Yeah, that would be a horrible tragedy. However, to celebrate the fact that nothing happened, and that my fic has reached page six and now has a green mystery data sign, CHAPTER 20!!! It may get a little boring when the finalists are announced in the tournament. Sorry about that.

Chapter 20:After Hyoga: The Ragnarok Tournament!

The navis disappeared into the PETs after the cyberworld vanished. Netto slowly walked over to Fuyuki's headband. He picked it up in his hands.

"Fuyuki...you asshat..." Netto said.

"You didn't have to sacrifice yourself...I'm sure there was another way..." Rockman said.

All of the others decided Netto and Rockman should be left alone, so they silently made their way out of the temple. Netto clenched the headband in his fist.

"We both thought we were strong...but in the end, we couldn't even stop one single death..." The boy said.

Both of them left the temple.

A few hours later, they had all returned home. Everyone decided to go in. Netto explained everything to his parents. The Hikari Family decided to go to bed early that night. Netto and Rockman were still awake, even at 1:00 AM.

"Rockman? I can't sleep." Netto said.

"Me neither. But then again, we did just see our brother, as well as a good friend, go up in flames, didn't we?" Rockman said.

"Yeah. It's hard to believe Fuyuki and Starman are gone. No more of his jokes, no more of his help, no more...anything from them. It sucks, big time." Netto said.

"Yeah...well, we should at least try to get to sleep. We can't change what's happened." Rockman said.

Netto nodded.

"Yeah...well, good-night." He said. The boy turned around and was asleep within minutes.

Netto saw bright sky all around him. He saw land below him, far below him. It was like looking down from an airplane window.

"Where am I?" Netto asked.

"Just the scenery for your dream, which is kinda wierd, really." Said a voice Netto knew all too well.

He looked forward and saw the a figure who he thought he'd never see again.

"Fuyuki?" Netto asked.

"Hey, little bro." Fuyuki said. "How's it going?"

"How the...aren't you supposed to be dead?"

"Well, yeah. But this is your dream, so I'm talking to you from the dead from it."

Fuyuki raised his arms and said "WOOO! Pretty scary, huh?"

Netto laughed.

"You jerk." He said.

Fuyuki replied "Here's the real thing: Even though I'm dead, that won't seperate us. I'm your brother, and I promise to come back."

Netto replied "I don't know how...but I know you're telling the truth." Fuyuki nodded.

He walked up to his younger brother.

"Besides, it's boring being dead. I promise to come back, but until then, I'll be watching you." Fuyuki replied.

He hugged his brother.

"Alright...I'll be waiting." Netto said.

Both of them let go eachother.

"Just one question: Where's Starman?" Netto asked.

"Oh...he's in Rockman's dream, telling him the same thing. Except without the hugging. That would look like shounen-ai.'' Fuyuki said.

"Tell everyone I said hi. Well, see ya."

Fuyuki shimmered and vanished.

Netto woke up.

"Woah..." He said.

"Did Fuyuki visit your dreams?" Rockman asked.

"Yeah...he says hi. You got Starman, right?" Netto asked.

Rockman nodded.

"We should go back to sleep. Tomorrow's the Ragnarok Tournament." Netto said. Both of them went to sleep.

The next day the group of friends all went to the stadium.

"You guys ready for this?'' Netto asked.

Everyone said yes. They all proceeded into the fighting arena for the elimination round.

1 hour later...

"Good day, everyone! I'm Kero, and I'm the announcer for this tournament!" Kero said.

"Oh geez...they had to pick the annoying person as the announcer." Enzan said.

"The elimination round is over! These are the 25 finalists for the Ragnarok Tournament!" Kero shouted.

The giant screen in the stadium lit up, showing a picture of the netop and navi who Kero announced on it.

"Our first finalist is known for saving Earth countless times: Netto Hikari and his navi, Rockman!" Kero shouted.

Cheers bursted out everywhere.

"Next is an independent navi who has no known information other than his name: Flow.EXE!"

"What the-how did he survive?" Katya asked.

"Beats me." Netto said.

"Our third finalist is a young girl who helped take down Storm and the Band of Darkness: Katya Turner and her navi, Cyclone!"

More cheers.

"Fourth is another man who needs no introduction: Ijjuin Enzan and his navi, Blues!"

Several cheers erupted.

"Fifth is another independent navi, and this one's a mercenary. Bankotsu!"

"Hey, Bankotsu made it!" Lauren said.

"We haven't seen him in a long time, have we?" Rockman asked.

"Sixth is a young girl full of energy and battle spirit, Kamoka Lauren and her navi, Trill!"

Lauren shouted "OMG YAYZ!"

Enzan slapped her.

"Calm down you crazy thing." He said.

"Seventh, a young army officer from Shaaro, Laika and Searchman!"

"YAY LAIKIE-CHAN!!!" Lauren shouted.

"I said calm down!" Enzan said.

"Eighth, a dashing young man who comes from an unknown area, Cyrus Nova and his monstrous navi, Duo!"

"YAY! CYRUS MADE IT! NOW I GET TO UNLEASH MY DIVINE WRATH ON HIM!" Lauren shouted.

"I warned you: Now we do it the hard way." Enzan said.

He pulled out a tazer and zapped Lauren.

"Ninth, a young man from an indian tribe, Dingo and his navi, Tomahawkman!"

"Alright, more people I know!" Netto said.

"Tenth, a young ship captain who's been toughened by the seas, Cid Nautilus and his navi, Freighterman!" Kero said.

"Huh, never heard of him before." Netto said.

"Eh, how hard can a navi named Freighterman be?" Lavis said, which gained him a few chuckles from his friends.

"Eleventh, a young freelance pilot, Charlie Airster and his navi, Gyroman!"

"Awesome, Charlie's here, too!" Netto said.

"Twelveth, a mysterious young man who showed great skill in the preliminaries, Lavis and his navi, Dark!"

Lavis smiled.

"Wonder who I'll be facing?" He asked.

"Thirteenth, a mysterious no-nonsense man, Miyabi Dark and his navi, Shadowman!"

''Dark is here as well. This could be fun." Enzan said.

"Fourteenth, a young man from Netopia, Barrel and his navi, Colonel!" Kero announced.

"Oh, wouldn't it be cool if Colonel versed Blues?" Katya asked.

"Heh, yeah. We'd get to see who's better at swords." Netto said.

"I bet Colonel would win." Lauren said.

"Oh shut up, all of you." Enzan said.

"Fifteenth is the man who developed navis himself, Yuiichiro Hikari and his navi, Serenade!"

"Holy..." Netto said.

"Dad's here too?" Rockman asked.

"Sixteenth is a mother who can cook, clean, and netbattle all very well, Haruka Hikari and her navi, Axl!"

"Mom too?!?" Netto asked.

"Ah well. I want to face Axl, so this should be fun." Rockman said.

"Eighteenth, a man who has a passion for firey exploding things, Nenji and Napalmman!"

"Woah, Nenji made it." Netto said.

"Wonder what'll happen if Napalmman fights Cyclone, since she is partly water element?" Rockman asked.

''I'll kick his ass, that's what!" Cyclone said.

"Nineteenth, an independent navi who has plenty of power at her disposal, Slur!"

"Aw man, She's gonna be disappointed when she hears about Starman." Netto said.

"Twentieth, a young netbattler who has a navi famous to us all, Shun Obihiro and his navi, the Black Shadow, Forte!"

"Shun and Forte made it. Cool." Lavis said.

"Twenty-First, a scientist at SciLab who just recently started helping Dr.Hikari, Dr.Regal and his navi, Laserman!" Kero said.

"Regal's here, huh? Well, at least his memory is erased." Enzan said.

"Twenty-Second, A student at Akihara Elementary, Meiru Sakurai and her navi, Roll!"

"Roll made it too? Wow, she must've been improving." Netto said.

"Yeah. Wonder what new attacks she has?" Rockman asked.

"Twenty-Third, Both of these two will pound all who get in their way, Dekao and Gutsman!"

"Hey, Gutsman and Dekao made it, look like we'll have to beat them, huh, Rock?" Netto asked.

Rockman nodded.

"Oh geez, Netto's already started on his battle plan against Gutsman." Lauren said.

"Twenty-Fourth, a navi whose name coincidentally rhymes with a popular rap song, uh...Rubber-BandMan!"

Everyone burst out laughnig.

"Oh shut up!!!" A voice shouted, most likely Rubber-BandMan's voice.

"And lastly, we have an independent navi who has great speed that's unmatched, Larkman!"

"And now that we have introduced them all, let the first match, Lavis and Dark versus Dr.Regal and Laserman!" Kero announced.

Everyone cheered. Lavis and Regal walked up to the stage.

"Let's make this a good fight." Lavis said. "Alright. May the best netop and navi win." Regal said, and they both plugged in their navis.

Chapter 21:Fight on!

Dark and Laserman appeared.

"Battle, Start!" Kero shouted.

"Dark Vulcan, Slot-in!" Lavis said.

Dark's arm melted into the machinegun. He aimed it at Laserman.

"Dark Sword, Slot-in!" Regal said, and slotted in the the darkchip.

Laserman leapt at Dark and tried to slash, but the other navi vanished and appeared behind Laserman. Dark fired the deadly machine, all of the rounds hitting Laserman in the back. Laserman stuck out his hand and shot a laser at Dark, who was enveloped by it. However, when the laser stopped, Dark had an aura around him.

"Gotta love that Dark Aura." Lavis said.

"Air Burst!" Dark shouted, and flung his hand out, creating a huge burst of wind. Laserman dodged it, but was hit by a tornadoe created by Dark. He landed on his feet.

"Flaming Dragon Rage!" Dark shouted, and launched the flaming beast from his index finger.

"Oh man, Laserman doesn't stand a chance." Netto said.

Laserman dodged the dragon repeatedly.

"Guard 3! Slot-in!" Regal said, and a shield appeared on Laserman's arm.

He held it up and the dragon smashed into it. The dragon then flew off and smashed into a surprised Dark, who was burnt severely.

"What the-did he just deflect that?" Netto asked.

"Apparently. Laserman isn't as weak as Wraithman was." Enzan said.

"Well, I just wanna see what else Dark has up his sleeve." Rockman said, anxious to see all of his friends attacks.

"Dark Hole!" Dark threw out an expanding hole that sucked everything up.

"CrossLaser!" Laserman shouted, and blasted the hole into oblivion.

Dark smirked. He charged up his energy.

"DarkPlus, Slot-in!" Lavis said.

Dark pulled out his twin busterguns.

"What the, he's stealing my attacks!" Forte said.

"Oblivion Beam!" Dark shouted, and blasted a huge black, grey, and white beam out of both busters.

Laserman was caught off guard, and deleted by the blast.

"Laserman deleted! Dark wins!" Kero shouted.

Both of the opponents walked off stage. Lavis walked up to where his friends were sitting.

"Hey guys." He said.

"Lavis, great match! You too, Dark!" Netto said.

"Thanks. Laserman was kinda easy, really." Lavis replied.

"Next match: Enzan and Blues versus Cid and Freighterman!" Kero said.

Both of them walked on stage.

"Just to let you know, sonny, I don't plan on losing this." Cid said.

"Really? Cause you're navi looks pretty weak to me." Enzan replied back.

"Oh yeah? I'll show you!" Cid replied.

They both plugged their navis in. Blues looked up at the gigantic navi before him. He looked like a cross between a generic navi and a freighter. He was much taller than Blues was.

"Ready to be crushed, you puny thing?" Freighterman said.

Blues laughed, and jumped up.

"NeoVari, Slot-in!" Enzan said.

Blues's arm melted into the glowing shifting sword.

"CrossSword!" Blues shouted, and slashed Freighterman twice.

The huge navi stumbled back from the blow.

"Oh c'mon, don't tell me you're already giving up?" Blues said after he landed.

"Not a chance!" Freighterman said.

The gigantic navi leapt up high into the air.

"Freighter Crash!" He shouted, and the navi shifted into a huge boat the flew down at Blues.

The swordsman looked up, and merely stepped to the side. Freighterman crashed into the ground without harming Blues at all. Freighterman tried to move in his boat form but he couldn't.

"Um...why can't I move?" He asked.

"You're a boat-a freighter, to be exact. Boats can't move without water, dipshit." Blues said.

"Oh...could you please turn the field into water so I can delete you?" Freighterman asked.

"Hell no." Blues said.

"Damn." Freighterman said.

"Blues, finish off that pathetic excuse for a navi." Enzan said.

"With pleasure." Blues said, and his arm morphed back to his default sword.

"Delta Ray Edge!" Blues shouted, and did his signature triangle slash attack, deleting Freighterman.

"Freighterman is deleted! Blues wins!" Kero announced, and everyone cheered.

Enzan walked back up to where his friends were.

"That was stupid." He said.

"At least you got an easy win." Katya said.

"I think that's why he thought it was stupid, Katya." Netto said.

"DON'T CORRECT ME!!!" she shouted, and whacked Netto with Cyclone's PET.

"Hey! I am not a tool for whacking your boyfriend!" Cyclone shouted.

"Match 3! Laika and Searchman versus Flow!"

"YAY LAIKIE CHAN!" Lauren shouted.

"Do I need to zap you again?!?" Enzan asked.

"You do and I send your soul to hell!" Lauren replied.

Laika walked to the stage and plugged Searchman in, where Flow was waiting for him.

"You...you're friends with those brats, aren't you?" Flow asked.

"If by 'those brats,' you mean Netto Hikari and all of his friends and navis, then yes." Laika said.

"I'll delete your puny navi, so I can move up to get my revenge on them!" Flow said.

Suddenly a target appeared on Flow's chest.

"What the @%^$?" He asked.

"Scope Gun!" Searchman said, and fired several rounds into Flow.

"Okay, NOW YOU DIE!" Flow said.

He slashed the air with his sword, sending the huge energy wave he used against Rockman at Searchman.

"Barrier 200, Slot-in." Laika said calmly, putting in the chip.

The passed by Searchman, not harming him at all. Another target
appeare on Flow.

"Satellite Beam!" Searchman shouted.

A satellite appeared and blasted Flow.

"Urgh...Dark Bridge!" Flow shouted, and turned bright orange.

He created copies of himself, and darted all around Searchman.

"Which one of us is real? Does an idiot like you know?" Flow asked.

Searchman merely smirked.

"Laika, may I test out that new 'thing' we obtained?" Searchman asked.

"Alright. Activate TrillSoul." Laika said.

Searchman's feature blended in with Trills.

"YAY!!! WE'RE HELPING HIM!!!" Lauren and Trill shouted.

Enzan's hand twitched as it layed near the taser in his pocket.

"Damn. Who would've thought Searchman could do Soul Unison?" Netto said.

"This oughta be cool!" Rockman said.

"It looks interesting enough." Dark said.

Searchman's new wings flapped really hard and blasted all of the flow copies. They all vanished, and only the real remained.

"Urk..." Flow said.

Five targets all appeared and locked onto Flow.

"Divine Snipe!" Searchman shouted, and launched a series of shining, powered up Scope Blasts at Flow, deleting him.

"Too easy." Searchman said, and reverted back to normal.

The most she's done is give a black eye with her foot once. and I have the same problem with a cousin, but he has so much ego in the way. OMg. I feel like a moron. I haven't posted in FOREVER. Well, hopefully these two will make up for it.

Chapter 21: Great Battles of the Ragnarok

Laika plugged Searchman out and walked off stage. Soon after, the first round was finished.

"We now move onto Round 2, the Team Battle Round! Two Netops and Navi will be teamed up to fight another team! Here are the standings!" Kero said, and the giant screen lit up showing the teams.

Netto Hikari/Rockman and Katya Turner/Cyclone versus Yuiichiro Hikari/Serenade and Haruka Hikari/Axl was displayed.

"Hey Netto, we're versin your parents!" Katya said.

"Oh man...If I don't win, I'll be booted from the tournament, and if I win, I'll probably be grounded..." Netto said, full of worry.

Ijuiin Enzan/Blues and Bankotsu versus Kamoka Lauren/Trill and Laika/Searchman appeared on sceen.

"Man, why do I have to face the lovely couple?" Enzan said.

"Shut the hell up, skunk-head!" Lauren said.

"Angel Asswipe!" Enzan shouted back.

Lauren leapt at Enzan.

"BRING IT ON!!" Enzan shouted, and the two of them started beating up eachother in a cartoon-like fashion, with the dust cloud and random punching.

Lavis/Dark and Barrel/Colonel versus Dekao/Gutsman and Meiru/Roll appeared.

"Oh geez." Netto said.

"I feel sorry for Gutsman and Roll. They're being pitted against some of the strongest navis out there." Enzan said, who was done fighting with Lauren, and had barely any injuries.

Neither did Lauren.

Cyrus Nova/Duo and Slur versus Miyabi Dark/Shadowman and Nenji/Napalmman appeared onscreen.

"That looks like it's gonna be a good match." Lavis said.

"The final match isn't a teammatch, but a normal match! Dingo and Tomahawkman versus Larkman!" Kero said.

"The other contestants, Shun and Forte, will automatically advance!" She held up her hand.

"Battles, start!" The navis all plugged in.

Axl pulled out his twin guns.

"Charge Revolver!" Axl shouted, and charged his guns. He shot out several charged bullets.

"That's a new attack!" Rockman said.

He jumped the shots.

"SaitoStyle!" Rockman said, and transformed.

Cyclone's arm melted into a fan.

"Dust Tornado!!!" Cyclone said, and sent a gigantic tornado attack at Axl.

He jumped and hovered over it. He aimed his guns down at Cyclone. he fired them both at her.

"Saito Blast!" Rockman shouted, and blasted it at Serenade.

She grinned.

"Do you remember what happened last time you tried this against me?" Serenade asked.

Rockman said "Nope!" And jumped up towards Axl.

Serenade caught the oncoming Saito Blast and reflected it back at Rockman. Rockman folded his arms and several energy waves around him appeared. Suddenly he vanished.

"What the-AXL! LOOK OUT!!!" Serenade shouted.

Axl looked but didn't have enough time to dodge as the reflected Saito Blast hit him. He was knocked back.

"Z-Saber! Slot-in!” Netto shouted, and slotted in the chip.

“Tornado! Slot-in!” Katya said.

“Saint’s Rapier! Slot-in!” Yuiichiro said, and slotted in his new battlechip.

“Dual Vulcans! Slot-in!” Haruka said, slotting in another new battlechip.

Serenade’s arm melted into a glowing bright cyber rapier. Axl’s arms melted into two Super-Vulcans. Serenade and Rockman dashed at eachother and swordfought, their blades clashing and occasionally striking the navis. Cyclone and Axl were fighting as well.

Only present in the battle machine Rockman, Netto, Katya, Cyclone, Serenade, Yuiichiro, Axl, and Haruka were using, was a mysterious independent navi. He had spiked hair that was several shades of purple, the colors flowing along, not one staying in one place. His eyes, the only part of his face aside from the skin visible aside from his skin, was gold. He had a bright lavender cloak on. Several blue flame-like souls floated around him. He was watching the battle below him with interest.

“Fight on...” He said.

Axl fired all of the rest of the rounds in his vulcan at Cyclone. They all hit her and flung her back.

“Okay, you know what? I’m getting pretty pissed off right now.” She said.

Cylone thrust out her hand.

“KAZANA!!!” Cyclone shouted, and a black hole opened up on her hand.

In a blatant Inuyasha ripoff style she sucked everything from the area into the hole. (Yes, I know Cyclone already ahd a move called Wind Tunnel, so I made this a more powerful version.) Axl was pulled towards it.

“What the-?” He said, and tried to hover away, but it pulled him.

Right before he was sucked into the void, Cyclone sealed it. She then proceeded to kick and punch the living snot out of Axl. After the final upwards kick, she opened the Wind Tunnel again, but this time in reverse direction, thrusting Axl into the spikes on the walls of the arena. Axl logged out. Meanwhile, Rockman was still swordfighting Serenade. Serenade and Rockman got into a deadlock. Suddenly Serenade thrust her palm into rockman’s chest.

“Surprise.” She said. “DIVINE WRATH!!!”

The green energy burst flew out of her hands, and hurt Rockman severely. He got back up. Serenade warped around, throwing glowing blasts at Rockman while she did. Rockman dodged them all.

“Waitaminute...Netto!”

Rockman told Netto his plan.

“Gotcha! Sanctuary! HolyDream! Slot-in!!!” Netto said, and slotted the chips in.

The whole area turned into HolyPanels, and Rockman’s gun glowed. He blasted 19 energy bursts at Serenade. she reflected one, but as she was doing so, the other 18 pelted her. Serenade fell backwards.

“Forte Cross Rockman, Activate!” Netto said.

Rockman turned into his silver FCR.

“Hell’s Rolling!’’ Rockman shouted, and pelted Serenade with a dark wheel, logging her out.

“Rockman and Katya advance!” Kero said.

The mysterious navis with souls floating around him watched as Rockman and Cyclone plugged out.

“To the next round.” He said.

The other fights were drawing to a close. Blues and Bankotsu were doing really good against Trill, better than expected.

"Banyrusen!!!" Bankotsu shouted, and flung his sword into the ground, creating a huge shockwave that flew at Searchman.

The military navi jumped and avoided it.

"Gotcha." A voice behind Searchman said.

Blues appeared behind him and used a Sonic Boom on Searchman, logging him out.

"SEARCHIE-KUN!!!" Trill shouted.

"NOW YOU DIE!!" "Is she always like this?" Bankotsu asked.

"More than you would know." Blues said

"Wolf Cannon!" Trill shouted, and her arm morphed into her signature wolf-head shaped cannon.

"Team Program Advance!" Blues said.

"Activate!" Bankotsu said.

Both of them slashed Trill with two powerful slashes in different drections, forming an x-shape.

"X Strike!!!" Trill was logged out.

"Bankotsu and Blues win!" Kero shouted.

The two swordsman high-fived eachother. Dark and Colonel were easily defeating Gutsman and Roll. Colonel wiped out Roll with a Screen Divide.

''I ain't losing to no pretty boy!" Gutsman said.

"Pretty boy?" Dark said. "Okay, that's it. File Corruption!"

Dark held up his hands and created a huge wire-frame head, and tossed it down onto Gutsman. It logged the navi out and corrupted his movement ability.

"Wasn't that a little too harsh?" Colonel asked.

"He called me pretty boy, so I consider that justified." Dark said.

"Dark and Colonel win!" Kero shouted out.

Duo and Slur were having no problems with Shadowman and Gyroman. Slur's fist morphed into fists identical to Duo's.

"Just like we practiced, Duo. You help out as well, Slur.'' Cyrus said.

Both of them nodded.

"MeteorKnuckle!" They both shouted, and proceeded to launch what seemed like an unlimited storm of punches at the two.

Napalmman was logged out, but Shadowman barely survived.

"Bakuen!" he shouted, and unleashed a firewave towards Slur.

She vanished and it hit Duo, but it did no visible damage. Slur reappeared behind Duo with her wire sword in her hands.

"Good-bye." She said, and slashed into Shadowman.

Shadowman logged out.

"Slur and Duo win!" Kero once again said.

Tomahawkman had just finished off Larkman with a Tomahawk Swing.

"Tomahawkman wins!''

The mysterious navi was watching the advancements made in the Tournament matches.

"The battle draws closer to a close...soon, I will know who the one is." He said.

Chapter 23:Ragnarok's end draws near.

The layout of Round 3 went something like this: Rockman VS Cyclone, Blues VS Bankotsu, Duo VS Slur, Dark VS Colonel and Tomahawkman VS Forte.

"Greeeaaat...I'm up against Forte. Am I screwed, or what?" Tomahawkman said.

"Yeah, this isn't exactly to our advantage." Dingo said.

"Aw, don't worry. Even if you do lose, you'll know his attacks so you can beat him next time!" Katya said.

"Yeah, but Forte and I will still own him." Shun said.

"We'll be starting in reverse order! forte versus Tomahawkman is the first match!" Kero shouted.

"That's our cue." Forte said.

Dingo and Shun walked to the netbattle machine.

"Battle, start!" Forte dashed at Tomahawkman.

"Tomahawk Swing!" Forte dodged the slash and clapped his arms together, Edward Elric-styled.

"Dark Bomb!" Forte said, and opened his hands, unleashing several dark missles.

"That's a new attack!" Tomahawkman said, dodging it.

"We're gonna need maximum power, huh, Dingo?" Dingo nodded.

"Zodiac! Slot-in!" Tomahawkman went into his Zodiac form.

"Tomahawk Orbit!" The indian-esque navi shouted, and hurled two tomahawks boomerang styled at Forte.

He laughed and dodged them.

"Darkness Overload!" Forte shouted, and unleashed the attack.

"That attack wasn't meant to hit you, Forte!" Tomahawkman shouted, dodging the Darkness Overload.

"Look behind you!" Forte turned to see the two Tomahawks fuse into a bigger one.

"Oh...'' Forte said.

The new attack, Tomahawk Metteor, smashed into Forte. He was knocked down, hurt.

"Bamboo Lance Storm!" He heard his opponent shout.

Forte teleported just in time to save himself from logging out. He reappeared right in front of Tomahawkman.

"TankCannon3! Slot-in!" Dingo said.

Tomahawkman's right arm morphed into a gigantic cannon, which blasted Forte.

"Oh yeah? well take this! Chaos Nightmare!" Forte shouted, and hurled the gigantic energy blast at Tomahawkman.

It hit him square-on. The navi merely grunted and got back up. He dashed up to Forte.

"Tomahawk Omnislash!" he shouted, and slashed up Forte with his two tomahawks. Forte smashed into the ground.

"Shun, should we use our little 'surprise' on them?" Forte asked.

"Yeah, why not?" Shun said.

Forte got up.

"You know about my 'Get-ability' Program, right?" Forte asked.

"Yeah, why?" Tomahawkman replied.

"Then you won't be surprised when I tell you I've copied one of Hyoga's attacks?" Forte said.

"No way." Tomahawkman said, eyes wide.

"World of Chaos!!" Forte flung the dark energy ball at Tomahawkman.

It hit the indian-esque navi, logging him out.

"Ladies and gentlemen, that ass whooping was brought to you by Shun and Forte." The cloaked navi said, grinning.

"Forte with a sense of humor. Who knew?" Katya said.

"Hey, does that mean the world will end?" Netto asked.

"Forte wins!'' Kero shouted.

Both Shun and Dingo went back to their seats.

"Good match, to the both of you." Enzan said.

"Thanks...even though I lost, it was fun." Dingo said.

"Still, he's got one of Hyoga's attacks!" Tomahawkman said.

"I do what I can." Forte said smugly.

"Next match! Blues vs Bankotsu!" Kero said.

Enzan walked onto the stage and plugged in Blues. Bankotsu was already waiting.

''Let's make this a good fight, k?" Bankotsu said.

"Alright. Go!" Blues said.

Bankotsu jumped up and held his halberd high.

"Grave Quake!!!" Bankotsu said and smashed the halberd into the ground, sending several large shockwaves at Blues.

The red navi dodged them all and sent a Sonic Boom at Bankotsu. The mercenary spun his halberd in a circle, deflecting it. Blues dodged and teleported in front of Bankotsu, slashing him. Bankotsu was kncoked back, but when he hit the ground he backflipped and landed back on his feet.

"Alright then...Lunar Lance!" He shouted, and thrust his halberd straight out.

It sent a C-shaped shockwave at Blues, who dodged it. An aura formed around Bankotsu. The aura shaped itself into the outline of a man carrying a spear. This man had a hat on that looked like cockroach antenna's. The aura stood behind Bankotsu for awhile, then it sepped into Bankotsu's halberd. The sword glowed green.

"Rage of Lu Bu!" Bankotsu shouted, and ran at Blues faster than the eyes could see, spinning his halberd like an oversized shuriken.

Each spinning blow hit Blues, Bankotsu finished it off by thrusting his halberd into Blues, thrusting the halberd up, tossing Blues off of it, and then striking him 4 times before smashing into the ground. Bankotsu's halberd lost it's glow.

"Recov80, NeoVari! Slot-in!" Enzan said.

Blues was healed, not fully, but enough. His arm melted into the glowing sword. Both he and Bankotsu started to slash at eachother, flashes of light and sparks flying out whenever the blades hit.

"Double LifeSword!" Blues shouted, and slashed into Bankotsu twice. Bankotsu grunted in pain and fell back.

"Alright, no more playing around." Bankotsu said, and got up, dashing at Blues.

The red swordsman slashed at Bankotsu, but hit nothing as the navi suddenly vanished.

"Dragon Hammer Strike!" Bankotsu shouted from above.

Blues looked up to see Bankotsu with his blade pointed down at the red navis head flying down at him. Bankotsu and his halberd had a dragon spirit circling them. Blues tried to run but it was too late. The mercenary stuck the red navi, creating a large explosion, accompanied by a roar. When the explosion cleared, Bankotsu was the all one left, Blues had logged out.

"Winner:Bankotsu!!!" Kero said.

"That makes 10000 wins for me in my whole lifetime!" Bankotsu said.

Chapter 24:The Fights Drag On.

"Duo versus Slur! Battle, start!" Kero said.

Two wire swords appeared in each of Slur's hand.

"Sange and Yasha!" she shouted, and dashed at Duo, slashing at him in a combo.

Duo couldn't block all of the hits, being so large and Slur being so small.

"Duo Missles!" Duo shouted, and blasted Slur with white missles.

She was hit by all of them, her wire swords disappated. Slur grunted, and white energy formed around her. The energy formed into a huge white dragon, and crashed into Duo, damaging him. Duo strafed back, and shot his Duo Laser at her.

"Energy Shield!" She shouted, and a white orb protected her from harm.

It vanished and Slur dashed at Duo.

"Do you think you can defeat the one who created the both you and Duo?" Cyrus asked.

"Full Synchro!" Duo and Cyrus glowed.

All of the sudden, Duo vanished and appeared behind Slur.

"Sword, WideBlade, LongBlade! Slot-in!'' Cyrus said. "LifeSword!"

Duo's fist turned into a GIGANTIC LifeSword.

"Oh, shitty." Slur said, and was stricken by the blade.

She fell to the ground.

"JusticeOne!" Duo shouted, and sent his fist flying down at Slur.

She closed her eyes. When nothing happened, she opened her eyes. Duo's fist was being held back from hitting her by a navi Slur cared about more than anyone else: Starman. He had a slight blue tint to him, though, and was invisible. He was holding back Duo's fist with one hand.

"Starman...?" Slur asked.

Starman looked back at her. He smiled, and turned back. Starman forced Duo's fist backwards, making the colossal navi punch himself in the face. Starman then vanished.

"Duo, what happened?" Cyrus asked.

"I don't know...something threw my punch back at me..." The gigantic navi said, shocked.

Slur smiled.

"Thank you, Starman." She said, and got back up.

Slur dashed at Duo and kicked the navi square in the jaw, then she punched his chest hard, sending him flying backwards.

Duo recovered from the blow and said "Slur, I know this is completely off topic, but...you really need to get a new look."

"...What the hell are you talking about?" Slur asked.

"You need to put some sass on that ass, girl!" Duo said.

Cyrus put his hand in his face, ashamed.

"Duo, sometimes I wonder about you..." He said.

"And now, Slur, I bestow upon you...THE SEXY SOUL!!" Duo said, and held his hand above Slur.

A white light coated her. Everyone stared at Slur's new outfit, all of the guys getting immidiate nosebleeds, (Including Dark, Laika, and Enzan.) Except for Cyrus, who was ashamed of his navi's behavior.


"This feeling...what is it?" Dark said.

"It's called 'you're seeing a hot chick in a revealing bathing suit, and now you're happy." Forte said.

"Of all the times Laika had to uninstall my sniper scope..." Searchman said.

Netto was wiping up the blood on his nose.

"Duo...thank you..." He said.

"This feeling...I like it..." Lavis said.

All of the girls snorted in disgust.

Slur's new 'soul' had changed her outfit, making her wearing only a blue and white one piece bathing suit, with the stomach part cut out. Her helmet was the same, but blue. Also, part of the back part of the bathing suit was cut out. And that was all she was wearing.

"DUO!! What the hell is this about?!?" She asked, trying to cover herself.

"Like I said, you needed some sass on that ass!" Duo said.

"That's it, you're going to hell!" Slur shouted.

She glowed.

"Dragon Lash Blade!" She shouted, and did a quick circling attack, slicing into Duo very badly, logging him out.

"Duo, you can be SOOO retarded sometimes." Cyrus said.

Slur reverted back to her normal form.

"And that scandalous victory goes to Slur!" Kero said.

"One more comment like that, and I'll make your life a @#$%ing living hell." Slur said under her breath.

"Next match! Dark versus Colonel!” Kero said.

Both Barrel and Lavis walked to the stage, plugging their navis in.

“Commence!’’

Colonel used ScreenDivide at Dark. The black navi dodged the attack.

“Sol Orb!” Dark shouted, and held up his hand.

A giant, yellow, glowing orb appeared in his hand, and he hurled it at Colonel. The black swordsman sliced the orb in half. Dark grinned. He held his hands out and slammed them together. The two halves of the orb turned around and slammed together, with Colonel in the middle. Colonel slashed his way out of the orb.

“Colonel Cannon!” Colonel shouted, and his arm morphed into the gigiantic gun.

He aimed it at Dark and fired. the blast hit Dark sqaure on. Dark grunted and slashed the air with his arm, creating a tornado that flew at Colonel.

Colonel jumped and dodged it, sending another ScreenDivide at Dark. The black navi danced away from the attack.

“Chaos Dragon!” Dark shouted, and pointed at Colonel.

Several blue flaming dragon heads flew at Colonel from the air and smashed into him. Colonel was sent flying back. Dark jumped at him.

“Dark Disk!” Dark shouted, and held up his hand.

A dark, purple, glimmering disk appeared in Dark’s hand. Dark hurled it at Colonel, who rolled away at the last second. Colonel’s cape was sliced off.

“AreaSteal, Slot-in!” Barrel said.

Colonel vanished.

“GrabRevenge! Slot-in!” Lavis said.

When Colonel appeared, he was shocked by a lightning backlash. Dark spun around.

“AkumaSlash!” Dark said.

His arm morphed into a cybersword. Dark slashed the air and sent a gigantic, pink and yellow shockwave with a black aura around it at Colonel. Colonel jumped out of it’s path, but it swerved and hit him.

“MirageSlash!” Dark shouted, and slashed the air again, sending a green and dark blue shockwave at Colonel.

“I know where this is going. Guard3! Slot-in!” Barrel said.

Colonel pulled up a shield. The shockwave vanished, and another one flew out from behind Colonel, hitting him in the back.

“CrossDivide!” Colonel shouted after he got up, and slashed his blade in a CrossSword fashion.

“CrossSpark!” Dark shouted, and created a cross shaped energy burst.

The CrossSpark and CrossDivide kept pushing against eachother, and then the CrossSpark won. It hit Colonel, and logged him out.

“Dark wins!” Kero said.

Dark plugged out. Both Barrel and Lavis walked off stage. Colonel appeared in the cyberworlds where everyone but Dark, Rockman, Slur, Forte, Bankotsu, and Cyclone were, as they were still in the tournament and in the tourament area’s cyberworld.

“Hey Colonel.” Tomahawkman said.

“Welcome to the home of the infinte losers. Our netops are ashamed of us.” Blues said.

(Don’t kill me, Kirbopher.)

“Next match! Rockman versus Cyclone!” Kero shouted.

Both Katya and Netto walked onstage.

“Who’d thought we’d end up versing eachother?” Netto said.

“Yeah, it’s kinda like a cliche’ anime thingy!” Katya said.

“Commence!”

Rockman and Cyclone plugged in. Rockman charged his buster and shot it at Cyclone. She danced away from the attack.

“HolyDream! Slot-in!” Netto said.

Rockman fired 3 holy blasts at Cyclone. 2 hit her.

“Oh yeah? Watch this!” Cyclone said. She launched a gigantic funnel shaped wind blast at Rockman.

“Beast Out! Greiga!” Netto said.

An aura surrounded Rockman, and he changed into his Greiga Beast Out. Rockman roared and leapt at Cyclone. He knocked her down onto the ground, repeatedly slashing at her with his claws. Then he jumped up and howled.

“That is one nasty Beast Out.” Katya said.

“Yeah, you’re telling me.” Cyclone said, rubbing the huge gashes on her face.

“MoonBlade3! Slot-in!” Netto said.

Rockman warped in front of Cyclone and executed Moon Blade. She dodged it barely. Rockman howled again, and plunged his claws into the ground. Several shining spikes burst up from the ground at Cyclone. She weaved her way past them, and ran at Rockman.

“KnightSword, Slot-in!” Katya said.

Cyclone’s arm morphed into the Knight Sword, and she plunged it into Rockman. He howled out in pain.

“Rockman, finish this match!” Netto said.

Rockman grunted and pried the Knight Sword out of him. He jumped at Cyclone again and did one gigantic slash, logging her out.

“Rockman wins!” Kero said.

Rockman reverted back to normal.

“Oh geez, I so didn’t want to do that.” He said.

Katya and Netto went back to their seats.

“That was pretty cool, Netto.” Katya said.

“Ya think? ‘Cause to be honest, when Rockman goes into Beast Out mode, it kinda scares me.” Netto said.

“And now you know how I felt.” Cyclone said from her PET.

As you can see, I really love the concept of Beast Out. And, that Slur is favorite female character in the anime.
