I found the old topic... started in June...

and I'm only on episode 9 T_T

I love this series... yesterday I had 50 bucks to spen on maga, and Borders had their Student Saving Days thing... So I bought 3-6...

and I can't believe how freaking hilarious it is! sure it's a bit perverted, but I love it for how dynamic the characters are and their relationship to one another...

And [spoil:a62b36ff6c]Setsuna as an angel? did NOT see that coming...[/spoil:a62b36ff6c]

who else reads this?

I love Negima =D!! I own all of the manga (far superior to the anime) and I've seen all of the anime. I'm completely in love with it ^^. My favorite characters are Kotarou and Konoka. Konoka doesn't play a huge role most of the time, though =<. I also like Kaede, Nin Nin~ =3!

[spoil:ab64240d32]I wouldn't say she's an angel, more of a magical being.[/spoil:ab64240d32]

Go, go Baka Rangers XD!!

I can't wait for Volume 7. If I remember right, it's a really good one. The series really picks up from the Kyoto arc and beyond =3.

I love Negima. I have the first 6 volumes and I've been reading fan translations of the ones beyond them.

My favorite anime characters are usually child prodigies and Negi fits that profile reall well. I also like Kotarou.

::is listening to Happy Material::

did you think the Kyoto arc was a bit tedious to go through? I thought that it was just too much action near the end of it was just bugged me a bit...

My favorites are Nodoka (uber-kawaii, and hiding behind books, like me! and Shinobu was my favorite character in Love Hina), Setsuna (Motoko was one of my favorite characters in Love Hina, and she was based on her look at the sword style XD), Evangeline (XD at how she is when pissed... Stamp hell for the Headmaster XD), Konoka (awww so sweet), and Kaede (just becuase she's cool). that's it XD XD XD

Man I made an RP character on GFaqs, and I have two partners, and whenever I'm on attacking, I take out my manga and start typing out spells XD XD XD

Actually, the manga starts to get into a lot of action now >.>;. I don't think Kyoto was tedious. It made the story more amusing and exciting. Plus it starts to get into Nagi (Negi's father) more. Nagi will eventually be shown more, this started it off : o.

I only meant the end of the arc... the final battle... I got a little bit bored reading that...

but I have to wait until the 27th so I can see what Konoka's father gave Negi... and I do want to learn more about Nagi too... he seems like a very likeable character... maybe once I'm done downloading Tsubasa, I'll start downloading more of Negima...

and yes... the manga is quite better than the anime...

what are they gonna do about that one girl from 1940? I didn't see her in the chart for the test rankings...

which part of the manga's story so far did you like the most? For me, it's a tie between Library Island and the Battle against Evangeline

Nah, I didn't find it repetative... I was dissapointed at the last two story arcs being really short (not that they were bad, just short) so I really enjoyed having a longer story arc with a bit more action in it.

Anyhow, I more recently became a fan of Negima... haven't read it for a little while, but I plan to catch up to it soon.

Favorite characters are Negi, Zazie, Yue, Haruna and Evangeline.

I liked Kyoto's final battle, especially after they win. I found the fact that the demons didn't really care very amusing >.>;. Better fights happen later, though. Especially after Negi learns [spoil:cd006d34d5]Kung-Fu from Ku Fei and more magic from Evangeline.[/spoil:cd006d34d5]

[spoil:cd006d34d5]She's a Ghost. She's been haunting that classroom for about 49 years >.>;. They'll get into her in a bit. Around volume 10, I believe.[/spoil:cd006d34d5]

I hope the translator and editor they used for volume 6 do volume 7+. Volume 6 was the best so far, translations-wise.

wewtness! Negi gaining more spells from... Wow... just wow...

and yes... the translation was the best for 6... After a chapter is great because it's still in your memory when you get to the end of the chapter... and it explains the history of some of the things...

and yes... I think the final battle at kyoto seemed bland becuase Negi is still using his usual spells...

This is the part where I start asking who else he makes a pact with, but I'm not a person who wants to spoil myself that much...

Let's see... Asuna, Konoka, Nodoka, and Setsuna you know so far... I think that's all he's made, unless I'm drawing a blank to some other people, which I don't believe I am. He doesn't really need anymore than that anyway >.>;. Eventually he'll have to choose only one, by the way. This hasn't happened yet, though.

but yes those are the ones who he has made pacts with

Asuna during Evangeline fight
Nodoka during Contest with paper copies
Setsuna in the "eye of the storm" while planning to fight the demons
Konoka by the kiss to heal Negi from Petrification

wow... I read them too much... I didn't need the books to remember that

Neither do I, and I've only read them twice <.<;. It's not that hard to remember XP. Rawr, I don't like how Del Rey's releases are spread out over 3 months XP. Is volume 7 out yet? It's supposed to come out this month.

Hey! I read Negima too! I started reading it because I fell in love with Love Hina (or rather i fell in love with the Love Hina girls. Oh Naru, someday I'll find you..). Anyway...

I have all 6 books so far, and I'm waiting for book 7. They never said when it was coming out so it's frustrating. And I haven't seen the anime either. I think they totally botched it by giving the girls such fluroecsent hair colors.

I like the book because of the magic. Well, ok yes, and the fan service, but seriously. I read it for the magical references. I almost want to learn to speak latin to understand the spells.

Out of all the girls, I'd have to say that my favorites are Asuna, Konoka, Kazumi and Setsuna. I desperately want Kazumi to get her own story arcs. She came off as so evil and manipulative in volumes 4 and 5.

I did say the 27th... grrrr... it's too long a wait! 10 more days!

As I said before... faves are...

Nodoka (so much like my favorite Love Hina girl... and me... I'm always with a book... XD XD XD)

Setsuna (Just looks uber cool)

Evangeline (just for the funny stuff that happens with her around... Stamp hell!)

Konoka (Sweetest character in the world)

Kaede (Just for uber-coolness)

I only have up to episode 10 now... becuase I'm too lazy to download more anime...
