Eh, it's possible. It just depends how well prepared you are and your skills at dodging. All of Duo's attacks can be dodged if your timing is really good. I used the pause button to avoid getting hit when Duo stormed my area with his fists.
To add on to what CFS said:
No Soul Unisons
No Navi Chips
No Fast Gauge
And the 1 thing that'll make this a pain- No Pithockey Advance
I wanted to add "No Double Point / Atk+30" and "Use Slow Gauge", but I'll make it optional.

That would be correct. No matter how many hits you take, one can never get those chips out against Duo.
Theoretically, I could put the restriction that one CANNOT USE CHIPS. As I have said repeatedly, Duo can and WILL go down by buster alone. His attacks are given away quite easily, so it is up to patience and nimble fingers.

Geez. I can't believe you guys can actually defeat Duo without getting hit!!
I can't even make it through the battle without getting half of my HP taken out. But, I'm not that good at Battle Network anyways. The only way that I can beat him is if I level up my buster until it's charge attack does 50 damage. |

That is correct, I was once dark when i fought Duo, so i couldnt use Dark Chips, or Soul Unisons, I mostly used the buster against him, doing 50 damage with every charge shot, and i beated the pants off him! |

Hmm. People who can do things like beat NebulaGrey or Duo without getting damaged, and with certain restruictions imposed on them, will *always* have FAST reflexes, don't you think? I'm not that fast, so I can only beat DuoSP after getting hit twice...
I can defeat LifeVirus with 1HP without getting hit, and just using my buster, though. XD

I can beat Alpha and Gospel with NormalStyle, only my buster. It's quite easy, really. Duo is just up there, he's the easiest last boss. He went down faster than any other ones. I can see how somebody would be able to defeat him with one HP.

What version of Alpha is it? And what version of the game are you playing, cause if it's normal Alpha, Then a Sanctuary and a LifeAura both work wonders on that lightning attack. If it's the Omega version, LifeAura might hold out, but if your in Blue version, a DarkAura and Sanctuary is the way to go.
