Rockman Rockman and Irregular Hunter X

Those IHX screens look awesome. Very good looking graphics. I was never really big on X1, but with these impressive graphics, and the invigoring style of music from the original, I may have a new found respect for X1. Although, the maverick boss models look a bit too blocky on the official site.

Wow, Irregular Hunter X looks sweet! I'm gonna have to get a PSP to play it! It's just a remake of Megaman X1, right? Also, what exactly is Rockman Rockman? All i've heard is that there will be two playable characters in it.

I'd classify Wily Wars more as an 'enhancement' than a remake. I think a remake is more like something remade from the ground up, essentially.

The 3d mavericks in Irregular Hunter X looks awesome. I think Boomer Kuwanger looks the best out of the bunch. The backgrounds in this game loko cool as well. Now I need a PSP...

Glad I got a PSP, now I leave it up to Capcom to make me a happy man and release it's Rockman games over here to the US so I can play.....cuz I don't want to tote around a translation guide for these games Razz

I don't know. Something just seems off about the X1 screenshots. Maybe it's just takes some getting used to since it's in 3D but something tells me I won't be liking the X1 remake (if I ever play it) as much as the origional.

Well, to be perfectly honest, respect works both ways. I felt like you were using a certain "tone" with me, and I was just not in the mood to get a lock and an admin beat down like some dumb newbie. It may not have seemed like that to you, but it did to me. A little kindness goes a long way. I like bringing news and important info to this site and don't appreciate getting told off for it. I also like you Tabby. I like your work and your web site and what you've done for this place. So I'm sorry for being rude. It was just a bad day for me.

As for the PSP player, I think it could be done. After all, the GBA player didn't stop people from buying GBAs. The idea of the PSP is that its portable, and a PS2 or PS3 isn't. I think what may happen is that the PS3 may be able to play PSP disks because the PSP has special buttons and such that the PS2 doesn't have. Unless they port the buttons over like an emulator or something. I just don't want to have to buy a PSP to play these Megaman games. lol They're too expensive right now and I don't have any money. Literally. :-\

BTW, what do you think they're going to call this game if it hits the US? Megaman Megaman? O_o

Hard to say what they'll call it, but I doubt we'll get a straight localization of the name(and for good reason).

Anyway, I look forward to these the way I looked forward to Super Mario All-Stars, so I can see what they've changed and what's new and such. It won't be the same as the first time, no, it never is, but there is a certain feeling of coming home again, and seeing things spruced up a bit after a time away...

Somehow this is starting to remind me of the suggestions for the MMX collection... apparently, it seems, they decided to remake the games based on some of these suggestions... like Vile as a playable character...

I'm guessing this also explains some of the things such as X's finding? (maybe) and Sigma turning maverick and all the stuff behind the Reploids...

I actually kinda like the X1 remake. Great graphics (that sorta make it look like 2D still) and anime cut-scenes! ^_^ And, hey! It might even say what happened to Rockman in the original series!

As for Rockman Rockman, it looks cute. But, I haven't seen the videos yet so...*checks it out*
