"Meijin... It's getting late. You should hurry up." A voice spoke softly from the Progress PET resting on its charger. Five minutes passed without any response, that is, until the PET began to beep loudly.

A large bundle of sheets produced a soft mumbling, followed soon enough by an arm that felt around on the nightstand for the PET. When the PET was found it quickly disappeared under the covers. Meijin blinked sleepily as he turned off the alarm of his PET and yawned sleepily.

"Good morning." A navi greeted cheerfully.

"Gateman, was that really necesary?" Meijin yawned as he removed the covers and sat up.

"Hey, if you want to break your perfect record of assistance and punctuality on SciLabs, that's fine with me." Gateman shruged

"Stop acting like you're my mom." The human grumbled as he finally got off the bed and walked towards the shower.

"You programed me to be your personal asistent, Meijin-san. That includes to organize your schedule and make sure you go along with it."

"You know I hate formalities!" The young man grumbled and set the PET on another charger right outside of the bathroom. "It makes me feel old!" He complained from inside.

"It makes you feel old!" Gateman repeated, trying to imitate his Operator's whinning voice. Gateman couldn't understand why a formality like that could make a human feel old, but there were things navis just couldn't understand, and human complexes about their physical age were one of them.

After a shower, Meijin drove towards SciLabs. The ride there was quite calm and peaceful, Gateman didn't like to speak after his Operator would leave his home. Meijin was really grateful for that, the navis morning reprimends were enough for a day.

"Morning Meijin!" The receptionists smiled and greeted the young scientist.

"Good Morning!" The brown haired man ran towards the lab to work with Dr. Hikari on the current project they had in hand. "Morning Dr. Hikari!" He greeted, throwing a pursue into a chair nearby and rushing to meet up with the scientis.

"Meijin, it's 2:00pm you must report to the Net Saviors office." Gateman infomed his Operator softly.

The brown haired man nodded, and fixed his glasses, running through the labs to the small section where the Net Saviors had installed an office and control room for him to report, contact and handle the missions of the Net Saviors. "I hope today we won't have too much action, I'm sleepy."

"You shouldn't stay up so late programing non-sense." Gateman commented.

"I'm not programing non-sense! I'm sure Dr. Hikari will put my program to good use." Meijin barked, unable to see his navi rolling his eyes at his statement. "Doesn't matter. I still hope nothing big happens today. Netto has exams tomorrow."

"Like that boy would bother studying, anyways." Gateman thought to himself, but prefered not to voice his opinion.

Hours passed between coffee, doughnuts, and the usual investigation. Meijin would always manage to keep himself occupied, wether was programing anything, handling and reviewing reports, and when nobody was looking, he'd be surfing the web for his favorite cars websites.

"Meijin? Are the reports done?" Manabe walked into the control room, smiling warmly to the young man.

"Yep! It's all done already. What time is it?" Meijin asked as he handed a Mini Disc containing his reports.

"It's 6:30pm Time to go home, Meijin." Her smile widened a bit more as she took the disk, "And this time, don't stay up too late, you look so worn out!" Manabe giggled softly at the deep blush that spread across the scientist's cheeks, "I'll see you tomorrow, Meijin-san." She winked and left the room with a big smile on her lips.

"No need for formalities..." He voice spoke softly, in a sing-song tone that made the words sound happy. The young man stretched and turned off the machinery he was working with. "Oh god. I'm so ready for a good bath and some dinner about now. And then, some well deserved sleep!" Meijin ran a hand throw his hair and stood up, today had been another normal day -- that is, considering the kind of unusual adventures he lived through almost every day on the SciLabs.

"Let's go home." He said to himself, skipping happily along the room; picking up a pursue containing his belongings he left the control room.

After driving back home, Meijin turned the lights on, grinning proudly as he went through his stands filled with small collectible toy cars. He pulled a small package with another toy car off his lab coat. Searching through the stands he found the time stamp he was looking for, re-arranging the toys carefully to place the new addition to his collection in the proper place. All his collectibles were arranged by date of production.

Proud of this new addition, he nodded and gave a final glance to his large display of tiny cars. Higure's passion were battle chips, but Meijin's passion were cars, the older they were the more he liked them.

With a sigh, the young man dropped his pursue in the sofa and picked a remote. He walked to the door that connected the house with the garage and pressed a button in the remote, opening a small panel on the floor.

"You know, you're obssesed with that car." Gateman couldn't help but snicker as Meijin climbed down the secret staircase on his garage. The starcase lead to an underground garage where a very antique looking car rested.

"Hey, it's the most antique car I have found to date. And I love to work on its restauration!" Meijin ran a hand over the surface of a car he just knew as the 'Ford 33'.

"I still find it hard to believe humans used to transport around on those things." Gateman was far from impressed with the old vehicle. Meijin's fascination with these old cars was one of those things Gateman just couldn't understand.

About an hour or two later, Meijin dropped himself in bed, exhausted but satisfied after his work with his classic car. "Well, another day sails away. Good Night, Gateman." He turned on the TV as he fixed the covers around himself to try to lulaby himself to sleep.

"Good Night, Meijin-san." Gateman replied and entered his statis mode.

The brown haired man smiled, "There's no need for formalities..."

The only problem I see is in the length. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

This is certainly not bad, Plant.

I really enjoyed how you integrated Meijin's obsession with cars into the vignette. I do not know whether that obsession is implied or supported by the games or anime, but even if it isn't, it helps to add depth to Meijin's character in the story and make him that more animated.

Thank you, comadre, it's pretty neat. I agree with MC, Meijin's fixation with cars was a nice thing to add.

Harr, sorry for the delay! n.n;; Been busy and tired these days. Anyways, onto the requests, Nazne's request. I decided to go for humor this time.

Hello, I love you.

Forte sighed as he sat down in a block of data formed in the depths of the realm of the outcast, the Undernet. He had been running away for several days now, trying to escape the grasp of a powerful force he refused to face. But, what kind of force could make Forte cower in fear and run away?

"The ruler of the Undernet..." Forte muttered in annoyance. What kind of power this so called ruler could possess?

"Oh! Forte, dear! There you are!" A delicate voice echoed around the immensity of the Undernet.

"Not again!" the purple stripped navi growled and stand up, intending to jump away from the block he was resting on. However, someone's hand had other plans and pulled from the cloack wrapped around the black clad navi. Much to his dismay, Forte was forced to meet the ground face to face -- or face to ground, for that matter.

"Aw, are you ok, dear?" A beautiful and delicate navi sat on the fallen Forte's back, poking delicatedly on his helmet. "You have to be more careful!" The navi let out a soft giggle as it floated up, holding Forte by the back of his cloak to help him up.

The red eyed navi was far from happy to see Serenade. "Maybe if you didn't trip me in the first place." He wiggled out of the Undernet's ruler's grasp, shooting a killer glance on its general direction.

Serenade giggled happily at the cloaked navi and held out what looked like a box wraped like a present. "Here, let me make up for that."

Forte glared at the virtual present, debating wether to accept it or not. Finally, his curiosity got the best of him and he reached to take the digital box. After scrutizing it for a few seconds he poked the ribbon on top of the box, triggering its data to dissolve and reveal what looked like a Kawarimi plushie of Forte.

"Isn't it cute?!" Serenade squealed with glee, floating around Forte.

"...Cute is not the adjective I have in mind." The red eyed one replied.

The black eyed navi just giggled, launching itself towards Forte on a loving and breath-taking glomp. "You just like to deny the facts. You. Are. Cute!" With that, Serenade stole a quick kiss from the cloaked one before floating away again.

Forte stood there for a few seconds before he was able to process the event that just occured. He blushed deeply and growled fiercly, throwing the plushie at Serenade. He said nothing but launched after the floating ruler of the Undernet, throwing quick and powerful punches on its direction. Much to his frustration, Serenade dodged each punch without effort at all. The infernal giggle of the other navi was becoming a torture for Forte.

"You need to relax, dear!" Serenade grinned sweetly, and once more, latched onto the cloaked navi. "No need to be shy," Serenade whispered softly and rubbed its cheek against Forte's affectionately.

Forte's face couldn't have been a brighter shade of red at that moment. He couldn't help but shiver nerviously at the affections from the other. This was the power Serenade had that he feared so much. Forte struggled to regain control of himself and wiggled off the black eyed navi's grasp yet again, disappearing as quickly as he could.

Serenade remained floating where it was, tilting its head slightly and blinking at the disappearing figure of its beloved Forte. "He's so cute." With a sweet grin on its lips, Serenade disappeared as well.

Forte was growing tired of the continuious apparitions of the Undernet's Ruler on his path. He was beginning to feel the Undernet wasn't as immense as he was hoping. Anywhere he'd go, Serenade would appear there to torment him with another dose of presents, fluff and attemps to steal a kiss from him.

"There you are!"

Forte grimaced and just dropped to sit on the ground. He figured already that trying to escape would prove futile, so he just braced himself for what was to come. Not long after that, the expected glomp came, and as usual, Forte's face was greeted by the hard and cold ground of the undernet.

"Helloooo!" Serenade greeted and pulled Forte back up in a loving hug, nuzzling him and showering him on other assorted affections.

Forte just sat there, letting out a big sigh. There was no point on running away and try to fight, so he might as well go with the flow.

"You're so quiet today." The black eyed navi blinked curiously, receiving a shrug as only response. "We'll have to do something about it!" Serenade grinned and pulled Forte into another kiss, turning the cloaked navi into the same bright red once more.

Not long after that, any inhabitants of the Undernet that were close enough, could hear a screaming navi, followed by the amused giggle of their ruler.

And over the distance, a rabid, embarrased Forte chased after Serenade, in a routine that became a regular event in the depths of the Undernet.

Whee~~

Awesome. I love it. Serenade didn't seem like the typical ruler-of-whatever from what I've read in the manga, and this utterly insane portrayal of...er, it (<_<) is excellently done. I found a couple of grammar mistakes in the verbs and action category, but otherwise is fully understandable and WTF. :D

Hi, hi, hi, let's see, hmm...maybe one of those rutinal jobs of Miyabi and after finishing it, he does that cool reflexion thingie about how he was foolish to let Shadowman use a Dark Chip and you know the whole thingie, he apologizes, Shadow tells him it was his orders and he would happily die again if Miyabi ordered it (though Dark Chips were what killed him, not Miyabi <<) and he says that once he lost Shadow he really knew how important it was to him,[spoil:cae2f60f4b]Could you please put this before CF Shadowman so we can say their hearts were synched and say the did have a friendship not like some others *cough*CF Magnetman*cough*[/spoil:cae2f60f4b]

Oh my.

Yet another WTF fic, and another WTF pairing. I did imagine Senerade as being female for the duration of the fic, but that was probably my mind trying to make sense of the entire situation. Besides the minor spelling and grammar errors, it still remains a random, out-there fic. Well done.
