Sorry for the delay, Neko, I hope you like this. I don't remember what Age was Saito when he died so I'm going for a stretch of as much twin interaction as I can.

Sway and Swing.

"Netto? Saito? Where are you two this time?"

Two little boys let out muffled giggles as they hid, watching their mother from under the large bed that dominated the bedroom.

"Alright you two, come out this minute or there's no icecream for you." Haruka Hikari crossed her arms over her chest and tapped her foot, attempting to sound annoyed.

"Netto did, mama!" A little voice came from under the bed, soon followed by a pair of diminute hands. Haruka smiled and reached out to pick up the child that struggled to get out.

"Oh? So it was Netto's idea again?" She asked through soft giggles, combing gently with her fingers the soft chesnut hair of her older son. Saito nodded, pointing to the bed once more, as his brother's head popped from under the sheets.

"Bad Saito!" Netto frowned deeply, trying to show as much as he could how upset he was to his older brother.

Haruka couldn't help but grin at how adorable Netto looked with his deep frown and poofed cheeks. "Alright, Alright. Let's not have a fight, ok? Papa sent us a present! Let's go to see it."

"Wai!" The twins cheered at unison, they loved their father's surprises.

She smiled to her children and gathered Netto in her free arm, carrying both outside to their garden. Netto's and Saito's eyes widened, big grings spread across their chubby faces. Netto bounced in his mother's arm, pointing to the two swings that had been installed in the garden.

"We're coming, calm down, Netto!" Haruka sighed contently as she carried her children to the swings, carefully installing each boy in their respective seats. Netto wailed and bounced in anticipation, while Saito gripped tightly the chains that supported the seats. The brown haired woman made sure her twin boys were secured in their seats before turning around and gently push the twins forward for them.

Netto and Saito squealed in joy as the swings moved forward and then backwards, steadily increasing how fast and far the swings would move. Netto raised his hands happily as the swings moved, while Saito kept his iron grip in the chains but enjoying the swings just as much as his younger brother.

"More, mama! More!" Netto giggled, demanding for the ride to keep going.

Haruka smiled as she pushed the swings, watching contently how different both children were and yet, how alike they were. Netto was bouncy, happy and adventurous. Saito was far more calm and reserved, he followed his younger brother in his adventures, but wasn't as eager to explore the world around them at every little chance as his brother was.

Haruka wasn't sure how much of their current behavior would accompany the children through the rest of their lives, but she was sure that, no matter what, Netto and Saito would be together, helping each other and loving each other as brothers.

Yuuichirou Hikari sighed softly as he entered his residence, content to be back in his home.

"You're home, dear?" Haruka called from the kitchen, where she was helping her children to clean themselves up after their dinner.

"Yep!" Yuuichirou grinned as he tossed his suitcase and labcoat on the sofa and walked into the kitchen, giving a loving kiss to Haruka before kneeling in the floor to hug his boys. "Hey, how are you two? Been good boys today?"

"Yes!" Both children nodded and ran to hug their father.

"Now, Netto, Saito, don't you have something to say to papa?" Their mother grinned down to them.

Netto tilted his head confused, not seeming to understand what his mother was talking about. Looking for some clues, Netto glanced to his twin, although he looked just as confused. Suddenly, Saito bounced lightly, remembering the present received today.

"Swing!" Saito said to his brother.

"Swing!" Netto echoed, remembering now what his mother meant.

"Thank you, Papa!" Both wrapped their little arms around his father, hugging him to thank him for the present he sent them.

"Anytime, Netto. Anytime, Saito." Dr. Hikari grinned and nuzzled his twins, hugging them tightly and lovingly. "Now, let's get you two in bed, shall we?"

He laughed softly as both boys nodded at unison and grabbed his hands with their own, pulling him to go upstairs where their bedroom was. Haruka and Yuuichirou helped the children into their sleeping clothes and carefully tucking them under the warm covers.

"Good Night, Saito. Godd Night, Netto." The proud parents smiled as they kissed their children good night, watching the twins curl against each other and fall deep asleep in a matter of minutes. Both exhausted from a day full of games and swings with each other. Neither could ever think about anything but the fun of the next day. And neither could think of ever being torn appart from one another. Saito whimpered softly in his sleep, wrapping a tiny arm around his younger twin, clutching his clothes as if he didn't want to ever let go of him.

Oh my god. That was really cute. I too am a sucker for Netto/Saito fics, and this was done very well.

For the record, Plant, the only thing that we know about Saito's age when he died was that he was one. That spans anywhere between 12 and 24 months, sadly. Nothing else in the games suggested anything further or more specific than this. Other than that, the sheer innocence of the boys and the fact that they were just having a good time struck me quite readily, as I cannot help but feel sorry for Saito's abrupt demise.

Oh my, that was adorable. I love pre-EXE fics...particularly ones with Saito, of course. XD It was very fluffy and happy despite the unavoidable knowledge the reader holds about their future. Great work!
