What's your favorite series of EXE

I have to say I like Axess the most so far, based on what I know about all three series and what I've seen of them. The original EXE anime was okay up until they introduced the N1 Grand Prix. That pretty much ruined it, as it went from being a series about a kid and his Navi thwarting the plans of a terrorist organization to some kind of Pokemon clone. Pharohman's emergance didn't really save that particular storyline either since the anime writers decided to completely eliminate the whole Saito plot twist, which really weakened the relationship between Netto and RockMan. The strength of their bond went from being due to actually being brothers, to just the old "My navi/monster/top/ice-cream-sunday/whatever is my best friend!" cliche. The other problem is that neither WWW nor Gospel ever seem to be that much of a threat in EXE. They cause trouble, but after the N1 Grand Prix, that trouble was almost exclusively confined to the net, with no aparrent real-world ramifications.

What I like about Axess is that while the writers take even MORE creative liberties (to the extreme!) and Cross Fusion made the anime more like Power Rangers than RockMan, they did make the stories and plots more interesting, and the Darkloid and Nebula were actually forces to be reckoned with, as their campaigns effected both the cyberworld AND the real world, not to mention there was also a storyline that carried throughout the entire series.

From what I've seen and heard of Stream, it seems to be combining the worst aspects of Axess and EXE together, infusing too much Cross Fusion into the series, and making use of far too many creative liberties and pointless and rediculous plots while ignoring what could potentially be much more interesting storylines that have some basis in the original game series. (I mean, why make an episode where they give Asteroid PlantMan to some whiny little kid that doesn't like vegetables as opossed to giving Asteroid PlantMan to Anetta which could lead to some particularly interesting storylines?)

The original is always the best because it is how the series came out. If it wasn't for it than Axess would have great ideas.

EXE was best for me.No cross fusion just good old netbattleing and some comedy ^_^

I like Axess pets a litle bit more then streams but stream has cooler cross fusion and battle chips so Ill have to say Stream

I like EXE the most, but if Stream keeps on heading down the road it's on then it might become my favorite, I like the current plot quite a bit.

Stream, it has a good plot & lots of Laika, plus all the other sexy charries like Barrel & Nenji & Narcy!!! 1st Exe series, now that I look at it, was pretty boring, except for WWW, & Shuryou. Axess bores me greatly, nice opening & ending themes though

I kind of like different parts of all three. So I'll divide it into catagories:

Best Overall Plot: Axess
Best Plot Twist: Axess (Protoman going evil)
Best Villain: Stream [spoil:2a4264d12d](Dark Megaman! Yay!)[/spoil:2a4264d12d]
Best Ending: EXE (Bug style Megaman going beserk is much cooler than CF Megaman going Full Scyncro and I haven't seen the ending of Stream yet)
Best Good Guy: Stream (Colonel, by far)
Best Fight Scene: Tie (I can't decide. Each series had really good ones.)
Best Humor: Axess (Chaud finally gets a sense of humor!)
Best of Show: Axess

I actually like...all of them. ^_^ They all have their strong points as well as weak points. So...

EXE did have an original plot (until N1 Grand Prix showed up, but after that it got back to original). But, the plot wasn't all too good. :/ The villians did nothing but effect the net, not the real world. Netto is just like Satoshi (from Pokemon), etc. There were some ridiculous filler episodes, too. :/ Overall, it's okay.

Axess had a really dark plot this time around. The plot was very, very good, even with the overusage of Cross Fusion. Smile

The other downside is that this kinda started the Cross Fusion trend. :/ Overall, it was a good anime to watch.

Stream...it was better than EXE, but not quite "there" with Axess. It had sooooooooooooooo many filler episodes with pointless battles with Cross Fusions. Heck...right up into [spoil:865e7828e9]Episode 50[/spoil:865e7828e9] all the main characters have Cross Fusion. The first 10 episodes were good as well as the episodes that introduce Dark Rockman, up until the end. But, I bet it'll have a better ending than EXE & Axess. Wow...more downsides to Stream. O_o

-.- i hated,hate, and will hate the first exe series, they were not so funny, also they changed the excellent storyline that the game had....

the axess series were cool because of the soul unisons and the cross fusion introduccion, also many new characters were introduced,in my opinion, this was the best series.

Stream was okay, im not a CF hater, and actually i enjoy everytime they CF Smile

but this series had even more filler episodes, that's why i hate it, but the story line became good again in the last episodes,if the ending is cool, then this series will be in tie with axess....

The first season (EXE) was my favorite because it involved various firsts. Such as the first time Rockman and Netto meet, the first time Netto and Rockman battle against the World 3, and the first sign of the Rockman/Roll couple.

Well of the three, I can definately say Stream is my least favorite. Jasmine....*seeths* But anyway, I guess the old EXE is my favorite.

1: Of the three, I've seen the most episodes.

2: The antics of Commander Beef are very much missed in the other two shows, like in when he pops up in Sal/Saloma's car in ep 14.

3: I hadn't seen the Reo site at the time when EXE was ending it's dub season, so I had no idea how out of whack the episode airings were, like how Lan's world trip only aired long after EXE ended, and how the Aquasoul episode in Axess has been skipped.

Probably the only things I didn't like about EXE, was Lan/Netto himself. He was just your typical anime guy. A lazy, short tempered, bottomless pit.
He's better in Axess where Chaud/Enzan is his friend and Megaman/Rockman doesn't have to nag him to get up in the mornings.

I think the Soul Unisons went a tad overboard in Stream... I think Enzan and Barrel and a couple others being able to do it... but everyone?

And the OP for Axess was awesome... I wish they had released a full version > Razz

I swear, I still love the Rock vs. Blues fight in EXE. I'd say EXE is my favorite, because it revolved around NETbattling. Not Cross Fusion. I never liked Cross Fusion veyr much in the first place (could be because I personally love Megaman fighting much more than Lan fighting).

I enjoyed all of them [well, I can't comment on Stream since I haven't seen it, but knowing me I'd probably like that too].
EXE...well, it started everything. I like the netbattles, the souls, and Bug Style Rockman going beserk.
I like Axess for how Cross Fusion brought the dangers into the real world [okay, yes, I do like watching the transformation sequences Razz

], making them seem even more urgent, and the Dark Blues saga - plus how Enzan's character develops.

I like Axess the most. It's story and action were great, and I loved Cross Fusion in Axess, it was not over used, and only so few people could acheive it. It was like, a sacred thing that was very dangerous to try, I loved it so much. More Program Advances, more chips, awesome villians (Dark Blues... awwww man), Dark Chips and Soul Unisons... I'll always enjoy watching Axess more then I enjoy watching any show.

Second fav is EXE. Hilarious show that lacked a really good plot, but still had plenty of times where I was on the edge of my seat. I think the N1 was a little too long, and then the episodes inbetween the N1 and Internet City were a little lacking (but still fun, every episode is fun [even the Vacumm episode Razz

]), and then from Gospel on it was a good show, but then lacked again with it's last few episodes.

Least fav is Stream. I can rant all I want about it, but I'll just say that it's villians were not cool at all, maybe Slur was cool, but didn't do too much. It ignored Soul Unisons, and turned Cross Fusion from a dangerous, hard to accomplish feat, into a simple matter where noobs to the series like Dingo and Jasmine can pull it off on their first try. Most of it's plot consisted of waiting around for Duo to do something more evil then give an office worker a magic evil navi.
