i have all the icon in BN 5!! it's a hard battle to get all the challange
and i have some advice:
1.use chip that has same code
(if you play colonel i suggest use 2-4 asteroid 3 c ,cosmoman sp,and c divide)
2.avoid useless battle except if you want to collect chip
3.if you play colonel team, you must mastered number soul it's
very usefull

okay that's all of my advice!!!

Or you could try to get more hp memories and try to customize Rockman a bit more.

Also, you could practice virus busting more at a lower level, not going lv2 just yet... and a good folder is vital. I suggest 5 codes AT MOST (except DarkChips, since you have them just to sacrifice and get ChaosSoul) and a LOT of * chips.

It's not quite hard. If you have played any of the previous games in the series, then you know of the value of a good folder. One that is fluid and does not choke on you when you most need it. One that has at most three codes. One that is capable of doing at least 300 damage with one chip or PA, to take out the tougher viruses. And one that has strategies that are conducive to each other, and don't clash. What good is a BigNoise and a TimeBom+ in the same folder if theoretically the Noise will wreck the Bomb and waste three chips?

Have at least a few P.A's in your folder, and trigger some unisons.
Its best to keep your folder focused on 3 unisons

Actually multiple PAs and Soul Unisons can clutter a folder, Soul Unisons being an exception at times because you can get * coded chips for it. If you wanna focus on Soul Unisons base a folder around them. But I'd say the most important thing is to make the folder fluid by using one letter code, the * code and possibly an off coded chip. I don't hold Dark Chips in this regard because you'll most likely use them for Chaos Unison anyways

In your folder, remember to put a DarkPlus for ChaosNumbersoul if you have ToC (+50 or even +60 on a non-elemental, combined with a nice multi-hit chip... and 10 chips at your custom screen, you want to ditch that?) or DarkCircle for ChaosSearchsoul if you have ToP (100 HP damage on 7 squares, plus three free folder shuffles). They're a great choice if you ask me.

I agree with Midnight on BigNoise. If you fire it from your center panel, you'll hit your enemies' entire area. Depending on what version you have, the only Soul Unison that will be really helpful is NumerSoul or SearchSoul. I suggest having at least 3 Invis in your folder if you're having problems surviving the battle.

What code is your folder based on anyway?

I really know what you mean, these guys on the site prance around with all the icons and folders that could have been disigned by the producers of the game. Not that I find the game hard though.

Now what you need is to pick a soul or two and maybe a chaos union and base your folder around it. If it's what you can use, then it's good no one plays the game the same way.

Meh. I find some virus tough, but all I can suggest is a that you keep on your toes more. and you stock your folder full of high powered chips

In the second Nebula Gate, I found it highly difficult, I hated that mission, it was so freaking annoying, all thos panels arround me and fighting 4 viruses at once in 1 turn(which I wanted to do) was very stressful with how many times I reapeated it over, but I manages to get through it. Im not sure about you guys who have BN 5 TC but I found the Nebula mission with Cosmoman and Blizzardman alot easier tyhan Cloudman's Nebula mission.

This little bit didn't process in my mind until now @_@ If you manage to beat quite possibly the toughest liberation mission and after that THEN you start having problems, I just don't know how that's possible. (With the exception of the final part in this area...) Cloudman's mission is like the longest and most annoying cause you probably have your team members surrounded more than half the time. Yet, you managed to survive that. I don't know how many turns it took you, but beating it is enough.

Also, if you have ToC, the last mission will probably be as easy as Liberation Mission #4/5. I heard it can be done in 4 turns.

My very very last advice to you is to go to GameFaqs and find a folder that best suits you. Or you can be a bit more creative and make a folder of your own...that's good.

Your in-battle reflexes are important, too. Don't forget about those!

Theres 1 thing I forgot to mention I hate the fact that you have to use Numberman in TOC why did they have to make him almost entirely useless? No one is going to use his charge attack in the liberation missions, and I certainly hope people aren't wasting time with his special attack with the code of N O_o.

People will only use his charged attack if they have no other means of offense. His dice bomb actually saved me a few times from going over the 3 turn limit.

It depends. I could say the same for Medi in ToB, since she really isn't up to par with her charged attack and her specialized chip. It is inevitable--of a group of navis, one of them is bound to be the weakest link, you know.

True skill, in those situations, is the ability to overcome these navi's shortfalls and make them effective in combat.
