Heh heh! Lost Episode (even to Japan) Spoiler

After "Virus Busters" but before "Cross Fusion" is when it takes place.
The ep. would explain why some of the characters left, and the introduction of the first Adv. PET. Why was this filler episode never shown? PS, how many more series is RockMan (all three series I will from now on refer to as one long one) having? As of today, the 155th episode was shown.

As far as I know, no such episode actually exists. When AXESS started, everything was already set into place, Dex and Yai moving for instance.

Erm.. Anime series usually have 51 or 56 episodes, why would they make an exception and plan 57 episodes for the original season?

Yes the first episode did introduce the Adv PET. How ever I think Kadmos was confused because they cut the comercial out of the episode Cross Fusion for its US release. Enzan is the one that advertised it but they decided to cut that scene from the US episode. Yes They will probably cut Enzan giving Netto the PET3 if or when Stream comes to the US.

Well The comercial introduced the Adv. PET it sorta explained how Netto got it. But in the US version he just has it. It is like his PET magically turned into a Adv. PET, I think the same will happen in stream.

True but you never know with how the US dub has been, I mean they might cut that sceen out entirely because they do stupid stuff like that.

Don't bash the dub. They've been doing a really good job with Axess. They have to cut a certain number of things out because American broadcast requires more time for commercials than Japanese, so episodes have to be shorter. The Enzan commercial was most likely deemed irrelevent, and thus, was cut from the episodes. Axess begins about a year after EXE ended, and that's enough reasoning behind the new PET.

But if you really want to get nitpicky about things... EXE episode 55 ends with a news broadcast discussing the new PET Advance model (yes, they say PET Advance, clear as day) that Enzan spent the entire episode working on. They even mention a laser contact probe. I couldn't tell you what the English version says, but I'm going by the WPP fansub of the episode and my own two ears to confirm the PET Advance and laser contact probe terms (which are both said in English).

In fact, the last three episodes really seemed to set the stage for Axess. Episode 54 introduced Chisao into the storyline (whom became a series regular when Axess started, actually co-starring for a while until the writers probably realized how useless he was)... episode 55 introduced the PET Advance (or, at least, hinted at it's production)... and Episode 56 introduced Dimensional Areas (while not true Dimensional Areas, it introduced the concept of the natural and cyber worlds combining).

Even if Axess wasn't in mind when EXE ended, it feels like the writers set the story up to go somewhere good, just in case the series got picked back up later...

I probably missed that episode of exe, and I wasn't trying to bash the dub because I know about the extra comercials but sometimes it makes me wonder how much more they will cut, or what other names will change so sometimes I think that the dub will cut stuff like the new PET being given to Lan just because they can. They dropped 3 episodes of access so far only to not only put them after Lan gets his Adv. PET but put them in reverse order, Commander beef returns, Spoutman's new hero(next week), and Bubbleman's plan(the 17 i believe, final episode of axcess before it is taken off the air.)

Kids WB dropped three episodes and aired them out of order, not ShoPro. ShoPro does all of the dubbing, and when they dubbed the episodes, they were in the correct order. The dub doesn't skip things "just because they can." They skip things they think aren't needed so they can make time. Chaud giving Lan the new PET isn't something they can just skim over.
