Actually. The first dog sent into space was named Laika, and female. It died in space. ;_;
Wikipedia has an article on it. Search 'Laika'. >_>

I know that Alpha was originally Proto, but as for any others... I think they have all been said. I wish they had not changed names like Metalman though... what was that about. Or Windman. I cannot think of a super-hero called that. Oh well, live and let live.

| almost all of the navi re-names are ridicoulous. its supposed to be a cartoon/anime... not a politically correct talk-show. those editors really need to live a little. i do admire their originality, but they go WAY overboard. |
