it's basically EXE5, with two save files, and extra goodies. You can have a Save for Team of Blues, and Team of Colonel, or both BLues saves (Which is what I have for some reason, or both COlonel saves. :O

Isn't it possible to link the two files you saved? Because if you have two games in one, it becomes even less interesting to need a second cartridge or a second person to get everything...

Nope, you can't link your two saves. :O

Don't see why you'd want to, anyhow. >>

I have a question. What happens in the storyline? How do you determine whether you end up with a Colonel Navi or a ProtoMan Navi? For instance whether you end up facing Dingo or Fyrefox (Nenji) on that cruise ship?

By the way. SwallowMan is the original name of the navi who was changed to LarkMan. FootMan also became GridMan for some reason.

When you start the game you select the file you will save to, then it askes Blues or Colonel. If you choose to play through Blues you get team blues' navis. If you choose Colonel you get the other navis.

That is the reason there is two save files, and you choose Blues or Colonel at the begining. It also determines what chips you can get, Phoenix/Death Phoenix, Cross Divide/Delta Ray Edge, same with the other giga chips that are obviously version specific.

You can swap navis from one version to the other during liberation missions. I witnessed a video where Blues disapeared into a block when the block deterierated Colonal was standing their. You can have 3 navis with you during standard gameplay and swap them out during battle (one has to be Rockman). I witnessed that to. Im assuming you get all souls. I heard something about Forte cross Rockman being in it. You talk into the mic to enter full sincro.

Lies. :O You can't get all the souls in one game. You only get the ones for which game you chose. Also, there's a new emotion called "kiki". It's pink. That's the only time you can blow into the microphone and get Full SYnchro or whatnot.

These are the things you can get by taking advantage of Kiki.

Full Synchro
HP Recovery
Barrier 200

You can also get all three at the same time. XP

You only get Kiki once per battle. it's in place of Fuan, which you get when you're hit a lot without retaliating.

Confused I don't get it! What do you mean by "...which game you chose"?

Do you mean...

1. For example, on the Protoman save file, you will get to use all the souls for Team Protoman?

or...

2. You are only allowed soul unison when you put the specific GBA MMBN5 version on the DS.

or is it...

3. You can't get soul unisons at all on Twin Leaders.

Tell me by # which one is right, please. Thank you! ^_^

Really? Only one set of souls? That saddens me. But all the other stuff I said is true.

Info on ForteCrossRockman and SolCrossRockman:

In the DS game you must first defeat Bass SP in a random battle in Nebula Area 6. Afterwards you are albe to turn Rockmans default form into either ForteCrossRockman Gold, Silver or SolCrossRockman. In order to do this you slide in a copy of one of these three games into your DS's GBA slot: Megaman Battle Network 5: Team Protoman, Megaman Battle Network 5: Team Colonal or Boktai 3. As long as the game is in he slot Rockman's default form will be one of the crosses. Each game will make him a different one: Protoman-FcR Gold, Colonal-FcR Silver, Boktai 3-ScR.

Credits for this info go to MajinTB of GameFaqs.com.

Edit: I took down the link to the guide. Gamefaqs.com apparently doesn't like hotlinking...woopsy ^^;; my bad...

Actually it would be more accurate to say "You can only use Team Protoman's Souls in Team Protoman and only Colonel's Souls in Team Colonel." But yeah...number one is on the money.

One thing to say, you need the Forte mark on your GBA GAME to get FCR, I don't think you need it on Twin Leaders to get it, that would be kinda stupid. In fact I am fairly sure that you don't need it on the DS to get FCR. You probably misunderstood MajinTB

That is what I thought so Doc 2 was incorrect and misunderstood Majin. Well that is good makes it easy to get FCR in the US when DT comes out even though there will probably be no SCR just because there is no release date for Boktai 3.

But unfortunately a bunch of noobs will beable to get a way with calling it Bass Megaman, or Bass Cross Megaman, or even Bass Soul. What ever name it gets in the US games. Well at least no legit way for a Django Soul in the US version yet thankfully.

I like how you criticize noobs of being able to get away with calling FCR Bass Megaman, or Bass Cross Megaman, or Bass Soul, and then you say Django Soul. It's almost hypocritical.

I compleatly understand that its not called bass soul or bass cross megaman but why exacly can you not say bass cross megaman? It just seams like the NA version of saying it. I mean when the NA game comes out they're not gonna keep the japanese name are they?

You can't called it "Bass Cross Megaman" Because it doesn't exist yet. Once the game comes out in the US though, it will exist. But for now, the only existing "Crosses" are Forte Cross Rockman. And Django Cross Rockman.
