Here it is. Like the topic says, this is my first attempted fanart (or at least that I've decided to post, everything else sucked.). Also, I did all of this on Paint. Enough silly ranting! Here he is:
So... anyone wanna comment?

Your color usage is correct, when looking at official pieces, but i strongly suggest studying the lines a bit more on official art pieces.

I think I know what you mean, but I was looking at a Bandai model of X for the idea of how to draw his head, I knew something was weird about it. Is it his helmet? As for the whole color usage thing, that's because I took the colors from an official piece. I'm gonna take your advice and go look at PMM's image gallery. EDIT: V2 is finished:
