Also, I agree with EC, we should hear how Joe's voice sounds like. To see if Dee Bradley Baker did the voice or not. :O

I'm not too much of a fan of the Vietiful Joe anime in the first place, so I don't see how exactly it could be "ruined" anyway. In fact, if Geneon went and actually got the voice actors from the games to reprise their roles for the dub, then I'd think it'd actually be BETTER. Of course, I'm not holding my breath on that much. . .

I saw the KidsWB commercial and the voice over for Joe is definitely not the Joe I would expect. Oh well, I'm looking forward to it when it comes out in November.

...of all the things they could mess up, they mess up THIS show. Geez, you'd figure this would be one of the easier ones to dub, since most of the characters are adultish. Figures...

I'm gonna go seek out raws and fansubs...

I swear, when I saw the preview for it yesterday, I let out two cries. A cry of excitement and a cry of anguish. I'm happy that it's coming to the U.S, cause I won't have to waste any more PC space with all the episodes raw on my pc . -_-; All thought, I am kind of afraid for it. I mean, I'm freaking scared as crap just thinking of them giving Alastor a crappy voice. I swear, if they do that, I'll so go hunt down Geneon, then again, Geneon has released a large selection of animes with good edits and good voices. I just don't wanna Imagine Joe or Alastor in the Super Monkey whatever it was, I still shudder of the thoughts of Netto slotting in a banana or Gutsman turning into an ape.

I'm not even gonna bother to watch the English show. I know it's going to be a flop, and utterly RUIN both VJ and my OWN reputation. It'll be like this:

A couple of idiot wannabe rappers in my school approach me and my friends and start making comments on us since we are talking about VJ for DS or something. They something in the lines of, "YOU WATCH VIEWTIFUL JOOOEOEOEOOOOOEOEOEEEEEEE!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!" I right away tell them we are talking about the GAMES that are not crap and made for 3 year olds. Since in the society we live in today, they will be thick-headed and still insist that we watch the english dub crap.
After a few minutes of getting them to shut up and get it through their heads that we like the games and not the show. (Done by force, by the way. Laughing

) They finally leave and MOST LIKELY have already started spreading the word to the rest of the school, in which starts another year for me where I have to deal with people saying, "Hey look, it's the Viewtiful Joe kid! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA WHAT A FAG!!!" for the whole friggin' year! GOD! IT'S TOO EARLY FOR THIS!! I JUST GOT TO FRIGGIN' HIGH SCHOOL!!

That's how I feel about this show. I am already being made fun at for the God-AWFUL Naruto dub....

I feel for you man. It was the same way when i was in school a well. Although once in high school everyone became too busy to make fun or care about making fun of people for dumb reasons like that. They still mention tv in your school?
