Stream #50 - Colonel Barrel - Spoilers

I wonder if using the past tunnel had negative effects on Barrel. AS we now Barrel died of old age and appeared much older than 50 (I think Wily's older than him). I wonder if traveling through the tunnel caused him to age rapidly over the years.

I'm REALLY hoping that 51 has Duo actually fighting. I'm half expecting them to screw us over and not have him fight against any of the CF rangers with the techniques we all love to hate him for. That, and I was a LITTLE concerned on how the animation looked in the preview for the next episode. PAC, do you know if that was the same person who did the AXESS finale that's animating Stream 51?

So far so good lets just hope the last episode is not a big let down. Like having he final battles (Bass Vs Slur CF team Vs Navi amry/Duo) really short, and fill the rest of the episode up with a lot of talking that hardle any of us could understand.

This pirate day is annoying me...

Anyway, yeah, it's the same woman (Ishihara Mitsuru). Her art style is very distinct... she has a lot of detail in the folds of clothing, among other things. One thing I look out for, assuming I'm ever unsure if it's her, is how she draws character's ears in frontal views (there's no boundary line between the side of the face and the ear). Her art seemed a little... off in the Axess finale, so I wasn't initially sure if she did that entire episode (though she did, unless the other art director(s) were uncreditted). Ironically, it seems slightly the same way in the Stream finale (judging by the preview, she did a still-frame battle... I pray it's not constant throughout the episode)... but, nonetheless, I can guarantee that any episode she touches is going to rock (examples: EXE 8, 35, 51). Geeze... remember Stream 40? That had some of the most beautiful production value of any EXE episode to date.

It was a very interesting episode. Now that all of them have cross fused maybe we can go back to normal fighting. I doubt [spoil:93f3dd36b6]famous would want to send lan a D.A. all the way to that other city if he moves.[/spoil:93f3dd36b6]

I hate Meijin's role in Stream. Why can't the anime just give him a navi? He's got 4 in the games... probably a fifth when EXE6 debuts. He has a PET, too... give him an actual use! All he does now is push a button and flash his catch phrase. I remember one Stream episode where Meijin was completely absent... but his finger made a cameo to push the Dimensional Generator button...

Ok, something's wrong here. (You know, aside from all the other wacked-out stuff that's been going on in Stream)

First, let me officially declare that watching Forte be a godly bad-ass isn't terribly annoying. People like him, he doesn't bother me much, life is good. Can I also declare, then, that him showing up at the end of ep 51 is really ridiculous? He gets his ass kicked and dissapears (with plenty of foreshadowing I might add) in the start of the season, then he shows up NOW without so much as an explaination or even mention of where he's been the past 49 episodes?

R-Colonel is coolness. But is it really neccesary to show EVERYONE'S henshin sequence? I mean, even the Style Change sequences in season 2 were shortened later on; are their plots getting to be so short that they need to fill up time with endless numbers of henshins? And I thought the later seasons of Sailor Moon were bad with 10+ scouts all with transformation sequences.

you know everyone would want to see colonel's henshin anyway, so they may end up doing his 'full screen' one anyway.

It is a great ep, I'm going to watch it again since I can't understand the fanfics....

Well he shows up in the Rockman.exe movie which chronologically occurs during Stream. So I imagine that'd explain a fair portion of what he's been up to.

Barrel Taisen, or is it Barrel Taisan, which ever it is, it be a cool last name.

I cant wait for the finale, so Beast can start and we all can find out more about that little yeller navi. And so we can hopefully find out what the 3 unconfirmed souls will be, the opening screenshots should give us some ideas.

Now I be getting back on Topic, R Colonel is awsome looking one of my favorites, I am not a big fan of R Knight, or R Search. Same goes for R Tomahawk, and R Napalm. R Rock, R Blues are ok since they were the first two, R Gyro is too lame looking. R Roll, and R Medi are cool because they are the only 100% female cross fusions. I like R Needle because it was the first of the female cross fusions, R Magnet is too weird with the large unnatual hips. R Shadowman however rules because Shadowman rules. That be my opionion though.
