FFVI(III), when I was... 3 or 4. Gawd, that's a great game. Of course, it was followed a month later by my second game to ever be played, Seiken Densetsu Three, which I see as the bestest game evar. FFVI doesn't count, since I only got to play as Locke while my brother rampaged with Terra. Seiken Densetsu Three counts more, cause you actually get to control characters and... well, do more stuff on your own. I still played it with my other brother but ^_^ it counts more. _________________

I love GoldenSun. Got TLA from a kid at school for Yoshi's Island. Got the first used at EB Games after monthes of searching. I consider them among the best GBA has to offer, allow with Battle Network of course! :D _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

For me it twas Final Fantasy 1. Quite fun, I bought the GBA remake. The first RPG I actually bought and beat was Ocarina of Time (the best game ever in my opinion). _________________

I've actually been playing both Golden Sun games recently, as the last time I played through was when I first got them a couple of years ago. Back then, I had to resort to looking online on how to beat just about every aspect of both games, but with my recent playthrough, I've relied on my own skills as well as my memory. I still prefer the sequel over the original as more was added to it, and that they made a lot of good improvements as well. Even though Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age weren't the first RPG games that I played, I do consider them both to be two of the best RPGs that I have played ever. |

the Golden Sun games seem to be pretty good, at least that's how it sounds from the last few posts. Maybe I'll pick one up. Are there any out in stores right now still, or not? _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

Check out a Gamestop, Wal-Mart, Target, anyone of those might carry them. Since they're from like, 2000, they've got a low cost.
New: $30-$35
Used: $20 _________________ I am Solar Boy Django! TAIYOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!

The english Final Fantasy game for Super Nintendo. My little brother and I rented it from the video store when I was around four or five. We didn't get very far, I think. The next RPG I played was probably Chrono Trigger or something. |

NES - Dragon Warrior
SNES - Final Fantasy IV (U.S. version, so it would be called Final Fantasy II)
Playstation - SaGa Frontier
Sega Genesis - Phantasy Star IV
Very first - Dragon Warrior _________________ War may not be the right answer, but when you're in one, ending it effectively and with positive results is a must. Vote John McCain for U.S. President.

If you go to Gamefaqs and look up it's genre, it says Action RPG. So if you're gonna get technical, Legend of Zelda:Link to the Past is an RPG :P _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

You should be able to find copies of Golden Sun: The Lost Age in stores, although I am not sure with the original Golden Sun. As far as playing both games, while you can jump straight into the sequel and learn the rules of how the game works, it is best to play the first one as well in order to understand the entire plot though the Lost Age does give you a summary of events from the first game. |
