Member search?

I dunno if this was mentionned before, but...
Is it possible to add, to the memeberlist tab, a search bar (or something like that)?
It would make searching members a bit easier...
Of course, i could be wrong; so feel free to share your thoughts on this...-.-

Just use the Search (for posts) function and use the "Search for Author" option. >_>

You can fool around with the numbers in the address bar for the page. It's not too hard to figure out how to manipulate it to how you want it to run.

And besides, if a person has no posts, why would one want to know about them anyway? <_<

Hmm...i suggested that, because i thought it would be easier than navigate through the memberlist, trying to figure out in which page i could find a random person (and also it would be a bit more practical, as an alternate way to find specific members) for example...
That's why i wasn't sure if that was a good suggestion or not... -_-;

To answer Mari and Midnight Critic's questions, suppose your looking for a member who's website you've been to but you've forgotten the address of the website and want to go back, so you're looking for their account to see if they wrote it down in their account info. That's just an example.

Just learn to bookmark websites you think you'd like to return to. That example would be a case of that person's laziness. :P Really, it would be an effort on our part for too little reward. You can already search for users who have posted. It has always been good enough in the past.

Other than that, it's useless, unless you're trying to see if the name is taken.

The only reason one would want to do that is for statistical analyses of the members of the board, and to my knowledge, no one wants to do that (even I'm not crazy enough to do that yet.)

And besides, when one is registering, doesn't the system inform that person if his or her suggested username is taken yet?

Edit: Spelling errors are an annoyance. <_<
