| Well, personally, it's not because Forte's all "dark and slient" that makes me like him. It's that I always considered him one of Capcom's better designs, much better than Megaman's anywho. And come on, even his "OMG I"M TEH STRONGEST" personality is no where near as annoying as Rock's "OMG FRIENDSHIP PWNS YOU" style. =[ |

I think the only reason that Forte is popular, just because he acts so tough and lonely.
I personally dislike him. I think he's over rated

Though I do agree with Ryouko. XD
Forte is cool because he's got the cloak. And that helmet that stands out from all the rest. And because he's evil and has a tragic past, but doesn't wail over it like other evil-tragic-past-angsty-killers might break down over. And because he kicks total ass.

I agree with both parts of that, particularly the latter half.

Forte is too popular for his own good.
He's not that sexy! He doesn't even have hair! XP
But the reasons people like him is because
A) He is a total badass and
B) He has striking boyish good looks that border on androgeny.
I can understand how people can be attracted to a bishounen villain with severe childhood issues, but why you would want to run up and give him a hug is beyond me. Does he look like the kind of guy who needs a hug? To me it looks more like he needs to destroy something.

| Forte isn't really out to destroy anything (at least not his anime counterpart). The thing about Forte is he doesn't even try to be badass. He just knows he is, and that's probably what makes him so cool, and therefore popular. Basically, he's a bishounen-sounding dude with the hotness to rival Blues' ass who speaks softly and carries a very big stick, and apparently his only weakness is being ogled by his fangirls. Too popular for his own good maybe, so perhaps he's a guy you either end up loving or hating. |
