Yay! Sonic is so uber awsome, but how the heck can you fit that in with Rockman. And what would the characters interact like?

Ugh, double post. Well, here's the last chapter, and I guess the FMA chars remain until the next fic. -_-;

Chapter 3:
One of “Them”

SHIA

I landed and whisked Saito to Heaven with me.

I called,

“Belle!! We got another angel!!”

A girl with long blonde hair, and blue eyes asked,

“Oh, Shia-san, your back? Who this time?”

I walked up to the older angel in her 20’s, Saito shyly tagging close behind.

I stepped aside and explained,

“This is Hikari Saito. He died about a couple days ago. At only eleven years old, too.”

Belle looked shocked and asked,

“Oh, the poor kid! How’d he die so young?”

I frowned and replied,

“We didn’t want his HBD to kill him, so I sorta killed him, well...ya know, code 87X.”

Belle gasped and said with loads of pity in her voice,

“Oh, I’m so sorry it had to go down that way, Saito-kun. We usually don’t have to use that method a lot, but only as a last resort. Sorry to hear that, you poor thing!”

I put a hand on Saito’s shoulder and said,

“Aw, he’s a man, he can take it!”

I laughed and added,

“Can’tchya Sai?”

Saito laughed and sweatdropped.

I asked,

“So Belle, what’s the schedule for today?”

She checked a couple papers she was holding and said,

“Um, we were supposed to hypnotize Gavin DeGraw and have him do a huge concert, and that’s about it. The court’s open, if that’s what your thinking, Shia-san.”

I smiled and exclaimed,

“Perfect! Thanks Belle-san! C’mon Sai, we gotta make you official!!"

I dashed off, leaving Belle smiling.

I stopped at the court and yanked Saito wherever I went, weaving through various hallways, until I reached the courtroom in the huge building.

I opened the door, walked quickly down the aisle, Saito being dragged along, being pretty dang clueless, and I explained,

“Sorry I’m late guys. Air Traffic”

The judge looked down at me from his seat of power and said not too thrilled,

“Shia, you are 3 minutes late.”

The judge looked like a man of about 32, with shoulder-length orange hair, and menacing eyes, the right one blue, the left one green.

I sighed and said,

“Sorry sir, it’ll never happen again.”

Saito asked,

“Who’s that?”

I covered his mouth and hissed,

“That’s the judge for all of Heaven, Keiichi. He’s a very powerful and respectable man. Don’t speak unless spoken to, because you aren’t even an official angel. If you speak out of turn, yer gonna get yer ass whooped hard, so just sit down and listen.”

Just like a human courtroom, Saito sat in that one place next to the judges seat, and I stood beside him.

Keiichi smacked his hammer thingy down, causing the room to become deathly silent.

He asked,

“Hikari Saito. How long ago did you die?”

Saito quivered a little and answered quietly,

“A..a-a coup-ple days, s-s-sir.”

Keiichi looked at him suspiciously and asked,

“How old are you boy?”

Saito answered meekly,

“...El-leven, sir.”

Keiichi asked,

“How did you die?”

Saito whined a little and answered obediently,

“M-m...murder, s-..sir.”

Keiichi raised an eyebrow and questioned commandingly,

“How? And by who?”

Saito, now shaking very hard and sweating, replied quietly,

“C- Code 87X, an-n-d by Sh-Shia-san.”

Keiichi bellowed,

“I can’t hear you!!”

Saito closed his eyes as tears started running down his pale face as he shouted, fear woven in with

“87X, and Shia!!”

Keiichi looked towards me with a raised eyebrow and asked demandingly,

“You had to resort to 87X?”

I nodded and answered calmly, barely moving at all except to close my eyes,

“Yes sir.”

Keiichi asked,

“Why?”

I opened my eyes quickly replied,

“I either let him die by HBD and suffer, or gave him a quick and painless death, sir.”

Keiichi put a hand to his chin and said,

“I see. Now, This boy has been dead for a couple days, he’s eleven, and was killed by Shia using Code 87X. Now, boy, explain to me why you want to become an angel.”

Saito sobbed, nodded, and answered in a shaky voice,

“I want to protect Netto-kun...”

Keiichi asked,

“Just who is this ‘Netto-kun’?”

I replied,

“Hikari Netto is Saito’s younger brother.”

Keiichi smiled and said with his voice a lot softer now,

“I see, a valuable reason indeed. Hikari, come.”

Saito nervously and quickly darted over to Keiichi, closed his eyes, and cringed, waiting for his grim fate.

SAITO

I waited for whatever horror this scary man would say I am to befall.

I felt warm hands above my head, and then they were gone.

I felt around my head, and right above it, but not touching it, was what I presumed was a halo.

I gave Keiichi a confused look and he ‘replied’,

“You’re official now, kid. Have fun with your afterlife. Oh and here’s the rules:

1: Respect higher ranking angels.

2: If you still are under rank 50, you must have a higher ranking angel come down to Earth with you.

3: If you rank high, don’t abuse your power or you will be demoted majorly.

4: Angels are immortal, so don’t even THINK about committing suicide.

5: Do not hold a soul captive unless you are the angel that freed it from it’s body.

Over all kid, do what you would down on Earth. Now go have fun as an angel.”

Shia asked,

“May I, sir?”

Keiichi nodded.

Shia ran over, grabbed me by the arm and pulled me into a hug.

“Welcome to the club, bud!”

She exclaimed.

I asked,

“Wanna help me bring our friends up here to see that Gavin DeGraw concert?”

I smiled, and nodded before answering,

“Would I!”

ED

I stepped up to the Kamoka household and said,

“This SHOULD be it.”

I opened the front door and gasped.

Al asked,

“What is it, Nii-san?”

I exclaimed,

“Al...this isn’t a house, this is a mansion!!”

A boy, presumably Ralph, stood in the doorway, running his fingers through multiple strands of his Royal-Blue shoulder-length hair on his fingers as he scratched his head and explained,

“Er, we’re kinda filthy rich. Richer than Yaito-rich, actually.”

I asked,

“Who’s Yaito?”

He replied,

“Some rich stupid blonde girl.”

I flat out screamed,

“WHAT DOES HAIR HAVE TO DO WITH INTELLIGENCE?!”

Al grabbed my arm and said worriedly,

“Nii-san...”

I sighed and muttered,

“Alright, yer getting away with it this time...but one more blonde joke and I’ll have to use this alchemy for evil.”

Ralph asked,

“What’s an alchemy?”

Al and I screamed in confusion,

“DOH!!!!”

SAITO

I glided down slowly, letting my blue-clad toes make a soft tap as they hit the pavement.

Almost like in a movie, Netto somehow seemed to know where I was, thanks to SAITO.BAT’s link.

My younger brother yelled,

“ONII-CHAN!!”

And ran up, knocking me off my feet into the air when he threw his arms around me in a hug.

I smiled and exclaimed,

“Netto-kun! Netto-kun, it’s official now! I’m official!”

Netto gasped and smiled huge, his heart welling up with so much excitement I could feel it.

I asked,

“What about those kids?”

Shia replied,

“C’mon, Netto-kun, Saito-kun, we’ll throw a party for you at my house."

SHIA

Saito’s tiny wings flittered rapidly as he strained, but lifted himself higher off the ground a exclaimed,

"Awesome!"

He set Netto down, and we started walking to my house to drag out the neighbors.

Great final chapter, Chibi! I loved how Ed got pissed when he heard the blonde joke about Yaito-chan! But who is Ralph, may I ask?

Ralph is Shia(or Lauren)'s older bro, who just got back from high-school in Hawaii early. He's super-smart, like his sister.

Awsome, that was so awsome I'm like, speachless. Even though I'm talking I'm speachless. Can't wait for the next one, but this one was so awsome I'm not sure how you can top it.
