Umm.. this is a rather... cute glitch.. but it is now keeping me from going any further in the game..
I'll try and leave out as much detail to keep from spoiling things.. but this is pritty close to the start of the game anyway..

Note I've been conned into playing the Colonel version of the game.. *cough* -_-; My sis has the import.. I got the english.. *twich* And she wanted to play along with me side by side..

ANYWAY! After the first Liberation Mission.. when Netto is standing in the park with the others.. and they run off... You get an E-mail.... well...

I kept getting it.... over and over again.... It's the Email on the DarkChip info.. I got 52 copys of it @.@

Then.. later on when you go to the beach.. after all the fun swimming and such.. before you go to gather the fishing stuff.. get another Email (at this point I'm paranoid of that email sound) I got just one that time.. but when I went to read it.. it didn't show up.. I can't continue in the game with out it..

So.. I'm stuck....

Anouuuuuuuuuuuu..................................... >_<
Stupid me for saving AFTER I got spammed :grr:

Conned? I was the one you duped into playing any of the games in the first place. >________>

"Just get to the Chip Folder and we can compare the Japanese List of Chips to the English Chips!" you said. >__>

Pfft~. Yeah, then I get suckered into actually playing my copy of Team of Blues all day long yesterday to see if I really liked it or not..... Bah!

Not sure if this is technically a Spoiler or not, but I have to say it:
[spoil:07d8a4058f]Rabbit Raccoon![/spoil:07d8a4058f]

I just suggested it would be fun to play the Japanese and English Versions side by side and see how it went. You hadn't played Team of Colonel yet and neither had I. So there. Razz

And technically, I think you're only allowed to hold so many e-mails. XD I just wonder where the delete button is. XDD *cackle*

Odd. There is no 'delete' button for e-mails in this game, possibly because the developers never thought that an event like this would occur.

I am positively baffled. The only possible explanation I can put forward is that perhaps one of you is playing a ROM. Other than that, there really isn't any alternative except to reset the game and start anew. The good thing is that you didn't really lose that much progress...

First, stay on-topic. If you two want to have a little argument, use PMs.

Second, we'd need more details (such as if you used a GameShark/CodeBreaker/etc). And even then, we probably won't know of any way to fix the problem other than restarting your game.

Using GameShark codes. I'm not sure what she input that could have done it. The Delete Button was just a joke. It wasn't meant as an argumentitive statement and I apologize if it was taken as such.

She had to restart the game, it was just a curious question if this had happened to anyone else. It didn't happen to mine, only hers. She had the US Version of Team of Colonel, I have the Japanese.

GameShark Codes were used.

Well, that answers your question. Game Shark codes are known for being unstable, and can cause rather strange things to happen to your game. This is the primary reason I do not use these, nor do I recommend their use.

That is a good thing Razz I would have hated it to have happend later on like how fare I am on the Blues version.

But I was using GameShark Codes.. I already got to the end of the Blues ver with out any..
Oo I opted to just wizz past the Colonel one with a few codes. Inf HP for one, and all chips to just see what they all did sense it's the Blues ver I'm playing normally. Colonel is my "Lets get everything right off and go nuts" one sense I already did everything in the Blues ver ^^;;;

But it looks like the Email thing was a one time glitch.. I played though again using the same codes and it didn't happen.. But that was still a weird thing to see 52 emails..

I can see poor Rock holding his head as the spam came flooding in!

Well yeah, if you use the codes the wrong way, glitches and bugs can occur. Thus making it impossible sometimes to get further.. -_-;

Yeah I know.. But like I said, this ver of the game is just the mess around ver Razz The Blues ver is the one I'm truly playing.

Beside it's fun some times to see what glitches come out of it.. My sis's GBA started making funny noises not long ago XD

I'm just having issues now getting the Navi Cust to... cust... ^^;;;;;;;;
Mommy the peaces vanish if I remove them... WITH NO CODES.

Oooo funn...

everyone says that ROMs usually have glitches, but that never happens to me. but, yeah that is wierd. i've actually given up using Action Replay because:
A.) it's like, impossible to use, and
B.) it deleted my save game of MMBN 1. it also corrupted part of the game so i had to start over.

Except that the NA version in not compatable with Japanese E-Reader cards.

Oh, and the homepages of Dekao, Meiru, and Yaito were simplified for the NA version. :P

I hope I'm not spamming right now, but anyway...

Weren't some areas in the NA version taken out of the game from the original JP version?

It's just a thought.

It is. I know for a fact that a Japanese EXE1 can link with a NA MMBN1. Me and Izu have NetBattled. :P I believe EXE2 is the same.

Why DO they do those region lock things, anyways? It rules out the possibility of a world tournament. And, you know, that would totally rock. (No pun intended.)

>___> My guess is that Video game companies just want you to buy the version (JP or NA version) your friend has, so you HAVE to buy another version of the game if you want to battle a person with a different person, which means that they get more profit. :P Or, take Yu-Gi-Oh for example, they just make an extra game called WorldWide Edition and so you will also have to buy it to compete with others. Base of all, they just want you to buy another game. EXE games are exceptions, but games like Kingdom Hearts won't work (I tried connecting my Japanese one with this kid with the English one, won't work.) Or, if you mean by 'can't play a JP game on a NA Gamecube' sort of region lock, same applies, they want you to buy another version of their console. (Which is what my friend did after realizing that he can't benefit from borrowing games if all of us have NA version. XP)

World Tournament, you ever see they hold one for video game contest? (Maybe they did, but not a lot, I believe.) They just don't do that because of Language Problems and stupid Japanese-exclusive-Stuff ([spoil:527dd93337]Won't you say that the Japanese has a high advantage when he got Nebula Grey and other Japanese exclusive chips all filling his heck while you have are stupid little Cannon A, B, and C?[/spoil:527dd93337]) Also, it's just too annoying; if they started an argument and neither of one understands each other, it won't be really pretty.

Actually, up to EXE 3. EXE 4 & 5 wouldn't let me.
________________________________________________________

I have seen stuff made by codes, but not a SPAM! Such weird event is going to my library, and about you said about the Navicust, be carefull, I downloaded a EXE 3 save file(just for fun) and the original user had used cheats and the navicust is now un operational.

Also I had a glitch in my REAL EXE 3, I was battling with my friend trying to get a Delta Ray Edge chip and on one battle, after I won, it said that I got 50 bug frags! We knew that it was a glitch because the image had a little glitch at the top of it and after some battles I still kept getting 50 bug frags, and he was like: "Hey you're going to leave me with no bug frags!" And I tought: "Shouldn't he had run out of bugfrags by now?" And I told him to look how many bug frags he had, he ZOMG'd when he saw that he had 9999 bug frags, then I look at mine, I also had 9999 bug frags! Good thing it wasn't permanent as in I can deplete them. I think it must be that he used cheats to get all chips and place 30 Mega and Giga chips in the folder, but the effect was gone by then because he modified the navicust by mistake.
