman looked at her questioningly, but before he could say anything Rockman sighed loudly.

"Okay...say you're right. What now?" He and Starman stared at Cyclone. My navi sweatdropped and swallowed.

"Um...I...dunno?" she stuttered sheepishly. Rockman and Starman rolled their eyes.

"Then why don't you touch it?"

"Eh?" All three of the navis were immediately on their guard at the sound of the familiar voice.

"Why don't you touch the pannel?" Forte chuckled and appeared beside the two black squares.

"No way in hell!" Cyclone said, her right hand taking the shape of her gray buster. Forte smirked and took a couple of steps toward the three navis, stopping between them and the corrupted pannel.

"It's the only way," he said, obviously thououghly enjoying this. Starman coughed, trying to cover his snort that said 'cha...right.' Forte's gaze flickered in Starman's direction for a brief moment, then he disappeared.

"He-"

"Touch it." Cyclone stared at the pannel for a few seconds. I could tell what she was thinking...and I didn't like it.

"You don't have to touch-"

"Yeah I do." I sighed as she reached out toward the black square. Rockman and Starman held their breath and Cyclone's hand hovered over the square for a moment...then...she pressed her palm down firmly in the center of the flashing black pannel.

Netto, Fuyuki and I shielded our eyes from the bright silver light that filled the room...then the sound of the rain outside stopped. The feeling of the PET in my hand dissipated. Nothing...

End Chapter 23.
