That's sounds entirely logicial but seriously it would makes sense that the groom would get a huge growth spurt. (and I'm saying anything about how it would effect maylu)

Thanks for the reviews. In all honesty I didn't really set an age for either of them. But it's fair to assume that they're much older then they're currently are.

Mermaid Jasmine

To be honest this idea came when watching the Little Mermaid with my cousin, while I was babysitting. I figured why not do something like that. I originally planned to use Shuuko but instead chose Jasmine. Drawing it took about an hour but the shading and effects were around 5-8 hours. I also included some fish to add a little more to the pic.

Mermaid Jasmine is quite cute n.n. The red colour fits well for her.

Your art is great. I especialy like how you made the angle of her tail. However, I do think the fish look a bit weird. The background is great too.

You got that song Little Grey Mermaid (Aiuchi Rina, in case you're curious) stuck in my head. XD

I love the background, but I think you should add a gradient over Jasmine because her head seems to be dipping into the depths of the sea, where light cannot reach so easily. You might also consider using a thinner brush so that Jasmine won't look so blocky over the background.

Still, the CG is cute, and great job on her pose. I like the little fishy too. *pokes*

This is my first attempt at using the pen tool to ink my line art. And the lines turned out much better than I had expected. I also added the background to add a little more to the image.
