Woo, once again it's been a while between updates. Well, that's what moving can do to ya, really cut down on your time. Anyway, feeling inspired today, I cranked out three little avatar and/or banner things, all using Legends stuff (and even a slight play on the word/game series in one of them xD; ). And I've decided to pair them with another banner I did the other day. To round out the post, I'm putting in a bit of OT art I did, that I think is pretty cute. Anyway, here we go ^^

EDIT: If you can't see them, blame Photobucket, it's not showing them right now. If they're not up still tomorrow, I'm going to do something about it but otherwise, just give it time.

First, the banner I did the other day. It's kind of lazy, even with the watermarkish thing up in the corner, but oh well ^^; Admittedly it was inspired by DarkMega's signature (both text and the banner Hikari Angel(I think) did for DM) so thanks for the inspiration ^^ I'll probably do another, better, version of this later, though I'm not sure what I'll do to it...

Wanting to use a picture I'd found at the Legends Station, I decided to make avatars out of it. It gave me A LOT of trouble, but I like how they both came out. The first one I'm currently using at my LJ, though the second is my favorite. However, like 99% of my stuff, they're perfectly free-use ^^

*snickers* This...this is nothing but a gag banner, incredibly lazy and meant to be XDXD My friend Pup and I were going through screenshots at the Station the other day, and giving them humorous captions. This particular shot isn't from that site, but it is with the caption I gave it. So, bored, I made a banner out of it. I don't really expect anyone to use it, but I put it up anyway Laughing

Lastly is the off-topic picture. If you've ever seen Code Lyoko, you'll recognize the figure on the left as Odd (albeit an older version). The character on the right is one of mine, obliging the kitty by giving him a little scritch. You can read more on the pic, if you'd like, by clicking here and checking out its DA page. Like the topic title currently says, remember those bad BN3 jokes? You know the ones: give Megaman the "Humor" program, press L1 a few times, and lose a few brain cells because the puns are so bad xD. Anyway... I drew out a couple of them, so be prepared to lose a few more brain cells xD When I get BN4 (as I think Humor is in there too, right?..) I'll probably wind up doing the same thing...

In "spore" taste.

(Personally, I think the third one is the best, but that's just me ;P ^^')

A couple more comments about the pics. All three of them were done intentionally sketchy, so all of the lines aren't there. But the text is, and where it wasn't I retyped it in the Description section of the pic at DA (speaking of, don't forget to read those). And also, I've got more planned, so I'll probably post those here as well xD

And for a non-deadly puns pic, here's a drawing of Cutman and an RP character, Janken, that I did earlier. Yay =P

I found those jokes to be funny but I never played BN3 so that may be why.

I think rock has a little too many bad puns and they're starting to be a second language....

Still the art is very well done, with the added bonus of the puns to add a little spice of humor.... Well done!

One of these days I'm going to do more BN3 stuff. Until then, this drawing, and these avatars and banner for free use, will have to do ;P

This is one I'm currently using over at my LJ. After seeing this screenshot from the Commander Beef episode for the first time, I knew I wanted to use it for something. I just didn't get a chance to until the episode actually aired here xD; I may change the text in the future to something less bold...

I didn't even have to resize this one XD A Mettool avatar, cut from one of my BN3 comics (specifically, the "Data way!" one). Just because I liked the way the Met turned out ;P ^^

This is the third version of a Legends avatar I've been tweaking around with, using the same image as the two I posted a couple posts ago. The previous versions are below; personally I like the third one better, although I'm going to continue messing around with it until I get it perfect. I'm still not much happy with it...

Part of a set I made earlier tonight, with screenshots courtesy of HubHikari. The blurring on the banner was a pain (I had to hand do it, as none of the available filters I had gave the desired effect) and the text on the avatar is kind of hard to see, but I'm rather liking them both overall ^^

Lastly, a picture of Zero I sketched out today, piecing it together one bit of armor at a time from the instruction booklets for X5 and X6. Not bad for a first try with his armor on, huh?

Quick little update today. After talks with a friend last night, I was in a mood to draw a soft shounen-ai pic. The subjects of our IM, X and Zero, were to be the pairing. Although I'd never drawn X before and had only done Zero twice, I still went through with the pic, although from looking at it you can see I didn't draw their armor xD; (Hey, I'll do so once I've actually drawn X and gotten good at both him and Zero). But since I think I did pretty well with the base emotion, and if you ask me Zero looks great, so I'm pretty happy with this pic ^^

The comics are hilarious! I love Mega's face expression in the third panel of the "Spore" one. Nice job!

Um...I hate to ask this, but, were you still working on the animated Bass signature pic for Forte's Girl? I think...you forgot...But thats alright! I was just wondering...

This is nothing much, just a sketch of a chibi X holding the Z-Saber. Some of the lines aren't completely visible, and I forgot lines in other places, but it's a sketch xD And it's cute, I think. So it doesn't matter =P

Wow, I actually updated xD And it's with another drawing =P Because I don't feel like typing it out again, I'll copy/paste in the pic's same description from over at DeviantArt.

""ChibiCutman" is a nickname I use in the #RockmanexeOnline IRC chat room, usually when I'm feeling a bit down or, conversely, cutesy (This is compared to my normal nicks of "Roll_Soul" and "Cutman"). And well...Going with something I said in #REO the other day, I decided to draw it xD ^^ Chibified Cutman really doesn't look that different than regular Cutman, but I think it's cute nonetheless ^^

The background was L.A.Z.Y. (and so was the shading) but I had to add in something. And yes, it's Classic Cutman-style holding a (more or less) Quickman.EXE plushie (and a badly done one at that). I don't know why one from one series is holding the plushie of one from another, but ah well xD ^^"
