A/N: Aside from "A Net Savior's Life" I'll be using myself in this story more around the EXE universe. Other than using my Navi ForteZero.EXE *hears constant torrent of cursing from said Navi*... uhh...

David: *smacks duct tape over his Navi's mouth* On with the show! *carries his Navi off after tying him up with ropes and chains* Beware though, some bad language. Nothing you already heard from other people though... PG-13. Oh yeah, I don't own RockMan EXE, Gareth and Berkana (RockMan X characters) or anyone else mentioned in this fic, Capcom does... but I do own myself and my tied up Navi ForteZero.

Chapter One

It was just a regular day in DenTech City. People minding their own business, tending to their daily life, random virus attacks taken care by the Officials. Yes, it was just a regular day for people, but a new Net Battler has come to town. He has already settled in, and his mother was rearranging the stuff around while he stepped out to get used to the new neighborhood. It was around in the afternoon, close to five o'clock.

"So, the Navi we chased from Netopia is here?" said a young boy who seems to be in his preteen years turning thirteen in two weeks.

"Yes, we can sence the presence of him as we speak. Crap, I just lost the signal..." said a young woman's voice.

"Oh well, we'll find him sooner or later. For now, we just worry about what school I'll be attending to... hope mom took care of that," said the kid, as he crossed a street after looking both ways. Recently, a huge fire occured in his home at Netopia, and he and his mother moved to Electopia not only because of increased crime, but because he was looking for the Navi responible for killing his father -- his dad died in the fire. After what happened with the incindent, he was given the title of Official after the funural. He swore that he would avenge his father's death.

"You already passed sixth grade. Summer's almost around the corner. For now, your mother just needs you to "finish" your last days of class," the young woman said.

"I gotten an email from Mrs. Abbott, she got you the transfer to DenTech Jr. High," a man's voice sounded.

"Alright then... wonder where that park is?"

He began looking around the neighborhood, until he spotted a park. Looking around, it was peaceful, atleast until a fish vedor came up on a bike. After being forced to buy some fish from the calcium lover -- free fish since he just moved in thankfully -- and when he vanished over the hill, he spotted a trashcan and dumped it; he hates fish. He walked through the park for a couple of minutes until he spotted some kids his age. A somewhat large boy with a fin hair like style, a headband wearing boy with brown hair, a kid who wore a sweater with chestnut colored hair, and two girls. One was short with yellow hair, and the other had strawberry pink hair. Gathering up the courage, he walked up to them.

"I beat you again Dex," Lan said. The larger boy only huffed, until a clearing of someone's throat directed their attention to a kid who walked up to them. The kid was the same height as Lan. His hair was a bit long in some places, and was jet black, except for a strand of hair between his eyes that were a shade of blue. His brown eyes were slightly peircing, but he was smiling. He wore faded jeans with black and white sneakers. He wore a crimson red shirt and a black vest, unzipped. They noticed a scar on his forehead, it was something like a burn, but it was shaped like an X or something.

"Umm, hello. My name is David. I just moved here today," he said.

"Oh yeah, I saw the moving vans pass my house an hour ago. The name's Lan," Lan said, offering his hand to David, who shook it.

"I'm Maylu," the girl said next.

"I'm Yai, hairest to Gabcom."

"I'm Tory."

"And my name's Dex," the big kid said, "Since your new, how about your first Net Battle?" He said, as he jacked in GutsMan to a nearby lamp post. David yawned a bit.

"Sure thing," David said as he took out two PETs, catching the attention of the others, "Jack in!! Gareth and Berkana, power up!"

Two streams of light shot down, and desposited two Navis. The first was floating in the air. She wore a large purple dress with yellow on the bottom tips. Her helmet had a large blue crystal in it and her blonde hair poked out from behind it. She was holding a wand of some sort. The second, who looked like a knight, stood on the ground. He had a mask covering his face. It, along with the rest of his armor, was gray. The helmet had three purple lines on it and a long, flowing cape flapped in the cyberwind behind him. The Navi's mouth was all that could be seen.

"These are my Navis, Berkana and Gareth." They gasped. They never met anyone who had two Navis.

"Berkana, you can battle, I'll sit at the side lines," Gareth said. Berkana smiled before flying out to the battlefield.

Battle Start!

"Blade Saw!" She raised her staff, and an energy disc that was already spinning appeared, before she shot it out towards the lumbering gorilla like Navi. GutsMan pounded his fists against his chest before punching it. He blocked the attack, but it damaged him in the process. GutsMan morphed his hands into a hammer and struck the ground, sending a shockwave. It passed under her, heading over to Gareth. A shield suddenly appeared and he blocked the stray attack.

"GutsImpact Battlechip in, download!" GutsMan's right fist grew three times larger before he rushed in to punch the floating Navi. Berkana smiled before she took flight to higher grounds. GutsMan's punch missed, as he toppled over.

"Deep Impact!" She rushed down and smacked her staff hard onto GutsMan. Dex was growling, since the Deep Impact attack made a deep cut in GutsMan's HP.

"Try this on for size, TimeBomb Battlechip in, triple download!" GutsMan discarded the punch chip, and fused three bombs together, forming the TimeBomb+ Program Advance.

"TimeBomb+!" He threw it with all his might at Berkana. David smirked, as he grabbed a Battlechip with quick speed, and downloaded Barrier to his Navi without even announcing his chip. The flying female smiled as the TimeBomb+ struck the side of a barrier. She grabbed it when it reached 2, and with speeds equalling GutsMan, threw it back. It detonated before reaching zero, as GutsMan suffered high damage.

GUTSMAN LOGGING OUT

Dex was really mad that a 'novice' beaten him quickly. He wanted to pound the new guy, but he held back, and only said, "Nice Battle." David smirked before logging out his two Navis. It was a fast battle, just three minutes shorter than MegaMan's last Net Battle with GutsMan.

"Would you guys want to come over to my house?" David asked. They all agreeded and followed after the black haired boy.

It was three minutes later, they arived at David's new home. The moving vans were already gone, and his mother had already settled in.

"Mom, I'm home, and I brought along new friends," he said. His mother came out, and greeted his new friends.

"Oh, you made friends already? Will they be staying for lunch?" David looked over at his new friends, and they aggreed on staying for lunch. "Wonderful, hope they like curry." She then walked back into the kitchen. Lan started drooling at the word curry until Maylu whispered to him not to drool in someone's new home.

"Follow me guys." He went upstairs after dumping his shoes at the front door. They entered his room, which was fairly large. There was a poster they saw hanging next to the computer. It was made by hand when they looked at it There were art drawings of Lan and MegaMan and Chaud and ProtoMan facing eachother in an all-out battle. Floating above them, was Bass. His helmet was gone, and he had something that looked like dark purple hair. On the right corner of Bass was Gareth, as opposed was Berkana. His computer was the Windows XP version, where everyone jacked in their NetNavis. He even had a second floor patio, where David opened the door to let a cool breeze of wind enter. His bed was large, which had the icons of his Navis on it against a dark blue background. There were some Battlechips on his desk, and some work papers. He had a large bookcase filled with books, one shelf had a row of mangas, the third had made figures of different styled virus cosplay Mettaurs.

Inside David's HP, Berkana just finished placing some links before she floated over to the others.

"We haven't introduced ourselves yet, I'm MegaMan, Lan's operator."

"I'm Maylu's Navi Roll."

"I'm Glyde, very nice to meet you," the butler Navi said in his polite voice.

"I'm IceMan," the eskimo said.

"Your kinda cute IceMan," Berkana said, making the midget Navi blush.

"Name's GutsMan, guts."

"I'm Berkana, and his name is Gareth," the female floating Navi said. The knight Navi only bowed to them.

"So David, where did you guys move from?"

"From Netopia. My mother came from Electopia, and my father... he was from Netopia," David said.

"What about that scar on your face?" Dex said a bit loud. Yai elbowed him in the ribs. David tensed up a bit.

"Well... I got this during a fire." They noticed a story was coming so they sat down to listen. "Three weeks ago, there was a massive fire and my house was burned. My father saved me from a burning house beam, but he paid for it with his life," he said, a tear escaping his eye.

FLASHBACK

At a neighborhood, we see a house with black smoke billowing up into the air. Firefighters are trying to put out the flames, but the fire was getting worst every second. Spectators were crowding to look on, while police baracaded them away from the scene. Inside, there was a kid with black hair choaking on the smoke. He was trying his best to find a way out, until a support beam gave way and collapsed on him. He was trapped. He turned on his back and tried to push the beam away. The shock caused a heated object that looked like an X fell down off a burning shelf, and it struck him on the forehead, causing him to scream out in pain. He blacked out.

Three hours later, he woke up in the Netopian Hospital, with his mother at his side. The kid got up and asked where father was, and all she could do was look away with tears. It hit him there and then that he didn't make it, that he lost the one person who was important in his life.

END FLASHBACK

"After his funeral, I was given his Offical badge and title. From what they told me, if anything happened to my dad, I was to carry on his duty of being an Official, hence the paper work you see on the desk." Lan looked over to the pile of small paperwork, then turned back. Their Navis were listening in.

"Gareth and I did all we could to cheer him up. He still gets sad over his father's death, but with us, he gets along fine with life. We moved here after the funeral, because of some increase in crime ratings. Mrs. Abbott was worried for her son so she decided the move. The cause of the fire were a band of evil NetNavis that wanted revenge against his father. It was all we knew of based on the information we obtained."

"Wow... were sorry," Lan said. David held a hand to him.

"I know... I got that scar from the fire. A metal X like object was heated to high temprature readings, when it fell off this top shelf, it burned on my forehead. It hurt like heck alot, but I got used to it..."

"David, lunch is ready," They heard David's mom shout upstairs. David got up and opened the door. Once the scent of curry hit Lan in the face, he was off in a flash.

"Curry fan right?" he asked. Everyone nodded, sweatdropping. Lunch went by rather quickly, through David ate five bowls more than Lan did. They left an hour later after some friendly Net-Battlers, and David was turning in for bed. After securing his HP, he jacked out his Navi's and placed them on the charger.

"Well... tomorrow we have my last days at this school before summer break..." David yawned before saying goodnight to his Navis, and placing them on sleep mode. He turned the covers and quickly went to sleep.

"I can't believe that kid's father made him an Official after his death..."

"Don't worry, like his father, he'll die as well... as well as his mother. Myabi may be dead, but with his son taking over his work, he'll be likely to track us down to get revenge."

"How about I locate the kid and blast him to bits?"

"... Fine, but if you get into any deep trouble, escape."

"You got it. That kid won't know what hit him... heh heh heh..." The person vanished.

"Hmm... now what can I do about those meddling kids who destroyed the NetMafia Gospel..."

Chapter Two

A/N: Alright now, two Mets seen in this fic belong to Webbuilder, the last one belongs to me. You'll see why soon. Oh yeah... something happens to Chaud so Chaud fangirls/fanboys may not enjoy this small part in the chapter. Dark Magician or any Yu-Gi-Oh related characters belong to whoever made that anime and the TCG...



"So David, ready?" Gareth asked his Net-op. David grabbed Gareth's PET and Berkana's, and nodded to them. He entered through the doors.

"Alright now class settle down," Ms. Mari said, as the kids grabbed their seats. Lan and Maylu sat next to eachother, Yai was two seats to their left, Dex was in the back, and Tory was the first row near the door. "We have a new student who arrived here yesterday after transfering from another school. Please come in."

David entered the room. He looked different now, aside from the usual style of clothes, he wore two belts in a cross like fasion. One had two PETs connected, which grabbed the other student's attention, and the other belt had something that looked like a deck of cards inside a card case.

"Would you like to introduce yourself?" the teacher asked.

"I'm David Abbott, I came from Netopia. I'm the son of Myabi Abbott, who was the Official of Netopia before... he died," he said, before he walked to the back of the classroom to the empty desk.

"Ohh, I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you'll enjoy the last week of class. Now would everyone like to jack in their Navis so we can begin the Virus Busting class." Everyone did so. Inside the school's cyber world, everyone was greeting the two Navis that David had. David had already met MegaMan and the others and their Net-ops.

"Alright now, David, since your new, would you like to start things off?" David nodded. Mari set up the data and three Mets appeared.

"Umm, if you wouldn't mind, I would like to try something else."

"Why?" she asked.

David smirked as Berkana gathered access to his computer at home. The three Mets began glowing, before they faded, revealing themselves. Everyone gasped as the first Met was dressed like MegaMan, with his helmet design. The second was ProtoMan, with hair coming out from the back and the Proto Sword floating at the right. The third one was a Met that dressed up as Sesshoumaru.

"Umm, alright then, tell me why you done that?"

"I have my ways..." was all he said, as the three cosplay Mets unleashed their attacks.

"Mega Buster!" The Mega Met summoned up a bustergun and unleashed plasma shots.

"Sonic Boom!"

Everyone backed away as Gareth jumped high into the air, and Berkana flew off from the attacks. The attacks missed, as Sesshoumaru Met jumped up to attack the flying female. Gareth summoned a spear and tossed it down, striking Mega Mettaur. The Met blocked it with a set up Battlechip Data, Barrier. Proto Met jumped and unleashed more Sonic Booms with the Proto Sword. Gareth yelled as he came crashing down. His spear lunge deleted the Mega Met. He jumped away and blocked more of Proto Met's attacks, before David quickly downloaded Knight Sword. Gareth flew at Proto Met, who with the same instincts as the real ProtoMan, blocked it. As the Knight Navi and cosplayer Met blocked and parryed, Berkana was tossing Blade Saws at Sesshoumaru Mettaur, who dodged them and landed far off.

"Spear Rain!" Gareth blocked Proto Mets attack, and jumped high, vanishing from view. In a matter of seconds, twenty spears rained down, cutting through the Met, deleting it.

"Too slow," it said as it dashed up and slashed Gareth with a sword that appeared out of nowhere. Hearing a cosplay Met talk amazed them all (the students and Ms. Mari). Berkana flew down and tried a Deep Impact, but Sesshoumaru Met blocked it before knocking her away. It discarded the blade as its floating hand glowed green at the index and middle fingertips. Sesshoumaru Met waved his hand and a green whip flew out and latched onto Gareth's leg, before it pulled and knocked him to the ground. He then went at whiping Berkana, each hit causing a small poison damage. Pissed off, Gareth jumped into the air, and twenty spears started raining down. Sesshoumaru Met evaded nineteen of them, but the last one slashed off the fur pelt.

"You'll pay for that." Sesshoumaru Met dashed up and obtaining a sword again, tried a downward sweep. Berkana flew in and blocked it with her staff before Gareth threw a spar, which struck Sesshoumaru Met dead center of it's forehead. It was deleted.

"That's that," David said. Everyone was surprised at the skill he had. When he said he was an Official, he wasn't kidding. He had the skills to prove it.

"He could even give Chaud a run for his money..." Lan muttered.

Ms. Mari was impressed. "That was great. Alright then, who's next?" To answer her question, a bomb rolled out beneathe the Navi's feet, before exploding. No one was hurt, it was a smoke screen bomb. MegaMan looked around as he morphed his hand into his Mega Buster. A booming laugh was heard as a Navi entered the school's system. This Navi was designed to look like a grenade. His shoulder pads were yellow with black stripes, with his right hand morphed into a smoking buster gun, red and blue with green spots around the barrel. A flip top helmet covered his face, as the eyes were all they could see. His legs were bulky like, light blue with red knee pads. On top of his head was something that looked like a trigger pin. His icon, a Grenade against an explosion was emblazoned on the right side of his chest like a metal.

"So, you guys became Officials, not that I'm surprised," the Navi said, chuckling.

"Who are you?" MegaMan demanded.

"The name's GrenadeMan, and the kid's Navis are gonna be deleted!" With that, he aimmed his buster at Gareth and Berkana, "Flash Bomb!" He shot out two bombs that had the symbol of a skull and cross bones, who the two Navis evaded. Berkana flew around, as Gareth summoned his shield.

"Deep Impact!" Berkana flew down and swung her staff, but the walking grenade jumped away, before blinding her with a flash of light. Gareth jumped and caught her before GrenadeMan could lead up with a direct attack. MegaMan took this time and unleashed some buster shots, getting the Navi.

"You meddling little blue boy..."

"Sonic Boom!" Some Sonic Booms flew past the group of Navis and struck GrenadeMan. When he landed, his left arm was missing, and he had a few cuts in his tough armor. ProtoMan came into view.

"ProtoMan!"

"So, who's this guy?" the red raider asked.

"Dunno, he just came and started attacking those two Navis over there," MegaMan said, pointing to Gareth and Berkana. The flying female flew towards GrenadeMan, before swinging her staff.

"Deep Impact!" She hit the target, as GrenadeMan was sent clear across the school's cyber world. She then raised her staff into the air.

"Dark Magician Battlechip in, download!" David slammed the chip into Berkana's PET, who the Navi began glowing with dark energy.

"Dark Magic Attack!" She aimmed and launched a blast of dark energy at GrenadeMan, who couldn't evade it in time.

"You little crap, you'll pay for this!!!"

GRENADEMAN LOGGING OUT

ProtoMan walked over to Gareth, who the knight Navi looked back.

"You guys stay out of Official business."

Gareth said nothing, but gave the red Navi an unnerving glare. ProtoMan growled, before logging out. Class resumed after the little incident, as it soon went around lunch time. David grabbed his lunch, and saw his friends at a table, where he sat with them.

"That was great, your Navis are very skilled."

"Thanks. They have been with me since I was only four."

"So, what was that chip you used earlier David?" Maylu asked.

David dug into his chip pack and took out the chip to show it to his friends. "It's called Dark Magician," he set it down on the table before he dug out his deck of cards. He went through it before he took out a card, that had the same picture as the Battlechip. They awed and ohhed a bit, before David put the chip away, and the card back into the deck before putting it away after shuffling it.

"So, are you the one who owns those two Navis?" asked a kid that walked up to them. He had dual colored hair, black and white.

"Yes I do... Chaud Blaze."

"You know Chaud?"

"Of course I do Lan. He's an Official. Saved a part of this neighborhood at Netopia and saved you from the seven delete game held by that snake woman Miss Millionare."

"Oh, so Chaud, what are you doing here anyway?" Chaud ignored Lan's question.

"I didn't know you, but I did know your father. He made a foolish mistake three weeks ago."

"What..."

"Mr. Abbott was a respected Official, but he gave up his life just so he could rescue someone from a burning house when there was no one there."

This made David snap, as he with one fell move, got up and grabbed Chaud by the throat, holding him high. This gathered the attention of the others. Chaud did all he could of getting loose from David's grip, but the black haired kid didn't let go. Lan and Dex tried to help Chaud get away from David, but they couldn't budge an inch from the black haired boy.

"You listen here! My father died saving me from my house that was burned down in a fire! Don't you ever disrespect my father again or ProtoMan dies, you hear!?" Without waiting for an answer, he threw Chaud across two tables, his body crashing against a row of trashcans. No longer hungry, he got up and left. Everyone that saw what happened cleared out of David's way. The way his eyes read was that he wouldn't stop for anything, even if the Multibug Organism Gospel survived deletion and was causing hell throughout Planet Earth. Lan and the others were suddenly scared of David, seeing that he threw Chaud easily without breaking a sweat.

"Wow... he must be strong to do that to Chaud," Dex said, somewhat impressed.

"Hope he'll be okay," Maylu said.

David was walking through the halls, until he exited the building. He saw a large tree in the field and went to it, and hid behind it. He sighed before he slumped down to the ground.

"David?" Berkana said. David grabbed her PET and looked at her.

"I know what I did was wrong, but I really hate it when someone disrespects my dad. I still haven't forgotten about him... how he saved me..."

"David, he saved you cause he loved you. He didn't want anything to happen to you," Gareth said. David ran a finger along the scar on his forehead, before he sighed.

"Guess your right," He said, before he heard the bell ringed. He placed his PET back into the case before he headed back in. When he returned to class, everyone was staring at him. Ignoring their looks, he took his seat in the back. Class was uneasy the rest of the day.

"David!" the black haired kid looked and saw Lan and Maylu running up to him.

"Hey David, you alright?" Maylu asked.

"Yeah, I'm ok... anyone who disrespects my dad... something like what you saw what I did to Chaud would suffer..." he said, "He was a brave man saving me... I just, wish he wouldn't of done that... if only there was something I could do, he wouldn't of gave up his life just to save mine." The two Net Battlers were silenced a bit. An email ringed out from Berkana's PET, as David grabbed it to read it. "Sorry guys but I gotta go, later." He ran off.

"I wonder where he has to go," Maylu said.

"He'll be ok Maylu... he needs time to himself."

"Wow, never knew you had this side in ya," she said.

"What? I was just saying."

"Whatever Lan, so you and MegaMan gonna meet Roll at the music store at Net City later?"

"Sure thing, we were going to see if Higsby had new chips in stock. I'll meet you at Net City." The two kids parted as they entered their homes. Across town, David walked up to a building, where he was greeted by Mr. Famous.

"David Abbott right? Myabi's son?" the man asked.

"Yeah."

"Well, glad you came. We gotten a report about a Navi that attacked you from Chaud and ProtoMan. Since your father gave you his rights as an Official, we'll need all the help we can get. We gotten reports of a band of Navis that wanted to get revenge for what happened during the Gospel incident. First we need to meet Manabe and Cheif Keifer." He walked to an elevator, which David followed after the NetNavi expert. This would be a long rest of the afternoon for David.

"So, that kid's Navis are stronger than we thought."

"Since the Gospel incident was forgotten, most members of Gospel that were busted by that kid's father wanted revenge when they barely survived deletion from this meddling Navis."

"I know, that was why I formed this band of Navis, Neo Gospel. Not only will we get revenge on Myabi's son, but we'll also destroy Net Society, and those kids that beaten the leader of Gospel. Don't forget that, David isn't the only target."

(A/N: Heard of Neo World Three from the Stream series? Replace World Three with "Gospel"...)

"Yes sir," a group of Navis yelled out, before they logged out.

"Once we take out Myabi's son, we'll take down the Officials."

"So... Neo Gospel," said a soothing voice. He smirked, his fangs showing, "We shall see if they can pull off this little plan of theirs. If not, then we Darkloids will rise up and take down the humans and their puppet Navis who follow them." This shadowy figure spread out bat wings and let out a chilling laugh.

Now... this will follow after the anime. As you may of guessed, or not, this is between after the Gospel Incident, and before the Axess series. Everyone has already gotten the Axess PETs in this fic. I still wonder what Navi Famous has, but since we never seen him use a NetNavi in season one, Axess, or Stream (except him having a PET)... it's unclear.

Chapter Three

It's been two weeks since GrenadeMan's attack at school, and school was already out, which means summer! Last week, David's new friends came by to celebrate his birthday. It was a bit sad since his father was no longer around, but he knew he was there in spirit. Let's say with a Kareoke jukebox and Dex don't mix.

"Man that was horrible Dex," David said. The big boy only shoved the micorphone to David.

"Well then let's see you do any better then!" He said in an angry voice. David smirked and took the mic before selecting the song Dex sung horribly to. The music began shortly, then David began singing.

"akaku nijimu taiyou wa subete o
terashite kita ima mo mukashi mo
kono yuuyami ni egaiteru souzou wa
hatashite kono te ni oenai mono na no ka?

"motto ima ijou ni hadaka ni natte
ikite yuku jutsu oshiete yo

The music faded to an end, and his friends clapped. "Alright Dex, pay up." Dex grumbled before he paid up five hundred Zenny for the bet the two made shortly before David sang. He remained up there and sang the rest of the song list from the Inuyasha CD, then one from Cowboy Bebop, "The Real Folk Blues".

Anyway back to the present time, there was a tournament happening downtown, and David had just regestiered both his Navis. It was hard, but with being a full Official, he was allowed to operate his two Navis. He got away from the booth, before he heard his name being called out. It was his new friends.

"Hey guys."

"Hey David, your entering this tournament too?" David nodded to Lan, who smiled, "Well all I can say is good luck to ya."

"Yeah," David smirked. It would be two hours before the start of the beginning rounds.

"So, a tournament huh?"

"Yeah boss, this could be the chance to attack those kids and that one Official from Netopia," GrenadeMan said. "Knowing them from files we obtain, Lan, Chaud, and that David kid enter tournaments like these to prove their strength."

"Let me devise a plan, I'll burst their bubbles!" said a Navi with a large bustergun. The leader grinned.

"Not yet, I will go and confront Myabi's son face-to-face." The other Navis nodded before they teleported out of the dark room. The Navi leader only smirked.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the DenTech Tournament!" Ribbita shouted into her mic, getting an uproar from the crowd that came to the DenTech Dome. The DenTech Dome was connected to the Cyber Dome in Net City. "I will be your host, Ribbita. And my co-host Mr. Higsby."

"Well guys and gals, we have an interesting line of competors, who came from around Electopia to participate."

"Now we go live to the stage, where the first round will begin. Introducing, the young Net Battler who just moved from Netopia, David Lee Abbott!" The crowd cheered David as he walked up to the blue side.

"David's opponent, is the Sledge Hammer Bros. and their Net-op Hiro!" Higsby said, as a guy who dressed in a opposing red and green coat with a white shirt and black pants came out.

"This match will be fair since each Net Battler have two Navis." Before the match could begin, the lights in the DenTech Dome blacked out, before the Net Battle Machine turned on, revealing a strange NetNavi. His head was human looking, face tan, light purple eyes with purple hair. He wore some sort of hat that exposes his face, but everything else is covered with a cyber fabric, fused into a mine shaped object that is pure metal, white with red trims near the edges. His neck was covered with a turtleneck like bracer, white with a red trim. His torso was a bit big that is white. Emblazoned on the front was a red circle with a point facing down. The armor at the bottom has red trims, his thin stomach covered with a gray body suit. He had no arms, but his shoulders were connected. His hands are seen floating near the arm length of MegaMan's. The hands wore white gloves, with red wrist braces. His upper legs were slightly shaped like an oval, at teh sides of the hips were red circles with a red line coming out from the sides. He wore a white belt with a cloth that covered the front. A red circle is seen, two lines coming out from the 90 degree perspective, the third line heading down, the ends red trimmed. his legs below the knees are covered with the gray flexible bodysuit. His feet are in white metal slipper like shoes, red braces around the shins. He smiled as he turned to face David.

"Hello, son of Myabi."

David stared at the strange Navi, before his mind clicked, "Hey! Your the one Navi who got away from my father's grip two months ago during the Gospel Incident!"

"Yes, I am," He said with a smile, "My name is Juno. I met your father, and escaped from him, but just barely. He damaged me so I had myself reformatted. For revenge, I caused the fire. I was surprised that you survived, but I succeeded in killing your dad."

David snapped. "You little bastard... Jack In!! Berkana and Gareth, power up!" Two red beams of light struck the jack in port, and two Navis entered the field.

"David, son of Myabi, I shall test your Battle skills..." he aimmed his hands after clenching them at the Navis, before shooting them. Berkana and Gareth evaded the attacks. Gareth summoned a spear and threw it at Juno. The Navi dodged it before he started dashing. He was caught by surprise from Berkana when she swung her staff at his face, knocking him down.

"Dark Magician Battlechip in, download!" He slammed the chip into Gareth's PET, and the knight Navi summoned the magician. He aimmed his staff at Juno before unleashing a Dark Magic attack. Juno turned gamma colored before being blasted away, suffering high damage. Dark Magician vanished before Gareth jumped high. In a matter of seconds, twenty spears rained down on Juno, who did his best blocking them.

"Explosive Collision!" He launched his hands at Berkana, who flew away just in the nick of time. The hands connected by fists, creating a small explosion before returning to Juno. He raised his right hand as it glowed before shooting it forward, the fist launching a laser shot. Gareth was caught in the attack, as the second hand came and did the same thing. They returned before he vanished. He suddenly appeared behind Gareth and kicked him hard in the back, sending him crashing to the ground.

"Deep Impact!" Berkana snuck up on Juno, and slammed the staff at him, knocking into Gareth who got up, and thrusted a spear through his mid section. Juno yelled out before he backed off. The two Navis grouped up as Juno smiled. He pulled the spear out, and looked at the two.

"That is enough for now. I see your both great in power. I'll allow you to live for now... next time, David will die, and so will the others who stopped the leader of Gospel."

JUNO LOGGING OUT

"Well, with that uhh, interuption over with, let's begin the match!" Higsby shouted, as Hiro jacked in his Navis.

The Sledge Hammer Bros. smirked as they entered the field. "Since they're tired, this win shall be easy."

"Fire/Aqua/Wood/ElecGospel Battlechips in, download." David said in a dark voice, as Gareth and Berkana aimmed their arms at their opponents. they transformed into Gospel's head, the back of the throats brimming with a glow representing that element, Fire and Aqua for Gareth, Wood and Elec for Berkana. Everyone in the DenTech Dome was silenced, as the two team Navis unleashed the power of the Multibug Organism, Gospel. The opposing Navis didn't have time to block, or scream in dreadful pain.

SLEDGE HAMMER BROS. LOGGING OUT

"I win," David said in a dark tone, as he jacked out his two Navis and walked away, leaving everyone stunned.

"We'll take an hour break. Stay tuned folks," Ribbita said, as the cameras turned off. Down at the lounge, David was recharging his chips, as Lan and Chaud went up to him. Chaud was still mad for the other day, but he got over it.

"Where did you get those chips?" the dual haired Official asked. David took them from the recharger before showing them a picture of Gospel against a colored background representing the element of the chips.

"The remains of the Gospel server. My father found them and hid them from anyone who was power greedy. And no, they're mine. Even if you put me under arrest for having chips that represent a dead NetMafia, I don't give a damn..." He was very mad. He knew that a Navi caused the fire, but now he wanted revenge more than ever, since he found the Navi responsible for that horrible event. "If you excuse me, I have a folder to reasemble..." He pushed himself past Chaud and Lan, as the others gathered near them. David entered an elevator, and the doors closed.

"That Juno... damn it!" He punched a wall, causing his fist to go through the plaster. He reeled it in, cause he hit a stud. "That hurts..." The kid sat down in the closed off lunch room, that overlooked the stadium. He grabbed his pack and opened it up. He had alot of rare Battlechips, along with several others not known. He placed his four Gospel chips in the pack, before he dumped the rest at the pocket. He dug around, gathering any chips he'll need for the next round. He already won the elimniation round, so it would be awhile until the secondary rounds began. About fifteen minutes later, he had everything ready.

Battle after battle came, as most people lost, and the winners advanced towards victory. Two of them being Lan and Chaud. His second round against a mystery person was tomorrow, so he returned home for some shut-eye.

Chapter Four

A/N: ForteZero here. David wanted me to tell you guys that there's an Extra Code Battle that goes along the MegaMan X Command Mission fights... I don't know why though if thats what your wondering...

"Ready Tornado Rapsody?"

"Yes sir, we'll delete that kid's Navis and you can get rid of those twerps."

* * *

"Well folks... it's day two at the secondary rounds. Yesterday, these eight Net Battlers advanced to the secondarys: Lan Hikari and MegaMan, Chaud Blaze and ProtoMan, Higarashi and Tornado Rhapsody, David Abbott and his twin Navis Berkana and Gareth, Sango and Kirara, Mystery Operator and Ninetails, Chris and ShiningMan, and C.J. and BurstMan!"

"Yup Ribbita, and they have proven that they can battle good under tense situations. And now our computers will select who faces off against who," Higsby said as Ribbita pressed a button, and the screens randomly mixed pictures. Soon, they stopped, and everyone was glad with the results (the audience).

"Because of four empty slots, we will do a random selection from the defeated for a second chance. Alright here we go!" The chip otaku pressed the button and the screen minimized, only to bring up another one. Random pictures from yesterday's defeated Net Battlers came up. After awhile, it selected the first returning team, before it vanished, and selected another team shortly.

"Well Mr. Higsby, guess you gotta fight, since you and Dave are up next, right after these commercials!" She beams a smile to the camera before it went off. The chip otaku was whining about not wanting to battle cause he doesn't want to waste any rare Battlechips, but a mean glare of death from the reporter told Higsby otherwise to beat it.

"How are we gonna get rid of that kid Higarashi?"

"Hmmm.... let's ask that punk over there... Hey you!" Higarashi yelled to a guy in the alley. The gruff man looked up and stomped over.

"Whatcha want ya shrimp!" the man said, cracking his knuckles. Higarashi flashed out five thousand zenny, and told him to attack this kid in the open, as he showed the man a picture. With five thousand zenny, he agreeded, as he took the payment early and walked off.

"Heh, once that kid is taken care of, he'll be forced to throw off the match when his body is ditched off in the river," the evil bastard muttered, as he walked away from the alley, and vanished into the crowd.

"Just five minutes until the next match begins between you and Higsby," Lan said. He and his friends were at a table located outside near this ice cream shop on the DenTech Dome's entrances, talking to the operator of QuickMan. Since Gospel was disbanded, and destroyed, Dave righted his wrongdoings, and he's paid his debt to society, plus he's a childhood friend to Sal. Just then, the same man who Higarashi paid for a hit, walked up to them, and tapped on David's shoulder. David looked back, before he got up.

"Hello, can I help you?"

"Are you David?" the man asked, cracking his knuckles.

"Umm, yeah?" The man smiled evily, before he spoke.

"I'm sorry, but your time is up!" He threw a punch, as David evaded it. The punch crashed against the table, as Lan and the others moved away.

"Damn, Lan catch!" David threw his PETs to the brown haired boy, who caught it before he rolled out of the way of a kick to the midsection. David was very athlectic, plus he studied free styled martial arts... that and copies some moves from various fighting games. A crowd quickly gathered around as David rushed in and landed a kick to the guy, but he didn't flinch. His eyes widen before he was punched to the ground. Thinking quickly, he flipped back onto his feet and ran towards the guy, lashing out with quick jabs and punches. The attacker blocked them while fighting back.

"Damn!" David spun around and tried a tornado kick, but the man grabbed his leg and threw him away, sending him crashing into a nearby table. He backflipped out of harms way when the man ran up, lifted his right leg into the air and kicked down, his shin cracking the table in half (it's wood). David backflipped while the man followed. He planted his feet into the wall and lunged towards him using the wall as an extra boost. He crossed his arms and landed a critical blow to his chest. The man stumbled before David tornado kicked him in the face, sending him crashing into the tables. The police was already summoned as they grabbed the man and placed him under arrest. They were also about to arrest David, but he flashed out his Official Badge.

They left and the crowd quickly broke up. David sat down at one of the undamaged tables as his friends sat down around him at the table.

"Wow... that was.... fun," David said, breathing a bit hard. It was clear he was out of breath from doing.... all that fighting.

"Since when did you fight, or study any form of martial arts?"

"When I was only five, that and most of those move you saw, those fast ones, I copied from an anime show I used to watch." The gang all sweatdropped. Lan handed his PETs back to David, who put them away. Five minutes later, they were all sitting in the arena, as the match began. Dave and QuickMan versus Mr. Higsby and NumberMan.

"Alright QuickMan, show them what speed really is!"

"You got that right! Quick Boomerang!" QuickMan threw his arms in front of him, throwing fast boomerangs at NumberMan. The chip otaku's Navi was thrown back from the fast attack. They returned and struck NumberMan in the back as QuickMan caught them.

"Long Sword Battlechip in, download!" Higsby wanted to use Hero Sword, but he settled for Long Sword instead.

"Here I go!" NumberMan ran and slashed downward, but QuickMan summoned a boomerang shaped more into a sword and blocked it. With one swipe, NumberMan logged out in defeat.

"Well, Higsby lost, Dave advances," Ribbita said as the crowd cheered. Dave logged out his Navi and left. The chip otaku was back at the booth with Ribbita, taking his seat again.

"Up next, is David versus Higarashi!" The two Net Battlers walked out to the console, and jacked in their NetNavis. Gareth and Berkana streamed in, as did their opponent, Tornado Rhapsody. He was designed like a horse (think of The Skiver from MegaMan X5, no he's different looking!). His wings looked like an angels, long silver white hair billowing out the back of his helmet which reached near his waist, the helmet which was shaped like a gladiator's. His icon, a oddly shaped wing, was emblazoned on his forehead of the helmet. He wore gladiator styled armor, except his leg armor, which were almost matching Gareth's, only white with red and green marks. His arms were encased in sleek silver fist armor. He looked at the two Navis, and gruffed.

"So, your operator survived..."

"What? What do you mean?" David asked.

"You didn't figure it out you damned Official? I was the one who sent that man to attack you after I paid him five thousand zenny." Lan and his friends that were sitting in the row closest to him were shocked. Higarashi laughed, before he flipped the kids off.

"C'mon... use that Extra Code of yours! Your father made that code to defeat his enemies, so why not bring it to this tournament, huh?"

"Extra Codes? David don't, using Extra Codes may harm your Navis even if it gives them a boost in power!"

"I'm not talking about the ones that threaten to delete your pathetic blue boy Navi... I mean the codes made for a special fight..." David smirked, as an image of his father passed his mind.

Dad, this victory is for you... David thought as he ignored his friends and inputed the Extra Code. The buzzer sounded, then everything blacked out. Everything came back on, as Gareth and Berkana faded in. Standing before them was Tornado Rhapsody. A klaxon sounded out as the word WARNING in red flashed on the console displayer, and on the big screens located around the stadium. The sounds ended, as some sort of music began playing. No one couldn't figure out where it came from, nor if this was a Net Battle or not. They were amazed at a new type of battle that started. At the bottom of the screen were eight bars. Next to it on the lower left were Gareth and Berkana's names, and how much HP they have.

(Music "Executive Battle" MegaMan X Command Mission)

"I'll rip you to shreds!" Tornado Rhapsody pointed upward to the sky before two barriers of swirling light appeared at either side of the enemy Navi as he crossed his arms and grinned. Two Spooky viruses appeared. The right Spooky vanished, only to reappear and lash out with it's tounge at Gareth. He suffered 129 HP damage. The left Spooky attacked Berkana, HP damage 135. Berkana flew in, and swung her staff through the ghost virus. It was deleted. Gareth jumped high into the sky, he vanished from the camera's fixed point of view. Suddenly, twenty spears rained down, ten for Tornado Rhapsody and the next set at the right Spooky virus. The virus was deleted, as Tornado Rhapsody suffered 2690 HP damage. The winged Navi took flight into the air. Berkana flew in and swung her staff, but Tornado Rhapsody evaded the attack thrice. She flew back as Gareth was surrounded in a barrier of light. David activated Gareth's Style Change, Glint Armor. When the barrier vanished a few seconds later, Gareth's armor has shifted. He had a bit more metal along his arms and shoulders, as he had two curved scarlet red spikes coming out from his back shoulder blades. The grey color scheme changed as well. Along the leg armor, some grey remained, but two green stripes ran down to the feet, which the feet armor was bright yellow with green stripes in an X fashion. The torso armor was dark green, with two green round jewels on front (like Zero's booblights... *can hear the red Maverick Hunter say "Don't diss the booblights..."*). Everythign else changed to a dark red color, the three purple lines on Gareth's helmet now bright green. Data scrolled across the screen in front Gareth as data appeared. A timer was set and two bars appeared with different status listed above them by symbol. When the word OK appeared, the bars suddenly began filling up as time decreased. When time ran out, it was 78% filled. "Stay down!" He blasted Tornado Rhapsody back to the ground with a large energy beam when the background turned black. The BG returned, as Tornado Rhapsody got up, and crossed arms, grinning.

Berkana smiled as rose petals appeared and surrounded her. When it blew away, her dress changed to an expensive princess dress lined with ruby and emerald, the colors pink, red, and white. Her torso armor turned to cloth, as it seemed puffed up, of course that's why it's clothed now instead of hard torso armor. It was a pink color. Surrounding her neck was something like an amulet, with the jewel a large purple color held by gold. Her staff morphed until it turned into a Princess Guard belonging to Aeris from Final Fantasy VII. Her hair was still blond, but it now had a sparking like texture added to it. Her helmet vanished, exposing the rest of her hair, as a princess tiara was crowned on her. It was Berkana's Style Change: Ancient Princess. She twirled her staff around in her arms and prayed as silver wind engulfed both her and Gareth. Their lost HP was restored by 1000. Tornado Rhapsody gruffed before he took flight and vanished from view. After a few seconds, he dive bombed Gareth and swooped into the sky before doing the same to Berkana, then landing in his spot. Both Navis suffered damage of 2388 HP. Gareth jumped into the air before throwing three spears at Tornado Rhapsody before landing. His enemy suffered 2327 HP damage. Berkana defended this turn, a barrier appearing. Gareth's turn came again as he too defended. Tornado Rhapsody aimmed a finger at the sky before two Spooky viruses appeared. The viruses each attacked the enemy, HP damage at Gareth 132, Berkana suffering 127 HP damage. Gareth jumped away from view before twenty spears struck down Tornado Rhapsody, HP damage at 3639. Gareth landed before he jumped into the air again and threw two spears, each one deleting the Spookies. Berkana flew up and used Deep Impact. Her attack made a deep cut into Tornado Rhapsody's HP counter. Tornado Rhapsody growled before he took flight, backflipped vertically then dashed through Gareth. He suffered 4352 HP damage as Tornado Rhapsody returned to his spot in the air. Gareth jumped away and launched twenty spears at the enemy. It slashed out what remained of Tornado Rhapsody's HP, except one, because of an Undershirt.

(Music Fade)

"You little....!" Tornado Rhapsody muttered out as he fell to the ground. The buzzer sounded as everyone cheered for David's victory. Higarashi downloaded a Sword to his Navi. Before they knew it, Tornado Rhapsody flew at Gareth, striking him through the chest with the sword. Everyone gasped as Gareth logged out from heavy damage. Berkana used Deep Imnpact, which logged him out.

TORNADO RHAPSODY LOGGING OUT

Higarashi drew out a gun and aimmed at David. Chaud saw this and threw a Sword Battlechip at him. It knocked it out of his hand. What happened next was proof of David's athlectic ability. The cameras caught all this down too. David flew at the man and kicked him into the air. Before he landed, he spun vertically 360 degrees around, during which his kick sent the man airborn again. Everyone was stunned as David didn't let Higarashi fall once. They counted twelve more times before the man landed hard, bruised up. Security gathered and arrested the man for threating an Official, plus endangerment of innocent people with a weapon.

"Wow..." was all Lan said. His friends witnessed it, as well as a world wide audience. They suddenly cheered for him like it was an act or something (typical...), but Lan and company only got up from their seats to go look for the black haired boy when he walked out of the arena.

"Well, it seems we ran out of time, stay tuned tomorrow for the continuation of the secondary rounds. This is Ribbita reporting to you from DenTech Dome, signing off!" The cameras then turned off.

"So Higarashi was arrested?" Juno asked.

"Yes sir," said a young male's voice.

"Hmm, alright then, continue with your work," Juno said as he disconnected the link. "If Higarashi gets interrogated... then my plans will fail. Can't let that happen... unless..." Juno got a sudden evil smirk on his face, as he streamed out.

[Mistress Leviathan]

Lets see... crossing Juno over to the EXE universe looking different, that was great. We don't know if the Sledge Hammer Bros. have an Net-op or not, but who cares. The battle seemed rushed with Juno to me, but how you made David react to how he found out the muderer of his father was very sad. T_T

At the beginnning of Chapter Three was a bit of a filler, am I right? I have the CD of Inuyasha so I listened to it while reading the lyrics, that and The Real Folk Blues. I was very amazed with the battle between Tornado Rhapsody who sounds like a Spiral Pegasus (The Skiver) clone and Berkana and Gareth in a Command Mission styled fight.

All in all, these two chapters are great, you'll be doing more right?

Chapter Five

A/N: A little bit of romance between David and his childhood friend... Oh yeah... I hope to get more reviews... or replys from other people that may take an interest in this story. Anyway, more Command Mission styled fights to come...

There was a sound of someone knocking on the front door. Mrs. Abbott heard it and she went to answer it. She was surprised when she saw one of David's childhood friends standing at the doorway.

"Hi Mrs. Abbott, is David here?"

"I'm sorry, but he's at the DenTech Dome for the tournament. It's not far from here."

"Ok, thanks." The girl then walked off, and headed to the metro station.

* * *

"As I asked yesterday... did you really have to beat down that Higarashi guy, David?" Lan asked. He and the others were crowded around David as he finished a card move. His opponent growled before he played a card, but David countered with the Darkness Overload Trap Card (When an opponent plays a Navi or Monster Card, Darkness Overload deletes that played card, and opponent loses 2000 LifePoints). His opponent lost what remained of his LP. It was a sunny day today, as people were gathering at the front entrances of the DenTech Dome to claim their seats.

"So what... that guy threatened me, so I took to the defensive." His opponent shook hands with David before he walked off. David claimed a prize of a Blue-Eyes White Dragon card.

"By kicking that guys butt twelve times before you let him fall to the ground?" Chaud asked as he walked up to the black haired boy.

"Meh, I've done worst," He muttered. They moved away from him a bit. "I'm not a psychopath if that's what your thinking!"

"DAVID!" The boy looked behind him, only to get glomped by a girl. Lan and the others saw this and snickered a bit.

"Who's this David, a fan?" Maylu sneered, both her and Yai giggling.

"David... I found you at last," the girl smiled. David's jaw dropped, he recongized the voice

"A-Alia? Is that you?"

Alia is a blond haired girl with bright blue eyes. She wore light blue jeans and black and white shoes. She wore a short sleeved shirt, and a pink sweater coat unzipped, with the japanese words "Ninjutsu" emblazoned on the back. She wore a hairclip with the symbol of a flower in her blond hair, possibly her Navi's icon.

"Who know her?" Maylu asked David.

"Of course I know him, he's my best friend," Alia said, sitting David lap, which made the 13 year old blush.

"Alia, you came all this way from Netopia to see me?"

"You could say that... I missed you alot. My dad got a job at Scilabs and we had to move. I live nextdoor to you now," she winked at him.

"Ehh..." David was at a loss for words, but he held his friend tightly.

"Umm, maybe we should give the two lovebirds some time alone," Yai suggested. Both the two blushed before they yelled at them, but they were already gone, laughing a bit.

"They don't know I was your girlfriend, right?" Alia asked as she got off and took a seat next to him.

"I'm sure they already put two and two together when you glomped me, Alia," David replied.

"So... anything happened?"

"Well... let's say that I found out who killed my father and burned down my house..." David said in a sad tone. Alia only sat in silence before she held him.

"Who was it?"

"It was a Navi named Juno. He was almost deleted but he barely escaped deletion, and now he and a gang of people are after me since I was given my father's rights as an Official."

"That's harsh..." The two remained silent for more than a minute. An email beeped from Gareth's PET, and David took it out and opened it. It was from Chaud.

"Hey David, get your butt over to the lounge, viruses are attacking NetCity! - Chaud"

"Shoot, gotta go Alia!"

"David, I'm coming with you. I already entered my regrestrastion to enter Net City, so me and Marino are gonna help you and your new friends."

"Alright, hun," he said with a blush. The two shared a quick kiss before they got up, heading to the DenTech Dome.

"Mega Buster!" MegaMan blasted down some viruses that were attacking a group of civilians.

"Sonic Boom!"

"Heart Slash!"

"Blizzard!"

"Guts Punch!"

"Glyde Cannon!"

MegaMan's friends all attacked any viruses that were going after civilians, while ProtoMan and MegaMan took care of the viruses that were attacking the Navis in the stands. Up above, a mystery Navi stood waiting.

David entered the lounge, where his friends were battling these viruses that inflitrated Net City, which now were heading towards the Cyber Dome.

"I'm here guys!"

"Good, now help us!" Chaud shouted, before he downloaded Custom Sword to ProtoMan, and Lan downloaded Meteor15 to MegaMan (they have ID that allows Battlechips in Net City).

"Jack In!! Gareth and Berkana, power up!"

"Jack In!! Marino, power up!"

Three streams of light dropped down, and deposited Gareth, Berkana, and Alia's Navi.

Marino is a female Navi that studied in the art of Ninjutsu. She had slightly long green hair coming out from the back of her helmet, and some from the front with a curved hair style. Her helmet was shades of pink, two dull spikes coming out from the sides, light pink with a yellow ring like stripe and a blue part within the yellow stripe. Three blue orbs were embedded into the top of her helmet, two near the bottom of the spikes, and one on the top like a triangle if you look from the top view. Two dark pink fused into her helmet slightly covered the sides of her face, but her mouth and bright blue eyes are still visible. Around her neck was some sort of golden necklace fused to her with a red orb in the middle. Her shoulders were encased in medium sized armor, dark pink in color with four indents colored yellwo and blue, her outter shoulder armor near her shoulder blades emblazoned with yellow. Her upper arms were covered in a black silk garmet, same with her upper legs. Her torso was covered with a pink swimsuit like bodysuit overlapping her black one. She was a bit big in the chest area, with four gold coins pinned to her at the front. A white stripe ran down the middle of her body, underneath her breasts was a yellow stripe that started from the white stripe and went around to the back, two thin ones going around her waist over her belt. Her icon was a white flower with a blue orb embedded into the belt. Her lower arms were encased in pink armor, her wrist covered in a light pink braclet with a blue orb in it surrounded by yellow star points from four corners, her hands covered with white gloves. Her leg armor was pink as well, yellow knee pads with large blue orb jewels embedded. Around her shins was light pink braclets with blue orbs located at the sides of her shins, her feet styled like a woman's boots. She had some sort of weapon carrier floating behind her back, holding two handles. It was shaped like a japanese lion head or face, red, pink, yellow, and white in color. The eyes were made of ruby.

Gareth jumped high into the air, as twenty spears rained down, deleting a flank of Flappy viruses. Berkana flew in, and slashed through the weak viruses that were cornering two child Navis.

"Fire Stella!" Marino twirled around, launching small flaming ninja stars. They deleted five viruses, before Marino drew out her Beam Knives, and dashed through a row of Mettaurs, slashing them to deletion.

"Here Marino, Beam Chakram S Battlechip in, download!" Marino's beam weapons glowed before they took the shape of small glowing cutlasses. She smirked before she wall climbed to the top of the cyber stadium, then dive-bombing.

"You guys, get out of the way!" Berkana shouted. Her warning got clear of the others and they backed off, as Marino started glowing.

"Marino Comet!" She crashed into the viruses, and the force of her attack deleted them all within the cyber stadium, and the remaining forces were either deleted as well, or were taken care of by ProtoMan.

"That was awesome Alia," Lan said. She smiled, before Marino turned around, and blocked a three pointed star, then blasted it back.

"Who threw that!?"

The Navi jumped down as if on cue, laughing. "I did senorita. The name's TenguMan!" The bird like Navi announced himself. He wore a youkai mask, his nose pointy and sharp. His black eyes was all they could see. He spread out his metallic black wings, as he formed a three pinted weapon in his right hand. He wore something that looked like sweatpants (Serenade's pants), wearing red and white boots, armored. His torso was encased in white and crimson red armor, heavily armored on the front, with vents on the sides. Yellwo stripes ran down his sides, ending at the belt, where his icon -- a circle with three thick green points coming out -- was located at the front at the belt buckle. His shoulders were covered with medium sided armor, like Gundam crests from the Zero Gundam on the said anime show.

"TenguMan, what reason do you have for attacking Net City with these viruses," MegaMan demanded, as he, ProtoMan, Gareth, Berkana, and everyone else readied their default weapons.

"Well... I was sent by Juno, on behalf of the NetMafia Neo Gospel!"

"Neo Gospel!?"

"Yes... we picked up on what the original Gospel NetMafia had and launched our organiazation from there. Of course were not stupid to recreate a Multibug Organism... Not only are we after David, but we are also after whoever is friends with him, and anyone who was involved with destroying the headquaters of the original Gospel NetMafia... which means all of you."

"Whatever! You bastards ruined my life, so I get to ruin you!!" David shouted in an outburst. They were surpsied. David inputted the Extra Code, as Gareth blasted his friends away with a friendly attack without dealing any damage.

"David... your using your father's Extra Code."

"Yeah, and I need your help with this..." Alia looked at him, before she smiled and nodded. David pressed a button, confirming the entry.

"Welcome folks to the-" Ribbita was interupted by the area blacking out. The Net Battle Machine glowed before it turned on. There standing before a bird like Navi was Berkana, Gareth, and a female ninja Navi Marino. The crowd were in awe as a klaxon sounded out.

(Music "Final Battle" MegaMan X Command Mission)

"No one is as hansome as I am!" TenguMan made a pose as his nose suddenly grew longer, before he formed his weapon, and threw it at Marino. A whirlwind formed around her as the weapon passed her, suffering HP damage of 3584. Berkana flew in and swung her staff thrice, HP damage dealt was 2385. Gareth jumped high into the air, before twenty spears struck down TenguMan. HP damage was at 2369. The bird Navi glowed with a swirling white light before it switched over to Gareth. He was suddenly struck by flames, HP damage at 1000. Marino clasped her hands together like ShadowMan. "Now the real fun starts!" She glowed before she reappeared. She was now in her Quicksilver Style Change. Her armor's color scheme changed from pink shades, to dark shades of black, white, and gray. Her hair turned from green to blond, and the pink bodysuit on her legs vanished, revealing skin (that will make pervert guys bleed from their noses...) The turn bar suddenly switched to her only. She glowed, using Attack+20, before dashing forward and double slashing with her daggers before she flipped back to her position, HP damage at 2074. She did the same tactic again using Attack+20, then dashed in and struck TenguMan twice with her daggers. HP damage 2110. She planted her hand against the ground like a dancer, as data scrolled onto the screen. It looked like a slot machine, as the word GO flashed before it began spinning. With the PET, Alia pressed a button three times. The outcome was three faces of Marino. "Mirage Dive!" She jumped into the air before crash bombing into TenguMan. HP damage was 7849.

"You little punk!" he squaked before getting back up, and resuming his pose. "Tornado Hold!" He laughed before a large tornado swirled around them, HP damage at 4563. Marino was in a weird stance, balanced on one foot, before she glowed, returning to her normal colors. She dashed forward and double slashed TenguMan, HP damage at 2687. "Giving it everything!" Gareth shouted as he entered Glint Armor Style Change. When he emerged from the barrier, data scrolled for his special attack. David filled up the bar on a time limit to 87%. "Stay Down!" His attack struck down TenguMan, HP damage at 3589. Berkana smiled before she was engulfed in rose petals. When she emerged, she was in her Ancient Princess Style Change. She prayed as silver winds engulfed her and her comrades in battle, before she restored half their lost HP. TenguMan took to the skies. "Tengu Blade!" He swung his weapon, as a gray bladed Sonic Boom struck Gareth. TenguMan landed, HP damage dealt to Gareth was 3554. Berkana smirked before she flew in and used Deep Impact. This cut down TenguMan's HP with 6781. TenguMan let out a laugh as a swirling light engulfed him, as he recovered 500 HP with a Subchip. Marino smirked before she planted her hand against the floor, crouching down, as data scrolled across the screen. GO appeared and the reels began turning. Alia pressed the button three times, but she missed up on the last reel. It was two Treasure Chests, and a black bar. "Marino Stamp!" She flipped into the air before she air dashed at TenguMan with her right leg out. She kicked him down, and flipped back to her spot. Berkana flew in and used Deep Impact, HP damage at 6545.

During this whole fight, everyone noticed a bar that appears when TenguMan loses HP. It broke, as the area dimmed. The words FINAL STRIKE! appeared. Both the two Net Battlers confirmed the Final Strike. "Alright, let's do it!" Marino and Berkana flew in and unleashed their attacks, Saw Blades slicing through, and small shurikens raining down, while Gareth stood at his spot and threw a spear, before more began raining down from the sky. The word BeatDown appeared, but they continued for more than then more seconds before Marino and Berkana flew back to their spots.

"NOO!!! I can't lose to you!!!"

TENGUMAN LOGGING OUT

"That was... slightly hard... thanks for the help Alia," David said as the girl turned to him and sealed their lips with a kiss, in front of Lan and the others. Maylu let them have time to themselves, before she and Lan logged out their Navis, and their friend's Navis as well. The guys wanted to watch but the girls had to shoo them away, Chaud and ProtoMan already gone.

"Wow.... that was, unexpected... Anyway, folks, welcome to the DenTech Tournament! We're at the final stretch of the secondary rounds!" The crowd cheered on.

The rest of the day was filled with exitement, as the remaining Battlers entered.

"Fox Flames!" Kirara threw her arm in front, blasting her opponent with etheral blue flames, but the crimson clad warrior blocked it and attacked with a ungodly beam of energy. Sango had no choice but to log out her Navi before any more damage could be dealt to Kirara.

"Zeta Step1!" MegaMan vanished, and unleashed multiple slashes against his opponent QuickMan, who was logged out from the match.

"Get that shark and put his head on a platter BurstMan!" The large Navi chuckled before blasting the area with Danger Wrap. SharkMan did his best to avoid them all, but he was blasted back hard, and he logged out. Commander Beef shortly ran off, after getting a call for a mission overseas.

At the end, there was the round between David and Chris.

"I'm-" ShiningMan began singing.

"Hey," David shouted loudly, stopping ShiningMan, and temporarly shutting up the crowd, "If you even thinking about your little fan song... your operator gets it."

ShiningMan looked at him, before he resumed singing. "... Shining! I'm Shining! If you shine!" David snapped his fingers, "I'll sh-" and Gareth suddenly dashed in and punched the turban wearing Navi in the face. Berkana finished it with a Blade Saw through his icon. ShiningMan was forced to log out, resulting in a win to David, reverting the crowd to resume their fandom cheering.

"These battles were tough, but next week, we'll head to the semi-finals! David vs. the Mystery Operator and Lan vs. C.J. Since Chaud was the N1 Grand Prix winner, he will face off against the last person who wins the semi-finals. Stay tuned next week. This is Ribbita signing out!" The camera's clicked and turned off. It was a long day for her, and she was glad to be heading home.

"You wern't kidding Alia when you said you lived nextdoor," David said as he walked his friend home. She smiled and gave him a small kiss before entering her home.

"See you tomorrow David," she winked before the door closed.

"Well, we should get some shut-eye guys..."

"Yeah, but before you do, answer your email. It's from Mr. Famous," Berkana said.

David entered his home. But after he sat down at his desk and began working on his work, he answered the email, it read:

"It's just Famous... Berkana, no mister. Anyway David, Chaud sent me a report about a Navi by the name of TenguMan, and the NeoGospel NetMafia he works for. We also got similar information from Higarashi after we interrogated him. All I can say is becareful, it seems they also hold a grudge against Lan and the others for destroying the original Gospel NetMafia. - Famous"

Gareth whistled, amazed that Mr. Famous would of known Berkana said "mister".

"Well, we should tell the others..." Berkana stated.

"Nah, I'm sure Chaud will tell them anyway. For now, I gotta finish this... here, there." David was amazed with his next set of virus cosplay Mets, the DreamBit set. He placed it on the third shelf, before he turned out the lights, placed his PETs to sleep mode, and went to sleep himself.

"Heh, so they now know of us. Good, great work TenguMan," Juno said.

"All for you master," The bird Navi replied, kneeling before the purple haired Navi.

"You may go now." TenguMan nodded before he vanished in a stream of data.

"Hmm... time for Ninetails to kill David at the tournament..."
