Baby Slur? YES! You have just filled me with hope, Wind. She's got a 1% chance of returning!

Duh. Haven't you noticed a pattern here with these finales?

EXE: Elecman and Magnetman get killed. Brought back somehow in Axess.

Axess: Regal kills Shademan. Comes back and screws up time via plot device/past tunnel in Stream. (although he does die for good eventually, that's not the point here.)

Slur: Get's accosted by Forte. Chances are, if the writers decide to, Slur just might have a chance of returning in Beast.

Or did someone else already point that out? (I haven't completely read through the thread again yet. You people talk too much y'know. Nothing wrong with it but it's hard to keep up.)

And for the record, no I don't hate Slur either. But she didn't really get very good until she started fighting in Ep. 48. I'll admit that we could've done without the DBZ-style energy blasts but the cable swords are bitchin'. :V

Not sure if this is a spoiler or not anymore, but I'll do it just to be safe.

Nebula Grey is [spoil:c7795d8d3d]the final boss of EXE5[/spoil:c7795d8d3d].

A little late though but the download was 30 hours +.

That was by far an awsome way to end a series.

My favorite part was when all the net ops stood infront of their navis, a show of soliderary between Navi and Operator. Very cool.

Duo's attack that crippled the CF Rangers is one I hate the most in [spoil:e46e37d9b3]BN4[/spoil:e46e37d9b3], so it's no surprise that it did that.

Very awsome epsiode, Very good series. Can't wait to see it here in Canada

Fenril's Verdict (Stream 51) 10

Fenril's Verdict (Stream Series) 8.0

See you all in Beast!

MY...GOD...

I can't believe that after all of that, there were many times that people thought Stream was nothing but a STREAM of annoying filler crap. This was definetely one of the best, well animated, well paced episodes. So much stuff happened and yet it seemed almost like the episode was longer than usual. Bass' big showdown with Slur was violent and awesome, and even left him with his original goal to fight Megaman again in the next series. I was a little saddened by there not being any big dramatic fight with Duo as well, but then again, that might've been a little predictable. Still, I can already hear people making retarded jokes about how "they beat the bad guy with speeches about friendship!!". Something is telling me that Regal MIGHT not be gone, despite what happened. Wether he goes back to his evil ways or not may be affected by his role in the upcoming games. I was looking back and forth between the episode and Ryouko's summary to make it almost seem like I was watching it with subtitles, so thanks a lot for that ^.^

Yanno, I said the same thing to a friend of mine about Justice League Unlimited. It DID start out with a lot of irritating random adventures, but I knew that once the story would kick in then it would get a LOT better. I'm glad I was right, can't wait for Beast.

Disregarding animation (<3 Ishihara), I'm fairly disappointed with this episode. It's not that it was a bad episode, but it was just... dry. It reminds me of EXE 51... it had a fairly awesome fight at the start (Slur and Forte, though too short)... and then a bunch of long, drawn-out crap that doesn't make much sense and leaves you feeling pretty empty at the end of the episode.

Remember how Rockman freaks out from Bug Style? Netto goes in, Rockman grabs him, they scream, the Internet's revived, Rockman returns to the PET, and everyone greets him. And that's it.

That's it? And then in the next episode, insane filler chaos? It felt so empty, just like the Stream finale. Even though I've read translations and understand what happened in the episode, it still all doesn't make much sense. How's Barrel and Colonel fusing with Duo magically make the world come back? And what even happened to Barrel? Where'd Duo go?

Furthermore, why were there even Cross Fusion members to begin with? The way the show built up, you'd think that their purpose, as holders of the Crests of Duo, would be to combine their powers and defeat Duo. All they did was stand there, look pretty, and then pass out, just so their navis can make a bunch of speeches. Aside from Barrel, Meiru was the only one who did something important, and that was getting kidnapped... hell, Regal unintentionally kidnapped her.

Blah. I was just expecting something a lot more catastrophic. Stream built up the finale for, what, 6 episodes? And then it just goes "Eh, it's over."

To be honest, I would have rather seen this episode as the preliminary episode to the TRUE finale (that being some kind of big fight). Yeah, yeah, I know... violence doesn't automatically make something cool. But action is something Stream has been foreign to, and frankly, I wanted to see it go down with a boom. The Dream Virus fight was more entertaining.

Just want to say thanks to Ryouko for setting up the Torrents, I havn't been able to watch Stream in a good while!

I have mixed feelings on this episode, I havn't watched an awful lot of Stream to be perfectly honest as you may have guessed from above.

It was good, I especially enjoyed Slur's deletion. It's those painful deletions that are the best in my books :P

I think while a fight with Duo would've been too predictable the emotional scenes could've been played out better (Though I may be setting my expectations too high from the Dark Blues storyline in Axess). I mean I didn't have any sympathy for the characters until Netto kept shouting out to Barrel.

Still, it was an awesome episode, definately one of Stream's best!

I sure hope Beast's promises of real netbattles instead of CrossFusion stand up though, I think CF has become to much of a give away gift to be meaningful now.

Edit: Oh and if Regal ever does show up again, I'll be disappointed. I thought they were making a point with him all rotting away and all, that he'd be gone for good. Kinda wish his demise had a similar involvement of a certain character as it did in the games (Trying to avoid spoiling it here)

I think they should have fought a little longer before all the emotional stuff. It was a nice episode anyways but really....like I said before...Where was "Be Somewhere?!" Sad I really think It would have kinda fit the ending. I mean, they added the Axess theme to the Axess ending thingy...*sigh* i wish the navis had done some acutal fighting.

Well, from what I've read people are claiming it does. Whether that's true or just false hope is another matter all together.

I hope they do though, CrossFusion has been done to death (I don't mind it, it's just a little predicatble now).

I know that a staff member from Xebec wanted Beast to have more plotlines like the original EXE did, focusing more on character development... but at the same time, have intense action. He/she apparently wants more stories like the ones where Yaito had to pee. But, the Beast preview shows that Cross Fusion is still present, so I doubt we'll get rid of it that easily.

Hmm. Too true.

I too felt that the epsiode was at best anticlimactic. It lacked the certain punch that Axess 51 had. The combat at the beginning was fairly charged, but I think that I speak for a lot of people that I was expecting some sort of idiosyncratic "final showdown/giant combat scene" at the end of this, you know?

As for Beast, it certainly looks intriguing. We can only hope that the focus will be shifted off cross fusion to a greater extent in the next season and perhaps more on the network-related problems.

What did Forte say right before he logged out? Something about Rockman?

Rockman: Roll-chan....
Roll: Yes?
Rockman: What the hell is this? *holds up some yellow mixture of Aquaman, Slur, and Rockman*
Roll: Well, you see...

This episode was great, despite that one of the sexiest characters in the show is back to being an old man, why couldn't they send Misaki? (Nothing against Misaki, but if I said Meiru the fans would kill me o_o;)

My prediction about Regal's death was almost right and is it just me, or did he remind anyone of Orochimaru from Naruto?

PS - Enzan in Laika are in BEAST, maybe he won't move to Saiba and the new characters will just come out of nowhere in Akihara.

A little earlier in the topic...

Ryouko wrote:
Forte: "Chikyuu ga buji date no matte oo, Rockman."

Unfortunately, my precise translation into english is spotty (especially when I'm not sure if my Japanese spelling is entirely correct). If anyone can make better sense of it, feel free. But for now, my best guess is "The Earth is safe for a little longer, Rockman."

In any case, I think after the events of the movie, Forte is no longer on the obsessed hunt to absorb Rockman like he was in the beginning of Stream. He probably instead holds some shred of respect for him.

Strange really, I wonder if after the movie Forte would even need Rockmans program anymore. I hiope he has a decent sotry arc in Beast (Forte that is).

I just asked Izu for the precise translation, and here's what she said:

"Your world is safe, but just wait, Rockman..."

I was close. XD

Wow. Those were Forte's last words. He only made 4 appearances out of the entire anime but in the end, he kicked butt big time.

Meh, I'm still a little pissed at him for what he did to Slur, but I hope he doesn't get what he got in Stream. Oout of 51 episodes, he only appeared in 4...He needs more air-time after what happened.

I kind of liked it. I know there's an explaination about barrel and duo but I can't put it into words. I did like the emotion. Hopefully beast will have more netbattles cause that's pretty much what everyone wants.
