Worst game corruption/file delete you've ever suffered?

Paper Mario and the One thosand year door. I got it for my birthday... About 4 months ago I was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee when a freak storm makes a big black out. I had back up data for everything but Mario... I had all the badges, food resipies, star shardes, shine sprites, moves, toogled all the characters, and Bet Bonetail... I haven't played the game since... T_T :poof:

I suffered something like that once...what you do is go back and do it all again, or use cheat codes to get them all back.

I bought Blue Moon EXE4 from a friend for $20, then Yesterday I found that my saved file was gone! Aww man! i was so close to deafeating Duo! I was playing too much Pokemon.....

mine happen in playstation. i got a cheap memory card from him ...i save my best files and one day while i was playing. it suddenly said "Can't save"
when i touched the card it was very hot. not too hot but more hot than usual. *sobs* my best saves gone.

yesterday i suffered the worst one...

i turned on my pc,then i connected it to the internet and BAM it suddenly logs out from the net, then i tried again and happens the same, then i said" hey, i have a partition, i will put all my games, save files,[spoil:4b65ef911e]roms [/spoil:4b65ef911e] Evil or Very Mad

, and rockman videos, so i willl format only the windows and backing up all my files at the same time!" but....my Windows Cd is very damaged now and the things got hairy and before i noticed i deleted all my files.....5 gigas of games and saved games went to the hell...

Thats a very big ouch, I went trough a similar event, I entered my sister's entire registry(regedit.exe) into my pc and the screen went back for a few seconds and when I restarted I couldn't load windows

(good thing I had my roms in my sis pc too -.- )

Worst one ever? My friend and I suffered a bad one on my ps2 memory card.

What was on the card:

DDR:MAX Full data (all songs, including DropTheBomb and Silent Hill)
DDR: MAXX2 Full data. (All songs, including MaXX U and Kakumei)
DDR: EXTREME Full data (all songs including TLoM)
Need For Speed Underground 2 (Game progress: 94%)
T.H.U.G 1 and T.H.U.G 2 completed game saves (100% beaten both games)
PS2ONLINE Data
Killzone full completion data
Madden 2005 Save game data
NHL 2004 Save game owner data

And then some....the DDR stuff alone was well over 5 hours of straight playing on all mixes....I still haven't gotten it all back yet...

I just remembered a weird kinda deletion like thing. Like 4 years(or more) ago my Diddy Kong Racing(DKR) first file had all 47 ballons and on one day I turned on I had about 28 or something, It wasn't me who finished the game for the first time and I had to re collect them all by myself, I still don't know what happened, it even has the same name, and the other files were fine.

And I remembered about starfox right now, I had almost all badges (the one's in the planets) and poof, my game was deleted, I've never reached that number of badges agai, yes i'm that bad at shooting.

Just last night my sister was playing Animal Crossing, and went to save when the save perosn says "Device in slot A can't be used." We took it out and let it rest for awhile, blew on it, and it was fine, but she lost the biggest fish she ever caught Sad

It made her really sad...But now she's got the Excitebike NES thing, so she's happy.

Well the other day I decide to play EXE3. And discover that my game has been mysteriously deleted. To make matters worse, whenever I try to save, Megaman says 'The save failed.' Does anyone know whats going on or if this is even fixable?

Well...this happened a LONG time ago, and i'd rather not talk about it, but...
oh well, here it is:
I had an "almost" perfect FFVII save in one of my memory cards (the one that i used the most). I just missed some things here and there, but nothing permanently lost in-game.
When i wanted to play it again, i saw in horror that that memory card had unexplainably(sp?) ERASED itself....along with my FFVII file. I didn't save it onto another one before...so i lost everything and had to start from scratch again... T_T *sighs*

I just remebered this one, I couple years back when Pokemon Trading Card Game came out.

I think I was about to defeat the 'Elite Four' for the first time when my one friend asked if he could start a new game for fun, (I didn't know that if you start a new game it saves over the other data before you start) so I said sure.

After that I never let him play the game again. (At the time it was a big thing to me)

Then for stupidness that had no effect to us whatsoever; the summer when there was that huge blackout, my friend and myself where creating new top times and ungoddly stupid teams on her NHL Hitz for fun. That's when the blackout hit, she lost a gome amount of the stuff we made.

Okay Another horrible one. I was one chip away from beating EXE2, and I decided to play a new game. Well when I was done, reflexes made me save over my EXE2 file.

It took my 3 months to get all the chips ;-; and Hub Style for that matter

Once I was using an adapter to play GoldenSun:TLA, when a thunderstorm
blew up. The next day, all my files were deleted, but I turned it on again and they were back.

And about my previous post, I just blew the dust out and now my game is back. Weird.

Two bad instances for me. First one was when I lost my FF7 file. I was at the end of Disc 2, and accidentally overwrote the file with a different one. Due to that, I still have not finished the game.

Second disaster would go to BN4. I was on game 5, had a whole bunch of stuff. I turn it on one day, and, poof, it's gone. I take the cart out, blow on it, breathe on it, put it back in, nothing. I wait an hour, nothing. The game was totally lost.

Just today my sister's Animal Crossing file went all screwy again and she lost Ice Climbers, Legend of Zelda, Excitebike, and Balloon Fight. It sucks, cause I loved those games, and I can only play them through Animal Crossing.

My N64 Controller Pak oddly erased all of the data that was on it. Which stunk because I had made it pretty far into Mystical Ninja and Goemon's Great Adventure. T_T :]

Worst, I dunno (My Memory Card for PS2 got stolen last year... :grr: )

Weirdest was my Rom for Seiken Densetsu 3. I hadn't done any Gamesharking or the such, and one day when I loaded it all my characters had odd clases (Angela was a DUELIST?!?) and were on level 1...and I was up to Pedan so training back was not practical.
