I don't think there's much of a difference. Just the one of the five dogs you can choose from at the start, and but the other 4 later.
....the version thing is starting to bug me....
EDIT:
I just got mine today. I have a Golden Retriever named Shuuko! :D x10 |

I just got my copy of Lab and Friends. So far it's fun, but I'll have to see if it can be fun for a while. I got a Shiba, I love her. Of course, real dogs are more fun, but that goes without saying. The voice recignition is phenomenal so far, she responds to her name and the two tricks I've taught her (sit and roll over). |

Damn you Americans >_< I want Nintendogs T_T Sometimes living in Oz sucks ass. Thankfully I have preordered it. WOO-HOO :D I can't wait for it to come out. I'm getting Dachshundn and Friends. I have real dogs though, so does seem weird that I need virtual dogs as well? |

GAH! It was cute the first day, but now I can't stand it. The dog doesn't actually recognize your words. You teach it an action, speak a word, like ten times, before it learns to associate them together, course you know there would be a problem. Every time I call it's name, (Shuuko), It thinks im saying (spin). And in frizbee training training the dogs ability to catch the frizbee doesn't improve. Each dog only has a set way or range it can catch them. You have to understand how the dog is set to catch winning throws. Hey You Pikachu for the N64 was more technical than this one.
Then again, it should be obvious that jabbing a gooey screen with a stick is no substitute for a face full of slobber.. -_-; |

Well, first of all, you need to say things very clearly. The system's microphone can't guess what you mean is you slur or memble a bit. I haven't had any real troubles with this.
As for the frisbee catching, my dog seems to be improving the more I play with him using the frisbee.
Anywho... When I first started playing it, I figured I'd get sick of it after a day or two. However, I can't help but check in on Roy (my Husky) at least once per day. I've taught him to 'sit' and 'lay down', and I'm sure 'jump' and 'shake' are soon to follow. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

I really wanted this game, so I went to EB games and I grab it and shove it at the dude standing there and he says
This is for display only, we are all sold out.
do you know how many times that has happened. I have turned into a friggin clock while trying to buy this thing. Ticked-ticked-ticked-ticked. |

Yeah, Megawoman and I got this one. She got the Chiwawa version so she could get a Shetland Sheepdog. I got Daschund for the Siberian Husky, plus it has Golden Retriever, so I may get a second dog. So far, I've got my Husky to learn sit down, lie down, roll over, jump, spin, play, and sneeze, but voice recognition is a problem (or maybe she just really likes spinning). She's doing really well in the disc competiontion though. She got 20 points in the Open Class. I'll try Expert Class when I get home. Obidience Comp is going to be a problem and I had no luck with agility, so I'll have to keep trying.
Oh, and thankfully, the DS price finaly went down, so I went ahead and got my own. Come on Twin Leaders! Come to the U.S. shores! _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?
Caboose: I think so. That guy Tex is a robot, and you're his boyfriend. So that makes you... a gay robot.
Church: ... That's right... I'm a gay robot.
