When I first saw it I was like "how are you gonna play games with a remote?" But when I saw the addons It all made sense. I'm very impressed with the controller and have a good feeling Nintendo will do better than they did this and last generation (becoming #1 again may be a pipe dream but they may overtake Sony with it's shaping up to be expensive as hell PS3).
Granted alot of PS2 and Xbox fanboys will still bash it and continue to claim that "n1n7eND0 15 TeH k1Ddy!1!!11!11!" |

I'd rather get really into a kiddy game than trudge through a "mature" game on a controller with more buttons than anyone should know what to do with. :/ _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

*Nods in agreement* By the way, why does the Playstation controller have 2 analog sticks? Is one for moving while the other is to change your view?
And I wonder how many games will be made for the Revolution... _________________ *Join RMNSB!*

Generally, yes, but it's not like all games have the same exact button configuration. |

Someone in a review of something or other, summed it up pretty well. Think of the analog sticks as a mouse and a keyboard. Sure not all games use them like that, but I thought it was a pretty neat take on it. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

I am skeptical with the Nintendo Revolution controller when it comes to playing certain genres, but I am overly impressed with what Nintendo had to show during the Tokyo Game Show. The real test for me will come when I get to hold the controller in my own hands and experience how it feels for myself. They wanted to make an impact and give fans something to look forward, and they did it with style. Prior to TGS, fans were wondering whether or not anything was going to be shown, and now over a week later, it is still being talked about. I haven't seen this much excitement in years.
I've noticed that there are a lot of mixed feelings about the controller from what I have seen across the net. Many are happy with it, others are not, but that is something that I have come to expect with the gaming industry. Now that we know of the controller and the possibilities that it holds, the next step for Nintendo is to reveal some software within the next few months. |

Hmm...a remote, interesting. Well, according to a reliable source, when a character has a sword, you swing the controller in the perfered direction and that character will do the same. Sounds interesting. _________________

At the moment, some third party developers have announced that they do have plans that involve potential software for the Nintendo Revolution, but seeing that Nintendo are still keeping things underwraps, they will all be pretty mum on the subject. Guessing as to how many games will be developed for the console is difficult to determine as it has yet to be released, but many fans are hoping that the trend from the past two generations does not get repeated again. A better way would be to guess as to how many games will be released for the console's launch next year. |
