I found this nice blank fan at the Japanese supermarket today, so I decided it would be good to draw something on it... you know, for conventions :3
I did the initial drawing in pencil, after I traced out the size of the fan on the scratch paper. I forgot about the "grills" part of the bottom of the fan, so I had to leave out X's neck in the final transfer. I did the transfer via lightbox and just stuck the fan on top. Instead of tracing out the pencil first on the fan, I moved right onto using the blue metallic pen to draw on the fan.
Let the Kodachi laughter begin :3

Oh awsome! X looks really cool! What a great idea to draw on a blank fan.... Maybe you should do more like this..

Ooo! Shiny! Very well done and what an original idea. Most people probably wouldn't have thought to put Rockman on that, just some random flowers or birds. Hmm, now lets see if there's more of your drawings hanging around...

Very, very original and cute idea! I love how you drew X besides the whole "fan" idea itself. :D (I am stupid~ I thought you copied the fan when it was actually you who did the original design and concept. More points for that~ \o\)

Sweet - the metallic pen makes it even better.
It seems like the "grills" would make it harder to draw on the fan, but it came out so well. O_O

Hai, I was a bit worried about that, too, which is why I used a brush pen instead of a standard pen, and I tried not to press too hard so that the tip of the brush wouldn't get moved by the grills of the fan.
